Capital View Motor Inn Motel

Stayed one night and was really impressed. The location's ideal — just a short walk to Cuba Street. Free secured parking was a huge bonus. Staff were outstanding — super accommodating and even sorted me out with a charger when I forgot mine. The room was more modern than I expected, very clean, with a great bathroom and a wall heater which was perfect for the chilly night. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent place to stay and great price and location. The room was more modern than we expected. Newish carpet. The double beds were so comfortable which was a huge bonus for 2x people with sore bodies. The kitchen was great and bathroom really nice. Location was great with plenty of eateries within walking distance. No noise from the streets. The flood lights were too bright at night, they shone through around the curtains. This would have been our only issue. The staff were friendly. Accommodation was clean. Having the added carpark with the booking was one of the selling points for us. We are so glad that we decided to stay here. If we're ever lucky to be able to attend WOW again, this will definitely be our choice of accommodation.

Fantastic wee motel! Nestled just at the end of Cuba Street it is quick walking distance to a ton of eateries & shops. It's also close to the motorway, but has no traffic noise. Great views over Wellington. Clean & modern and with free parking. The owners are so friendly & accommodating. Highly recommend & would definitely stay again.

Great location, with car parking included. Very accommodating staff let us park after check out in the car park until we had to leave to catch ferry at 11 am. This allowed us to explore on foot. The room was warm, comfortable and quiet with nice views.

This was an incredible find in Wellington!! Free parking onsite, walkable to Cuba street and really clean and comfortable, friendly and accommodating staff. We stayed here for 3 nights first of all, then I ended up getting really sick a day after I left Wellington, we had to circle back to Wellington hospital, I wasn't ready to get back on the road yet, so we stayed another few days - the whole time the staff were so helpful. This was a great place to rest and recover - it felt like a safe home base and Hugo (the cutest check in dog) lifted my spirits <3 When I was well enough to leave, the staff wished me well. It was so lovely to be able to sleep so well and have everything we could need at the doorstep.|I can vouch for this place for just a very comfortable restful break or a convenient accommodation to see the sites of Wellington. It was perfect!|If you're driving North and South Islands, it's well worth spending 2 or 3 nights here. Great laundry facilities and the best sleep we had out of anywhere in NZ.

We had a wonderful stay here. The room was clean and comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. We didn't cook but nice to know that we could. The hotel is close to Cuba St but has free parking which is a real bonus. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful . We loved everything about this hotel!

Capital View Motel Inn is one of the best places to stay if you want to be close to Cuba Street. Some rooms have really nice views too. It’s an older building, but you wouldn’t really feel it because it’s well maintained. The staff are great, and the rooms are comfy and cozy — perfect for a relaxed stay in the city!
