Capri by Fraser Phnom Penh – A Well-Located, Well-Priced Option with Room to Improve
I recently stayed at Capri by Fraser Phnom Penh and overall, it was a solid experience with a few areas that could use attention.
The Pros:
• The location is excellent, making it easy to get around the city.
• My room was spacious, clean-lined, and modern, designed with longer stays in mind.
• It comes well-equipped with a microwave, fridge, cooking counter, and basic utensils—perfect for those who like a bit of independence while traveling.
• The breakfast was surprisingly good with a decent variety.
• Best of all, the price point is very reasonable for what’s offered.
The Cons:
• Housekeeping could be more thorough—I noticed some debris left from the previous guest when I checked in.
• The air conditioning didn’t cool properly, which made the room slightly uncomfortable at times.
• The rain shower wasn’t functioning well, and water tended to leak out of the shower area.
Overall, Capri by Fraser Phnom Penh offers great value and convenience, especially for longer stays, but there are a few maintenance and housekeeping issues that need addressing to make it truly top-tier. I’d still consider returning, hopefully with those fixes in place.
