Amazing time at this restaurant. Food was 10/10. It is also BYOB, which is a plus. Best Brazilian spot in Jersey City. Netu & Pedro were both amazing at servicing us. We appreciated it so much & had a great time. Definitely coming back.

What a hidden gem! Authentic and delicious Brazilian food in the middle of Jersey City. I got some amazing bites and I was able to bring my favorite wine to pair it. I had a very lovely night and would definitely come back!

We went there for brunch after the Jersey City 5k and had the best experience. The food was amazing, highly recommend the cheese bread waffles (savory) and their brigadeiro coffee. The staff are extremely friendly and we had the best time! HIGHLY RECCOMEND

The food was exceptional. The açaí bowl is the best one I had till now. It was tasty and fresh. At the same time, the burgers are so well made and doesn’t feel very heavy on your gut, don’t know how! Also, the coffee was amazing and the service was everything that you had want in an excellent restaurant and brunch place. Loved the food and the atmosphere there. Will definitely go back.

We had a great time eating here. The highlight was absolutely the Brazilian cheese bread. I immediately wished we had more after we polished off the plate. The stroganoff was delicious and it was really nice to have a vegan option. The service was quick and our server was very helpful and enthusiastic. The decor inside the restaurant was eclectic and specific to the Brazilian Portuguese influence.

Can’t believe we didn’t discover this neighborhood gem sooner! The staff were hospitable and attentive, guiding us through the traditional Brazilian menu. With so many tempting choices, it was hard to decide. We ended up with the garlic shrimp, cheese bread, rump cap steak, and chicken stroganoff—each one delicious. For dessert, the Portuguese pastéis de nata were the perfect finish. We’ll definitely be back, and the seafood stew is at the top of our list for next time! Definitely need a reservation.

Capoeira is a cozy, beautiful, and welcoming restaurant. I have been coming to this restaurant every week for almost 2 years. The quality of the food is excellent. I’ve tried almost the entire menu, and everything is delicious and well made. The staff Neto, ludmyla, Pedro, and Kaleb are very nice, professionals, thoughtful, and make sure you’re always satisfied and happy ! I highly recommend Capoeira. It is my favorite restaurant in Jersey City!

We had the BEST dinner and evening at Capoeira! From the food, to the atmosphere, to the incredibly lovely people who work there, we can’t say enough wonderful things about this restaurant. Truly a hidden gem in Jersey City that we’ll be recommending to anyone in the area and coming back very soon!
