Cappabhaile House is a lovely representation of real Irish hospitality. The rooms are sizeable, the location outside of the town of Ballyvaughan is peaceful, quiet, and I sleep better there than I even do at home. |Conor and Margaret's hospitality is unequaled, as is Margaret's porridge and the lovely breakfast that arrives from the kitchen with a smile and a welcome each and every morning. Conor is an expert on the local area and offers suggestions, annotated maps, and other tidbits of guidance for those looking to explore.|I invited friends to join me during my stay and they commented on the lovely local wildlife photography on the walls of rooms and corridors, and the friendly and efficient staff. |Finding a place that is close to amenities and also delivers deep peace and quiet is a gem. Cappabhaile House is such a treasure. |I would highly recommend this B&B to everyone I know!

I often say that Cappabhaile House is the best B and B in Ireland, and my most recent visit in October confirms this. Owners Conor and Margaret welcome guests, provide a wealth of information on the area, and create a comfortable atmosphere, often going above and beyond. The rooms are large, charmingly decorated with classic/timeless features, and have great views. Clean, comfortable, and well equipped, I've slept well every night I've stayed there. The breakfast is outstandingly tasty, and always exceeded expectations :). It's a wonderful place to use to explore the Burren and the richness of this part of Ireland. I'm so glad I discovered Cappabhaile House 23 years ago so I could keep going back to visit every year!

This B&B was terrific. Very comfortable and so convenient to visit all the great sights along the Coast and Inishmore (Aran Islands). The views from our room of the Burren was very cool! Connor & Margaret are the perfect hosts. The breakfast was delicious!

This place was fantastic. Incredible breakfast, great large room, wonderful bathroom and shower. Fascinating, interesting owners. Only thing needed plug-ins by the bed for charging your phone. Take extension cords. Clean and cozy. If you are a jogger, great road out front for running. Great experience.

My Irish-born husband and I were traveling with another couple, showing them the Ireland we love. We were especially keen for them to visit The Burren, and we booked two rooms at Cappabhaile House near Ballyvaughan. It is every bit as lovely as the pictures: a spacious, well-appointed home with traditional decor, a game room, a comfortable seating area, and a large breakfast room. ||Conor and his wife Margaret are just delightful. Conor shared information and lent us a guidebook about The Burren, and at night we were pleasantly surprised with a concert of him and a friend regaling us with traditional Irish tunes. Conor's voice is poignant, brought tears to my eyes. And he takes requests!||Our room was large and comfortable, with plenty of storage, a nice sitting area with tea service and biscuits, and bucolic views from the window. We had a quiet night's sleep. ||The breakfast is just exquisite. You have quite a few choices, and you're asked to submit your request the night before. A special request was easily accommodated. The breakfasts are beautifully made, my smoked salmon and scrambled eggs were generous and out of this world. My Irish husband pronounced the overnight oatmeal to be the best he's EVER had, and that's saying something! I don't know how Margaret does it, managing so many people with good humor.||Connor warned us not to try to walk to nearby Ballyvaughan for dinner: "You'll be killed" he said simply. He also advised us to make reservations for the main restaurant there, Monk's, and their seafood is really worth it!||After three weeks of travel in Ireland, Scotland and Amsterdam, we have stayed in numerous accommodations, and I can honestly say this was the best! And amazingly, reasonably priced! I we ever return, we will definitely stay here again.

Very nice B&B after a long day’s drive. Breakfast (and service!) was amazing, beds were comfy, and the room was spacious. Only things to keep in mind is that the shower pressure is a little low, and there are not many outlets in the room. Otherwise, wonderful! Would totally stay again.

Comfy beds great big rooms, but very dated and dark. Not great signage we nearly drove past it. Nice breakfast. But I definitely would not stay again

Cappabhaile house was a lovely place to stay in the Burren area. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. They have a wonderful breakfast. The staff are helpful and give you local recommendations. It is very close to the Ailwee Cave and Birds of Prey. It is an easy drive to the Cliffs of Moher. Highly recommend.

Yelp
An unexpected gem! We stayed here ate a last minute decision and are so glad we did. The rooms are huge, clean, and come with amazing views of cows, fields, and the mountains of the Burren. Breakfast is delicious and huge! We didn't have to eat lunch because we were still stuffed. Cooked to order you have plenty of choices on the menu. The location is very convenient to the Cliffs of Moher, Burren National Park, and a scenic easy drive to Galway or Shannon. We will be back.
