Came here for the first time for a boys’ night and it hit the spot. The food was exactly what I was looking for — flavorful, fresh, and perfect for sharing. It’s a BYOB place, which made the night even better. One thing that stood out was the bathroom setup — they actually have toothbrushes, toothpaste, and mouthwash available. Nice touch you don’t see often. Overall, great first experience and I’d definitely come back.

Seeking some good Seafood I decided to go to a place I heard about in Fort Lee. I did not know what to expect upon arrival but was quickly surprised at how nice and cozy the restaurant felt. It was very clean, not loud at all and the server she was great! They have a seafood boil which was really tasty with the garlic butter sauce. The server also brought out a bucket which I thought was really smart for all the shells. Definitely happy I tired this place, keep up the good work.

This place has been my favorite spot for my seafood boiled for many years. Staff are super friendly, food is great but a little pricey. Do make a reservation if you wanna stop on the weekend. They get really busy. If you wanna get on romantic date night, this is not the place. If you get messy and have some tasty seafood boiled, Capt Loui Fort Lee is number one in New Jersey.

Went to this location the other day with the family and had an amazing time. The food was delicious, the service was superb, and it was all very well priced. We had a seafood boil with lobster, clams, and sausages. It was amazing. I love the fact that they provide you a bib, gloves, and a bucket for the shells/trash of the seafood boil. My nephew had the chicken tenders and he said they were delicious. The lemonade was great and even came in a really cool package (pictured below). Other food pictured was the New England clam chowder, the garlic bread, and Cajun fries which were delicious. We also ended our meal with funnel cake fries and a scoop of vanilla ice cream which is not pictured. I highly recommend this place and would definitely go back. I would love to see if the other locations are as good as this one as this was my first time at this franchise. I’m hooked!

My friend and I were craving a seafood boil and decided to give Capt Loui a try — and wow, we were not disappointed! Everything was absolutely delicious, a real celebration of flavors. We went around 3 PM, so it was quiet, and we had the place to ourselves. The service was great — super attentive and welcoming. We started with the peach lemonade (refreshing!) and the piña colada, which was excellent. The soft shell crab basket came with fries, and I got the lemon pepper seasoning — honestly, some of the best fries I’ve ever had. The seafood boil options are great — you can mix and match with 2, 3, or 4-pound combos that come with corn, potatoes, and extra free sides depending on your choice. Being able to do half-pound portions of different items was a big plus! We also had the garlic pasta (so good), and the fried seafood platter which had a mix of everything — the Cajun fries that came with it were amazing too. The seafood was super fresh and the Cajun sauce was packed with flavor. Definitely coming back, and highly recommend!

Was amazing. The seafood boil sauce was the perfect balance of spicy, oily, and salty. Had an amazing meal! The garlic noodles were great when eaten with the seafood boil sauce, and the lemon pepper fries tasted amazing. Fresh oysters were pricey, but loved the taste! So fresh and not fishy at all. Want to come back for $1 oyster Tuesdays!

I must say this is the first freshest cleanest darn good taste and seafood I’ve ever had. Hands down the place was very clean very own point chill vibe. They’re so seasoning perfect perfection And also to the waiter name: Sasisara Thank you for your patience and being an awesome person inside out and thank you for your choices. This overall experience was just perfect. I’ve never seen a bathroom that had utilities. If you wanted to brush your teeth to floss, they went up and beyond to accommodate their customers all the other restaurants needs to have this add more thank you. Keep up the excellent work there’s nothing more I could say.

ordered two 2lb bags with the fisherman platter. total was >$300. first of all, i don’t know when they stopped including potatoes sausages and corn but be aware they aren’t included anymore. one of the bags was lobster(~60/70) and king crab (which was ~115). only received 1 king crab leg which was cut in half to look like there were two legs which in my opinion still isn’t worth it. so i basically paid 115 for one leg. the lobster was super chewy. I usually get calamari but decided for the fisherman platter this time, the pieces of fish were so small and there were maybe three pieces of shrimp?i used to order from here for special occasions because they always served great portions but won’t be coming back. I don’t know if they changed management or something but not worth the price point.

