La Barchina Fish & Chips

Take away from a barge docked on the canal. The prices for this overpriced touristy beach City were reasonable here with large portions. The owner was friendly and patient. We had the mixed seafood fry, the spaghetti vongole, a scampi pasta and another pasta with 3 canned drinks and the total was Eur49. They were cooked fresh to order and served in take away containers from which we ate on our beach chairs.

I was hungry, and this is such a satisfying snack/meal when you're walking along the beach. It is so tasty that ravens snatched some of my fish from the (closed) box when I got distracted. So pay attention.

Amazing fried mussels 6 euros, Pasta alla trabacolara 8 euros very good and huge ammount but not my style, crabs stick 4 euros very good. And fritto misto it was actually from a boat next to this one which was amazing as well. Fast and easy to order, they tell you the time. Sitting next to the sea in the port eating fresh fish without paying copperto

We stopped here for a quick early dinner. The fritto misto was delicious as well as the merluzzo…we would definitely come back!

I am not a fan of seafood! But this was the best i had! We had to wait a long time in line! But was totally worth it! Amazing!
