Cappuccino Grand Café - Mitte

Staff is fast but not friendly. They are just there but feels like they don’t make any effort to make you feel welcome. Awkward, but again, they do their job and it’s enough. Food: served fast, but pricey but that’s Mitte and rents are crazy for that size of store. Menu selection for all tastes. Small detail but makes difference: strawberries for the bowl were not fresh cut, looks dry and not fresh as might be there for some time. Not a big deal but not expected. For 12€, bowl could be bigger as no special ingredients included. Ambient: well decorated and cleaned. Some tables super close to each other but understandable. Good for going alone, dates or group of friends.

I stopped by this café with a friend in the afternoon. We ordered two drinks and a cake. The place has a cute, minimalist, pink aesthetic—fine for a quick meet-up, nothing more. The food and drinks were extremely basic, nothing memorable. Service was… neutral. Not friendly, not rude—just there. The space is larger than it looks, but somehow still awkward to sit in. Plenty of room, yet no comfortable spot to settle. Something about the layout just feels off. Overall, it’s okay for a one-time visit, but there’s nothing compelling enough to come back for.

Place is cozy and good vibe. Staff can be a bit more attentive with customer service. Food and drinks are very nice.

Mostly this was a good exprience. The food is great although the portions are small. We ordered ham and cheese croissants and shared four American pancakes. They were the tinest things you ever saw. American pancakes are huge. These were tiny. Other than their disappointing size, we liked the pancakes. We had to ask for extra maple syrup as they brough a small cup which was half filled. As Americans, this was depressing. Other than that, it was good food and service although over-priced.

The food is alright. For the portion and taste, it's a bit expensive. We had also ordered 'Pick me up' juice and a Pistachio latte. Loved the drinks. Can recommend both of them . The Ambience is overall good.

This Café is absolutely delightful! They offer a wonderful variety of breakfast options, featuring different styles of eggs and perfectly prepared avocado dishes. We made a reservation on Saturday for our Sunday breakfast, and it turned out to be such a pleasant experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were attentive and friendly. However the only downside was the noise level, it was quite loud, which made it challenging to fully relax. Additionally, the air circulation indoors could have been better, as it felt a little bit stuffy at times. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for a hearty breakfast, specially if you don’t mind a lovely ambient.

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE REVIEWS, THEY GIVE FREE COFFEE FOR REVIEWS. They don’t even know what is customer service. Very rude waiters that don’t know customer service basics. I ordered coffee and dessert and sat down to do some work and in less than 1 hour she came very rudely asking me to pay and leave. Maybe put a sign saying the maximum period is 1 hour. And btw there were a lot of empty tables, I just chose my peace and left. The rudeness of the waiter ruined my morning. Only go there if you want to deal with rude waiters and ruin your day.

The waitresses are definetly very welcoming and friendly. In those moments, one thinks whether he should move from Munich to Berlin… Food is good for breakfast and there are a lot options.

Wonderful place to eat breakfast. Prices are reasonable and portion sizes are reasonable. I wish we would have discovered them much earlier. Customer service was efficient and professional. I also appreciated that they were flexible and accommodating to people with food allergies.

Perfect for a quick breakfast. Portions are somewhat small but not too expensive. Coffee was fine, they're definitely not used to making iced coffee drinks, but hot coffee was good. My friend got pancakes and they were good, I got eggs with prosciutto and onion and they were great. Minimal contact with service, and street dining was nice.
