Low Comedy lounge

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this comedy venue, it was an all around fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, the warm welcome, family feel atmosphere, and great hospitality stood out. The team was genuinely invested in making sure the guest, to include my brother and I felt welcomed and comfortable. I also appreciated the opportunity to provide feedback, it was refreshing to see how open and receptive the team was to exhibiting a level of care to enhance the experience. A special shout out to Mr. Kirk, whose vision and dedication clearly shines through the culture of the venue. A night of great vibes!!! I will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone seeking top tier comedy/events in a welcoming environment.

I must say this is the most spacious places to host events of any kind. Newly built. Great ambiance. A lot of talent and celebrities has walked through the door of this venue. It’s an amazing comedy club. The owner Kirk is very accommodating to any and everyone. This is a very diverse establishment. Plus this is the home of his amazing rum punch. Make sure you put in your orders it goes fast.

The show was dope. But this is a hole in the wall. I would show pics but thats not allowed. You are forced to pay an additional amount of 20 dollars a person for drinks/food. I didn't know that coming in. I wouldn't have booked. My husband and I are only water drinks with a regimented diet. If people wanted to just watch the show, they should be able to do that. If you aren't familiar with the area....go earlier than the time listed. Parking is a mess. You are going to have to wait on a long line outside. The purpose of arriving early is for better seats. I arrived 30 minutes late and didn't watch much of the show because I was behing a column. The seating is trash. Its just cheap folded seats. Women, if you are the type to dress nice and wear heels, I want you to keep in mind that upon entering there is flight if stairs you have to go down and its steep. Soooo please keep that in mind.

Beautiful well manicured venue! Next trip to Capt. Kirk's I'm needing some rum punch.. The owner is very kind and personable~ the vibe is top tier... Think your home away from home... Will definitely return and tell all my friends.

Doors were supposed to open at 6:30pm and didn't open until 7:10pm. The outside temperature was below 30 degrees. Charge for cover upfront and serve drinks were subpar. Charged extra $5 for bottle shelf Hennessy. Phones were locked in Faraday bags until the end of the show to avoid taking pictures. DJ could have been better.

This was my first time seeing a venue here. My wife & I are Huge Marc Viera fans. It just so happened that his show & Valentine’s Day all came together nicely for a fun date night. I have been to all the Old School Comedy spots in Bklyn, Queens, L.I., Manhattan, Harlem, & the Bx from back in the 90’s until they were no more. I am so happy to see this Young King (Owner of Caprain Kirk’s) has brought it all back full circle & made a place where everyone from all backgrounds can come out & have a good laugh together. Th DJ made it feel like a club & definitely was rockin’! Marc Viera & his MC Big Rhed brought my wife & I to tears & belly pains from laughing so hard. If you have never been to the point of, “I can’t laugh anymore bc it hurts.”, then you cannot relate. But! You need to! It hurts so good to laugh, especially with all the things that pains us outside in the real world. I would definitely slide through for another show. Ticket prices are just right. The bar can use a step up in drink choices, but we are there to laugh..Not to get drunk. Having complimentary food is a bonus. If you have not seen Marc Viera, please check him out in your socials. All the NY Kings of Comedy (Marc, Capone, Rob Stapleton, Talent) are so hilarious!! Don’t laugh too hard tho..you may hurt yourseld. Hahaaa!!!!!

Love the place, the treatment is wonderful the staff excellent. The owner was on point with everything, felt safe there was security making sure we was ok. I will definitely be going to the next show.

It is a beautiful establishment. The owner was so humble and very welcoming. It was easy to get to as well. I would definitely come back for another show.
