If you’re a diver, Captain Don’s is the PLACE! Accommodations are good, the beds are actually comfortable, the entire resort is clean and tidy (especially for Bonaire). They have the best house reef and the BEST entry/exit/setup/takedown situation of all the resorts we have visited here. If you dive, stay here. The TDS shop is also amazing. Rental situation is awesome. Staff are super friendly and helpful. We stay here several times a year and bring friends and family that love it too! We even brought our baby and they were more than accommodating with a pack n play already setup. I think that says more about how great the staff are than just the act itself! Lunch at Rum Runners is good and dinner is decent depending on the night. Always a good backup though if you don’t have any other dinner plans.

What is there to say about Capt Don's that hasn't been said? If you want convenient diving with a professional, friendly staff, this is it. ||The three boats go out two or three times a day, 8:30, 11:00 and 2:00. You sign up the day prior, show up with your gear for the first trip out, and you are diving all day! There is a great dive shop that can apparently fix anything. The crews are very relaxed, very experienced, and fun to be around.||The hotel accommodations are good, very clean, and comfortable.||Buy the breakfast package for your stay. It's not only good, it's very convenient. The restaurant is good and the bar tenders are outstanding!||If you have never been diving in Bonaire, you should make the trip. The reefs are very healthy, creatures are everywhere, and the boat ride from the dock is normally ten or so minutes. I have never been in a place where I knew that each dive was going to be special, and Capt. Don's hotel/restaurant/dive shop/dock/staff make it easy to enjoy every minute.

Captain Don’s is the best place to stay if you’re a diver. All of the facilities are in great locations to grab a tank, get your stuff ready, and rinse it after. They have lots of options to go on a boat dive as well. The crews and staff are all super friendly and you can tell they’re making a conscious effort for you to have the best experience possible. Rooms are spacious and clean, water is hot in the showers, and the beds are actually comfortable! They even had a pack n play for our baby already setup upon arrival. We love staying here and do it every year! Would even bring the baby back it was super. A good experience! We’ve tried other dive resorts on the island and have not found a better combo of diving ease, an amazing house reef, quality service, and good accommodations.

Everybody at the resort was wonderful. The dive shop crew is very helpful and assisting with suggestions for shore dives. The house reef was beautiful.. food was great drinks were delicious. If you have a chance, get the loaded sweet potato fries those were so good. I have no complaints. I would encourage you to get to the eggs at 7 o’clock.

There is not much else you need. Great house reef, always tanks available, along with a dive shop. Very friendly staff, helpful and made us feel right at home. We stayed 2 weeks, and did boat dives with the team, Jack, Sherman, Marco, Lars, Justin and Whitley. All were great to hang with as well as provided excellent resources, tips and guides. We were also welcomed by the orange shop cat, Boose. Rooms were great, simple, but effective, and the pool was a nice spot to hang on non- dive day.

Diving is easier here than anywhere we’ve traveled to. We’ve stayed here already did times in the past few years. We’ve checked out other rice resorts around but this seems to be the most convenient. Rooms are clean, cool, great water pressure and hot water. Staff is so friendly and accommodating. We had the best dive masters! Highly recommend!

We love Captain Don’s in every way: the location is perfect, but it’s really the people who are top notch. Both the room and dive staff are kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. This is our second year of staying and diving here, and we will keep returning. Can’t beat this place as an ideal location for diving Bonaire—great for boat and shore diving alike. Thank you, Captain Don’s! Until next time!

We Love Captain Dons Habitat! We stay here every time we come. The accommodations are great for a dive trip. The diving facilities and the staff are amazing. And the diving is superb. The dive staff is always so great to work with and very attentive to all of our needs.
