Nice ambience Good service Beef stroganoff Nice and homely feel. Lots of mushroom and good amount of slices of beef. Fish Interesting. Cod fish was nicely cooked. Sweet potato added a nice touch. The greens helped to cut the grease. Fried soft shell crab Not my cup of tea..thick batter.. greasy. Not much taste of the crab due to the flour! Cakes I liked the apple. It has a nice tinge of ginger, cinnamon and real apple bits. The earl grey didn't come through for the second cake. The raspberry jam overpowered and took dominance.

My favorite place to have my lunch there!! Many restaurants, clinics, bakery shops, daiso and many more. A beautiful place to take photos. And link to Funan shopping mall.

Capitol is hive of activity when I was there. Today. It's fast becoming a food haven many more F&B outlets here ranging from Japanese Ramen & Sushi concept to Thai cuisine and Indian vegetarian as well French Asian fusion cuisine from the modern & artsy The Masses. Also not forgetting a nice Hopscotch bar There is something for everyone here. Capitol has really gone through a massive transformation. Good to check it out.

Lovely mall but the B2 nursing room design really cmi, the nursing chair is right next to the open nappy bin, nearly asphyxiated! Baby also lost appetite!

great shopping mall with variety of shopping, food and service. arcade@capitol has even more food and shopping options which is great. toilets here are clean so really can spend a day here.

IMO this is a modern mall centred around the old Capitol Theatre - a cinema that I have frequented when I was young until my thirties. It is nice to see the old cinema intact from some view points. As a mall, it mostly comprised eateries with very few retail - and only couple of eateries have stood the test of time. As I was there this Sunday morning by car, I found it challenging heading towards the mall's carpark as there was almost a nonstop stream of pedestrians using the zebra crossing enroute to the mall's carpark. I don't know if there's something that can be done about this to alleviate the very long wait time faced by car parkers not just heading into the mall's carpark but also leaving the same. Otherwise, it is a pleasant mall to visit - with almost none of the usual suspects found in other malls in Singapore.

The streets are clean. The church lights up beautifully at night, making evening walks very enjoyable. However, the area is a bit quiet and feels somewhat deserted.