I've been enjoying the food here silently for too long. The restaurant enjoys regular patronage. The service team here is remarkable! The dishes show dependable preparation. Thanks for providing exceptional service, having friendly staff and creating delicious food.

So last night I went to Cap't Loui in Fort Lee about 8:45. After eating Good and waiting for the check under my table was a rodent (mice). There was two other tables left eating. We were the last three tables there. I yelled n toss my feet up. The manager had the nerves to come drop the check on the table. My cousin told him he better take that check out of here. He came back with a check with a discount $27 off. I advised him the Health Department will be in contact became back with a $0 bill requesting we don't report them. Be careful

Ordered takeout for Mother's Day lunch to avoid the restaurant crowds and deeply regret it. We spent $140 on a seafood boil "for 4," and what we received was a salty, oily, overpriced mess that barely fed two people, let alone four. The crabs and shrimp were drowning in oil and tasted like someone dumped an entire salt shaker on them--on top of an already salty boil sauce. Completely inedible. The portion sizes were shocking. ONE small corn and ONE potato for a meal supposedly meant for four people? That's not just stingy--it's insulting. The garlic noodles and fries that came as sides were laughably small. For $140, I expected a hearty meal, not a few scraps tossed into a takeout bag. Quality has clearly gone downhill, and this is no way to treat customers--especially on a holiday. My family was left hungry and disappointed. A total waste of money. Never again.

Shrimp could be a bit more fresh Enjoyed the clams, mussels and snow crabs tho! Loved the garlic noodle side and the $1 oyster special on a Tuesday was amazing!

When I have that craving to throw on a bib, gloves and get down and dirty for some boiled seafood? Cracking and splashing gunk at the other guest? Yup it'll alwayssss be at Cap't Loui! Fish was crispy with a nice batter but not thicker than the fish itself which is great since you really get a lot of fish and not just batter. Cajun fries were nicely seasoned and crunchy. Fried shrimp was flavorful, does have the tails on. It's not for everyone but I love that crunch. I had the Mother's Day special which was a Whole Lobster, Snow Crab, Shrimp EZ Peel, Corn, Potato, Garlic Noodles And 2 Drinks for $111 YES!!!!! The lobster had all the yummy unhealthy guts and brains or poop or whatever it is in the head and I loved every piece of it! My group looked at me in disgust but screw them haha Oh and the tail was juicy and cooked perfectly! I've been to plenty of other seafood boil spots but here? It's just so cozy and the portions always seem so much more for pretty much the same price. Wish it was a tad closer to me cz I'm seriously debating to go again tomorrow for the Mother's Day deal and eat some more "guts" haha

This place is still the bees knees. I can't seem to get enough. Since my original review, I've tried some of the Lunch Specials. The Cajun Pasta was filling, but somehow spicier than the regular boil! I got "Medium" what I thought was going to be the same spice level as I'm used to, but my mouth was ON FIRE after a while. The waitress came up with the idea of adding butter (butter sauce?). It worked and I was able to enjoy the rest of my pasta. I also got a Lunch Special boil with head off shrimp and mussels. I got maybe five shrimp, like the bag looked sad by comparison to getting a full pound-o-seafood, but with the noodles, it was still satisfying. And finally I was able to get there on a Tuesday to enjoy the oyster special. I started with six, then had to commit to the full dozen. The oysters were fresh, and briny. I wanted more, but I'm sure one should only consume so many oysters in one sitting. Randomly, about the bathrooms, they offer cut lemons to get the seafood smell off your hands. In addition there's mouthwash, toothpaste and toothbrushes. All very considerate of their patrons possible particular needs!

Still the best pasta ever. I got the lunch special with shrimp and clams, and lemon pepper. Not that great, the sauce tasted kind of sweet. Get the Capt Loui sauce. Lunch with 6 shrimp and 6 clams was $19 and came with garlic noodles. The shrimp did not taste that good this time.

Awesome seafood boil! Oysters were on sale at $1 each and the best part is you can bring your own spirits to mix with their cocktails/special drinks!

