Capitol Boutique Hotel

I rarely write reviews, but this experience deserves a warning. I stayed in Room 001, which is literally next to the kitchen and breakfast area. From 6am onward, the noise was unbearable, made sleep impossible. I called reception hoping for help, but the receptionist hung up. Then I went there in person, despite having a fever, only to be told there were no other rooms available (even though there were rooms on booking). No empathy, no solution. Even after breakfast hours, the noise continued due to poor acoustic insulation. I returned to reception to request a reimbursement, and was met with a dismissive “the noise was *only* from 7am to 10.” As if that makes it acceptable. The breakfast was also very disappointing. I paid €88 (one night) for what can only be described as a nightmare experience.

Absolutely fabulous! All. Our double room, house keeping, reception (all reception staff speak English and have been very helpful). Excellent location. Highly recommended.

Stayed for one night with a friend after finishing the camino. Lovely welcoming hotel, receptionist was excellent and she gave great coffee recommendations! The location is excellent, close to all the main shops and restaurants and to the park. The only slight negative was that the air con was not working very well in the room and there seemed to be a nightclub next door with loud music playing until about midnight. Neither of those two things took away from our experience and I would have no problem recommending this hotel to friends and family.

Rather bland business style hotel , very clean and comfortable but no character or charm. The two guys on the afternoon and evening shift on 18/9/25 were so helpful and friendly, couldn’t do enough for us. Very average breakfast

We stayed at this hotel after our camino. I loved that in our romm was a bathtub...it was fantastic to have a bath after our camino. We got a nice and clean room in the attic. We loved it.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location. Stayed here for an overnight stay and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. The location was close to the Plaza de Galicia bus stop so it was easy to find when arriving late at night. Breakfast was ample and with a great choice of fresh items, breads, pastries, etc. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful! O slept really well and was able to get up fully refreshed the next day. I would highly recommend this location for any length of stay. I will definitely be coming back.

A great location (just a few minutes walk to the centre of town) and a fine hotel. Was very welcoming and the staff were very helpful and friendly. A very modern hotel which had quiet rooms. Our group have only positive memories from staying here

Stayed here on my last night on the Camino, June 7. 2025. Lovely hotel, wonderful receptionist that was very helpful. Room was outstanding, very quiet, and about a 10 minute walk to the Cathedral.
