Capo Galera Diving Center

We spent five amazing days at Capo Galera and already want to return. The location is quiet and beautiful and accommodation was very comfortable with an amazing view - waking up to a sunrise over the water and going to bed with Alghero lit up in the distance. The dives were spectacular - we did our advanced and nitrox certifications and saw awesome caverns and lots of sea life (we especially loved joining for a night dive). We received great dive briefings, instruction and support and both improved our skills throughout the week. Overall we just felt so welcomed by all the staff. Gaddo, Lapo, Mauro, Lou, Marion and everyone else who helped throughout the week were helpful, thorough, and fun. The optional lunches were also delicious - (if anyone reading this can share the secret for how that eggplant was so delicious please let me know). Thank you all, we can't wait to be back!!

Great Diving Center. Super friendly and competent staff. Unique opportunity for safe and guided cave dives. Extraordinary dive sites (e.g. Grotta di Nereo). Nice and clean guest rooms with a beautiful sea view. Delicious lunch. I really enjoyed my stay here. Many thanks to the Risso Family!

We had a fantastic time with Capo Galera Diving Center. We did around 15 dives with them over the course of around 10 days. They are extremely organized and safe. They have a very friendly and experienced staff, which showed us the best sites and some of the critters that we wanted to see. The fish life around Sardinia was the best that we’ve seen in the Mediterranean, due to Marine Protected areas and the absence of invasive Lionfish. They also gave us great advice on other things to do in the places we were traveling to. They serve a nice lunch between dives, which is convenient, especially when doing a third dive. I highly recommend Capo Galera Dive Center if your travels bring you to Alghero.

If you're looking to start diving this is the place for you!! I don't usually write reviews but I needed to share this. The team is fantastic. Gaddo was quick to reply to emails and discussed in detail what i needed to convert my Scuba course to Open Water. On arrival, everyone greeted us and welcomed us in. Every single person there was welcoming and their love for diving is infectious. My instructor was Rachelle - professional, knowlegable and super smiley. She's just one of those awesome women that knows how to live life to the fullest - you will learn so much from her 🤩 The diving locations are cool. Lots of marine life to see!! The location is insanely beautiful and the house has stunning views across the sea to Alghero. We didn't stay overnight but will the next time we visit. If you have the opportunity to get lunch, then do it!! Sitting with the team and other divers is a great way to listen to other people's stories and experiences. It also feels like a family, with Gaddo sitting at the head of the table. You'll feel you're part of something special. I can't recommend this team enough. I'll always have great memories. We went for a family discovery diving with 2 boys aged 10 and 13 and we had such a wonderful experience that we actually went back the following week. Top nuch diving center in an amazing location (the only building in the wild and natural setting of the cap at the very end of a private road). Great team, charming and confortable wood boat, modern diving equipment and extraordinary dive sites! Cherry on the cake: they have a few rooms with sea view and they offer an excellent optional lunch service at a very affordable price. In short: great and memorable experience… best of our holiday in Sardaigna!

Definitely the top diving center where I have ever dived, worth every penny. I do not want to take anything away from city of Alghero because it seems like a beautiful place, however it tells something of Capo Galera that I spent there 12 nights and left the compound only to close town of Fertilia and hiking in nearby areas, that's how great the people and the place are. I was traveling solo and the airline lost my luggage for few days. Capo Galera had all necessary diving equipment and were very kind to help me to get my luggage. I did over 30 dives with the guys and experienced everytime something new even if we were in same dive sites couple of times: seahorse(!), octopuses, groupers, barracudas, lobsters, not to mention the beautiful and varying caverns in the dive sites. You can have nice lunch after morning dives, meet and share your experiences with other divers. I met a great german guy who took multiple very wunderbar photos underwater (see the octopus photo) and shared great stories above the surface as well. I recommend not just to do the dives but spent at least couple of nights at Capo Galera to get known the group and exlpore the nature around. Rooms are very nice with view over the bay area. I rented a bike for 10 days and cycled to Fertilia and closer to Capo Gaccia to natural park to have few drinks and look at Alghero from the top. Works very well for group or a family that does want to do other things than diving or to do diving and other activities also. Book couple of nights and at evening in Capo Galera you can hang around the porch, have a cold one and enjoy the view over the bay - great time! When I arrived to Capo Galera I had one the most amazing views - quite quickly forgot my luggage was lost with the stunning sunrise over the bay. Thanks guys I will not forget all the awesome stories regarding diving and other non-diving related laughs as well! Gaddo, Lapo, Marion, "Jhon", Luka, Diego, Fransesco, Uwe, guys in the kitchen I hope we will see again!