I heard a lot of great things about this place. I had a good dining experience, but I don't understand all the hype. Yes, the seafood was fresh and flavorful. But... it didn't wow me. It didn't stand out to me compared to the other boil restaurants I've been to; it wasn't any better and it wasn't any worse. We came as a walk-in on a Saturday around 6pm. The wait was 25 minutes and they called us over to a table in ample time. This place is BUSY and packed so be prepared to wait for a bit. They have your standard boiler menu which also included fried seafood baskets, po'boy sandwiches, and oysters. They also have great deals for lunch specials. Seafood prices are MP and are charged by every 1/2 a pound or 1 pound. You then choose your sauce (2 choices, either lemon pepper or cajun blend), spice level (mild to extra hot), and your sides. They have boil combos where the more seafood you add, the more free sides you get (2 lbs = 1 free side, 3 lbs = 2 free sides). There's a catch though... you have to order it in ONE bag, not separate. You can't have one person order 1lb in their bag and another person order 1 lb in theirs... kinda silly since you're still ordering the same amount, just in separate bags. We ordered: -1/2 bag of calamari + 1/2 bag of clams +sausage with lemon and pepper sauce(mild) -1/2 bag of mussels + 1/2 bag of shrimp (head off) with cajun blend(mild) and garlic noodles -Strawberry Lemonade Capri Sun -Pina Colada Capri Sun First, let me just say... the Capri Sun drinks are a MUST! They are huge and the photos don't do it justice. The pina colada was a dream. So creamy, smooth, and sweet. The strawberry lemonade tasted more like strawberry juice but it was tasty nonetheless. As for the boil, all of the seafood was fresh, hot, and steamy. My favorites were the shrimp and mussels with the cajun blend. It also came with potatoes and corn. The side of garlic noodles was delicious and I inhaled them within minutes. For 2 pounds of seafood, two sides, and two drinks, the bill was around $70 which is reasonable and fair. I would dine here again and try out their lunch specials...and of course, I'm gonna need a Capri Sun!

I've been a loyal customer at Cap't Loui for nine years, but after my most recent experience, I won't be returning. I ordered the Pick 3 Boil Combo for $98, only to receive just ONE CORN and ONE POTATO. When I called to ask about this, the employee kept repeating that inflation had affected how many sides they include in the bag. First of all, customers should be informed upfront so we can decide whether or not to place an order. Second, it makes absolutely no sense that whether you order a Pick 1, Pick 2, Pick 3, or Pick 4 Combo, you still only get ONE POTATO and ONE CORN--that's ridiculous. To make matters worse, the employee I spoke with was rude, unprofessional, and had no interest in customer satisfaction. I've never had an issue here until now, but unfortunately, this experience was disappointing enough for me to take my business elsewhere. Cap't Loui should be ashamed of themselves. WHAT A DISGRACE!

Over priced. Ordered a lobster roll for 26+ dollars. Got handed a sorry looking sandwich and 18 French fries. Please don't waste your time.

Delicious and very tasty seafood. If you're craving seafood, put Cap't Loui near the very, very, very top of your list. My wife and I had not had Cajun seafood/boil in a long time and we found Cap't Loui at the recommendation of our fellow Yelpers...and boy did they come through. We dropped by on a Monday afternoon (specifically, solar eclipse Monday in the continental U.S.) and, surprisingly, they were decently busy with 6-8 tables occupied. We didn't do any research ahead of time, so it took us a good minute to figure out what to eat because after 1 glance at the entire menu, we wanted to order EVERYTHING, but, unfortunately our wallets could not afford it :(. Since it was lunch time, we both ordered the very reasonably priced lunch specials ($10.95 - $12.95 11:30 AM - 3:00 PM Mon-Fri) and also went off-lunch special and supplemented our meal with some side orders. Here's a quick rundown of what we got: Lunch Special 1: Mussels, Crawfish with Cap't Loui Sauce and Garlic Noodles Lunch Special 2: Clams, Shrimp head on with Capt' Loui Sauce and Corn & Potato 1/2 lb of Snow Crab 1/2 Dozen Oysters $16.95 Lobster Roll with Cajun Fries 2 Cap't Risun Drinks To sum it up, all FANTASTIC. The Cap't Loui Sauce on the food was so flavorful and, if you love Cajun flavors, this is definitely a spot hitter. The seafood was very fresh. We loved the mussels, clams and shrimp. The crawfish was a bit lacking in meat, so we probably wouldn't order it again, but it was slathered in that sauce, which made eating it still enjoyable. One of orders came with garlic noodles, which was a MASSIVE side. It easily could have fed 2. We ordered it separate from the sauce, so we had the choice to taste it alone and then, if we wanted, we could dump it into the bag of sauce (which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND doing!) All of the other seafood was great too - the raw oysters, snow crab and lobster roll. We might have went a little overboard because we hadn't had cajun/seafood in so long, but, like I said - IT WAS DELICIOUS. And don't forget to order a Cap't Risun too (a play on Capri Suns, except they give you a much bigger bag to drink from). Overall, great spot, plenty of tables and, most importantly, amazing food!

