Cappun Magru

really enjoyed the food here! they're really proud of their food and most of the ingredients are locally sourced so they tasted fresh. we had panino vernazza which was salted cod with hummus. the taste is quite neutral although it's still pretty tasty given the freshness of the ingredients. the sandwich was nicely toasted and they were so kind to slice the sandwich to half since we're sharing. we also tried poppy seed cake which was nicely heated. it's really nice and delicate. a lovely shop at the higher part of the island.

Delicious food and genuinely lovely service We had such a beautiful meal at Cappun Magru. The food tasted home-cooked in the best possible way. Full of flavor, heart, and care. The wine was superb, and the staff were kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout. They had gluten free bread. I’m usually a bit skeptical of places with such high ratings, but in this case, it’s absolutely justified. Would definitely recommend.

the staff were really kind and patient in their explanation of the menu to me in english. the anchovy sandwich was really delicious! wanted to try all the other dishes that sounded so good but i was alone and could not order more, however based on the quality of what i had i believe all food at this place will be authentic and good :)

Delicious homemade specialties. Wonderful family runned restaurant with number of specialities. Also great local vino. Very warm welcome and service...french, italian, german...just perfect!

Everything was incredible. The waiter definitely knew what to recommend. We tried local wine, and it was amazing to sip it while looking at the hill where it was produced. The food was absolutely delicious - 100 times better than the commercial places in town.

A true culinary experience! The owners are extremely kind and the food is exceptional. Everything from the food to wine is of local production. Easily the best meal we had within Cinque Terre.

We found this on Google as it had such high ratings. We were looking for a snack and some wine and beer. We ordered their shrimp sandwich which was amazingly delicious! My husband got a beer and I wanted a local white wine. The guy working here gave a great explanation of the local wines and I sampled a couple and got a delicious glass of white wine and then got a delicious glass of rose! What a great place to stop for a glass of wine and a yummy snack!

Ate here two times for breakfast whilst staying in Manarola. The service was super friendly but a little slow. The food was ok, however breakfast isn’t what they specialize in. There isn’t a lot of choice when it comes to breakfast spots in Manarola. The dining area was a bit squishy but had a beautiful outlook.