Lobster rolls are great. Good service. BYOB so brought a bottle of wine. Prices are high so a one time visit.

Whenever you go to a boil spot this is what you expect, unmistakably SEAFOOD. The Cajun flavor is spot on. The service is welcoming, friendly and accommodating plus adequately menu knowledgeable. They even assist you in choosing a boil to suit both your palate and appetite. Ambiance is straight forward BOIL SPOT and the seating arrangement is quite comfortable. Outdoor seating is not an option. This is your spot to go to and just GET CRABBIN. Yummy Tummy!

It was our 1st time trying this seafood boil in Fort Lee. It's a BYOB type of restaurant. The service is absolutely amazing, the food was heavenly, and the decor is very nice. The only issue we had were the tiny flies buzzing around the food. We will be back for more!

If you are looking for non-Asian food in the Fort Lee Main St area, then this is certainly one of the rare good options. It's a classic Cajun seafood boil place where you pick how much of each seafood item you want and they cook it and bring it to you all in one big plastic bag of goodness. We got the snow crab, mussels, shrimp, and calamari and they were all pretty fresh and tasty. The mussels in particular were larger than most I've seen. You can refer to my photo for the current market prices, which I think are reasonable. You can pick the sauce and spice level as well. I thought the lemon pepper sauce was just the right amount of flavor to elevate the seafood while keeping it fresh and not overpowering the taste. We also got sides of garlic noodles, sausages (which came with the seafood), and cole slaw. The sides were all kind of average in quality. The restaurant itself has a fairly large seating area and was pretty empty when we came for a Saturday lunch. They have a bunch of TVs on around in case you want a break from chowing down on your seafood. The place is clean and the bathrooms even have free mouthwash if your breath starts smelling too fishy. The staff are fairly friendly and the service speed is pretty quick. However, they didn't ask us if we were interested in any dessert and instead were a bit too quick to bring the check (without us asking for it). Overall though, I think Cap't Loui is a great option if you want something a bit different in Fort Lee and don't mind getting a little bit messy in order to enjoy some seafood.

This was the best seafood boil I have ever had it's so savoury the saucy was so good the portions are perfect they also come with sides and the atmosphere is very comfy I try going once a week it's the best and customer service is elite

The food here makes ordinary ingredients taste extraordinary. The style of the place worked well. Every employee contributes to the superior experience. Every non-sweet item impressed us, had great presentation and logical pairing. Hope this place satisfies you.

From my last review, you would know I love this place. It's so disappointing to experience bad service from a place you love. I came here the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and placed a big order for take-out. I broke it up into two orders. My first order was 4 lbs of seafood and I chose the garlic noodles, sausage, and broccoli as my add-ons. My second order was 3 lbs of seafood, and chose sausage and broccoli. The lady who was taking my order asked if I was planning to eat the food tomorrow (Thanksgiving Day). I said yes. She asked if I wanted the sauce on the side or on the food. I asked her what she recommends and she said on the side and I listened. Big mistake! When I got my order, there were three small paper containers holding the sauce. I was shock by the amount I received for such a big order. The containers weren't even filled to the top. The amount of sauce I received is nothing close to the amount they put in the bag when they make it. I went back in and asked for more sauce because the amount seems absolutely too little. She said one container is for the 3 lbs, and the two were the 4 lbs. Like what. That math doesn't make any sense. The 3 lbs should also get two sauces, and even then it wasn't enough. In order to get more, I had to pay additional $7 for another small container of the sauce. To spend $200 on seafood and still being told you need to pay for more sauce. When I got to my brother's place, my family and I ended up pouring the sauce over the food that night so all of the headache was for nothing. We also had to add water to the sauce just to have it cover all the meat. As we were doing that, I realized there was no broccoli!! Broccoli with the sauce is my favorite and to see no broccoli on BOTH my orders. WTF! The whole experience was so disheartening.

I had been eyeballing Cap't Loui for some time and finally decided to order it for dinner. I got a fish Po' Boy and a cup of Jambalaya. The Po' Boy was sensational. A nice portion of fried fish and delicious remoulade. The Jambalaya was also very good! Definitely on my short list.

One of my favorite seafood boil restaurant! The interior is super clean and they play fun cartoon shows on the TV. I came on a Saturday at 8 pm with a group of 8 people and they seated us right away without reservations. Every time I come here, the seafood boil sauce is so garlicy and good, it always makes me want to scoop the sauce. The service is always super speedy and everything comes out within 10 minutes. The waiters are super helpful if you need help opening up the crabs and offered to show us how to open it. The oysters taste fresh and yummy, a perfect way to start off the meal. The lobster roll are not the best I've had but the cajun fries are really good. The garlic noodles are a great addition to the seafood boil. It's cheezy and tastier when you dip in the sauce. Definitely one of the best seafood boils you need to try once!

I love seafood boil, but I unfortunately didn't really enjoy the food here. The taste of everything was only okay, and I've had much better seafood boil elsewhere. The cajun fries and garlic noodles were both kind of sweet, which was a little weird because I was expecting something salty/savory. I got the medium cap't loui sauce for the seafood boil but it wasn't super flavorful. The shrimp, calamari, and mussels were good, but the snow crab didn't taste fresh and the meat was also pretty dry. The corn was also overcooked and too soft, but the potatoes were actually really good. The service here was really good and the staff were friendly/attentive. We made a reservation ahead of time, but there's a good amount of seating so I'm assuming the wait wouldn't be too long if you walk in.

This place is delicious. Can't wait to go back! If you're not sure what to order they have combos where you mix and match the seafood by pounds. Everything we got was fresh and hot. The service was on point - they even poured my 2nd coke because my gloves were all sauced up. Notable things to get: their garlic noodles. Gives you a break from the spice. The sausage in the boil - adds a new depth of flavor. Hubby and I spent $150 with tip and we left stuffed!

It was my friends first time at this Cap't Loui and our waiter Trey took time with my party in explaining the menu to us. The food was delicious! The snow crabs were my fav and the garlic noodles. The clams and mussels weren't small which was a plus. Everything was delicious! We ordered the 4lb bag to share. This was also really affordable for my group. Thanks Cap't Loui for a great time! Just don't forget it's a BYOB establishment.

This place is so yummy!! It's hard to find a good boil spot. And it's close to my home which makes it even better. My husband and I ordered a boiler combo with slow crab , shrimp and added sausage. The bags come with two pieces of corn and potato. And we also got a fried shrimp basket which was also delicious. Everything was amazing! The great thing about this place is you don't leave feeling stuffed but your content and not hungry anymore. I can't wait to come back! Our waitress was very nice as well.

I came here with my friends to try seafood boil for the first time. The staff here are all very friendly and accommodating, and it wasn't too busy on a Saturday afternoon. We got the Boiler Combo and picked four pounds of seafood. We got crawfish, calamari, and clams with 3 free sides. The seafood is all market price. Each order of seafood also comes with corn and potatoes. My favorite was definitely the crawfish, it was my first time getting it and thought it was delicious. The Cap't Loui sauce was flavorful with the spicy level as hot, I didn't find it too spicy but if you are not good with spice, I'd definitely recommend mild or medium. Overall, I'll recommend this place to all seafood lovers! It's a great experience with friends and not too expensive if you split the price.

Seafood was great, the taste of the sauce was 10/10 and snow crabs were cooked perfectly. Place although is a little small for our liking, seating arrangement is side by side each table with barely space in between. Will need to try the Montclair location as well. Food: 10/10 Service: 7.5/10 (Order was wrong, was given Calamari instead of Crawfish even after repeating order and was still charged for it even though we didn't eat it.) Ambiance: 7/10 Small place, so it does get a bit loud and you can hear most of the conversations going on.

How have I never ordered from here before? I recently had a strong craving for fried calamari and I saw that Cap't Loui offered a calamari basket with fries. My fiance had ordered a similar seafood basket from Jack's Lobster shack a while back, which was just OK, but this was next level good. My meal was five stars. I'll also note that they sell a calamari po'boy, which I found pretty intriguing since I usually only see po'boys with shrimp or oysters. Their seafood baskets are reasonably priced and come with a large portion. The meal also came with coleslaw, tartar sauce and remoulade.The cole slaw was a little sweet, but with a dash of salt it was perfect. Everything else was delicious. The fries were probably my favorite part. I opted for the regular fries over the Cajun fries. There were sooo crispy, which is how I like them. Probably my favorite part of the whole meal. I will def order again.

The seafood boil here always hits the capt loui sauce is, chefs kiss. The flavor is always on point, and love the generous amount of garlic. The only thing I will say is sometimes depending on which seafood you choose because they cook it so hot the seafood can sometimes be overcooked and not tender and juicy anymore but dry. But it really depends on which seafood you get, (that was the case when I got crawfish) otherwise a really solid place for seafood boil!

The food was NO CAP't Loui DELICIOUSSSS! We demolished everything and the shirley temple was so good. We got a hefty portion, 3lb was more than enough for 3 ppl. The Seafood boil sauce is so flavorful, dipping the crabmeat every bite is a must! The aesthetic of the restaurant is also very pretty. I love that they provide toothbrushes and mouthwash in the bathroom. The people are friendly and attentive!

Capt Loui's seafood boil is so good--flavorful, spicy, and cooked perfectly every time. I've never been to another seafood boil place, so I can't say if there's better out there, but it's definitely worth visiting. Their Capesun drinks are delectable and super sweet, a perfect match for the spice. The mussels and crabs are always cooked just right, never over or underdone. If you're craving a good seafood boil, this place won't disappoint! Staff is so nice too!!

Love coming here on a Tuesday for the dollar oysters, byob !! Delicious seafood heads up always a full house to make a reservation.

I was in the area and my friend told me this place was really good so let me tell you about it. AMAZING!!!!!!!! The king crab legs and shrimp were absolutely delicious. The seasoning was on point and the fish was very fresh. I wish they had one in queens ! If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely come back here. The only thing is that it was very messy but that's okay because the food was tasty and it was worth it. I want to come back again

This place has really fallen off the years. When the place opened up really enjoyed how they gave you unlimited garlic noodles, now it costs $2.50 for each portion. Overall the prices have just hiked up over the years and them just removing one of their main free services is a huge downer. Everything but the Lobster and Crawfish used to have set prices, now the entire menu is MP. I know they can't control supply issues, but just don't think place is worth the price anymore. Food is still good, but rationing garlic noodles unless you want to spend $4 per order to keep getting more makes me nostalgic of the pre-covid years.

The food was not tasty whatsoever. I travel around the world and states and the food has no taste and I was deeply disappointed with the taste of food.

We ordered pick four lb with 3 sides for free for five people it was a plenty of food and we well enjoyed it! We even had leftovers. Cajon fries highly recommended!!! The service was good too the ambiance seems chill and a good place to hangout with your friends. Remember this place is BYOB! You will never regret!

We went on a Friday at around 7:30pm and had to wait about 20 minutes. The place was very busy and as soon as I tried the boil I understood the hype over the place! We got the pick 3 combo with a pound of snow crab, pound of shrimp head off, and pound of crawfish live. For our free sides we got garlic noodles and sausage. We did the Cap't Loui sauce at medium spice. This was the perfect amount of spicy for us. The cajun seasoning was mouth watering making everything in the boil taste amazing. Pick 3 was a good amount for two people but we didn't finish it so brought the rest home. I'm excited to eat the rest today!!! Everything was so flavorful. We will most definitely be coming back!! 10/10 recommend if you like seafood

We passed this Little location a few times. Finally we decided to try it. Staff Extremely Friendly and Attentive. We decided on Pick 3 Combo of Lobster Tail, Snow Crab Legs, Clams and selected Shrimp as our Free addition. Added a side of Garlic Noodles. Seafood Boil with very Tasty and savory. Noodles was a great addition. **** Wanted Bread to dip the bread in the remaining sauce on the bottom of the bag**** The Cap't Loui seasoning was delicious. Portions was decent to the pound ratio. The selection was enough for the two of us. If your in the area. It's a MUST TRY... We will definitely be back.

Craving something spicy & southern. A must place in Fort Lee, and so glad to be back amid the end of pandemic. There were 4 of us and the orders were : Choose your seafood - Pick 4 1) 2 snow crabs - Very dry 2) Head-off shrimps 3) Clams Sides in the bag 1) Sausages ($5.95) 2) Potatoes ($2.95) 3) Corns ($2.95) - Small & dry Free lobster with Pick 4 & 2 garlic noodles Huge meal for 4 girls and the bill came to $127. Medium spiciness was the eight amount, tingling and very garlicky. However, the only downside is that the sauce is too salty. Garlic noodle is salty. Just wish we could bring the sodium level down. The quality of the seafood itself was a bit dry ....but again, I should not be asking for freshness of a seaside buffet, right ???

Wow! Super yum! I think this place has the best seafood boil seasoning I've ever had. Their Cap't Loui sauce is incredibly delicious. Very flavorful and loaded with that garlicky goodness. And instead of your usual corn and hotdogs, you can get noddles in the bag to go with all that heavenly sauce. We also got the fish and chips basket and the fried soft shell crabs and those were delicious as well! And the portion is huge and comes with some yummy sauces and a side of Cole slaw. I cannot think of anything bad to say about this place besides maybe that they don't serve liquor? The waiter is also very friendly but I asked him if the soft shell crab is breaded and he said no but it was very breaded lol. Overall, an awesome place if you crave for seafood

Best lobster roll ever ! It was huge with plenty of lobster and their fries were very good. Very crispy and different in a good way. Will be ordering again!

I came back to visit the store again after they are done with their renovation, I was amazed with their new look , giving a very warm and welcome vibe. Staff were so welcoming and providing the best service. It was worth it to wait . If you are looking for a seafood boiled place. This is my number one choice on the list . Cap't Loui Fort Lee

Food is delicious and service is excellent. Place is a bit small in the front but inside is actually comfortable and well spaced. Although their coleslaw needs some acidity, not sure if this is their own take, it more tasted as a cabbage salad. The lights are nice but needs some dusting and some cobwebs on it, taking off 1 star for these.

THIS SEAFOOD BOIL IS GREAT!!! You have to try the Cap't Loui sauce, it's the perfect blend of seasoning and very spicy just like I like it. The spice level is hotter than most, thankfully I was aware of this from previous reviews but the very slight sweetness gives the perfect taste. I've visited this location a few times, parking is extremely difficult but I've gotten lucky a time or two. The restaurant is relatively small but very popular so reservations are best if you have a specific time to go. They are BYOB so that's a plus! The menu is hand written on a chalk board with the daily prices since they can change due to the market price. I stick to the snow crab legs and shrimp (head off). I utilize the specials depending what my group wants do we can get a free item. The crab cluster size is consistent and eating them can get messy so expect to use the gloves and bib that they provide.. The restaurant is currently at statewide 25% capacity due to Covid but since the restaurant is already small it looks pretty cramped with patrons eating and drinking close to the entrance. To go orders are also pretty easy since you can order and pay online and pick up at the counter. I'm glad this was an option. Can't wait to indulge more!

I don't think I could complain about anything because everything (minus the crawfish lol) was so delicious. The downside is how expensive it is for only 2 people to eat until full. My bf and I got the pick 4 which came with free lobster or snow crab. We also added 2 additional sides. We got 2 shrimp, 1 crawfish, 1 king crab, and the free snow crab (this all comes with potatoes and corn and we chose the cap't loui sauce). We added a side of fried and sausage. All of this came out to around $115 without tip. Also the level of spice we got was the "spicy" one and it was not spicy at all. I think next time Ill go with extra hot. Overall, the food was delicious and the place was nicely decorated. Definitely wear some clothes you dont mind getting a little dirty and not a white shirt like me
