Before planning your visit, it's important to note that tours must be booked in advance by calling ahead; walk-ins are not possible. Now, onto my experience: I recently visited the Captain Morgan Rum Distillery on St. Croix, and it was a fabulous experience! For just $15 per person, you get access to newly renovated rooms and an engaging exhibition about the brand's history. Although there isn't a distillery tour, the presentation about the product process was informative and entertaining. The highlight was the tasting room, where you get to sample four different rums. The variety offered a great insight into the brand's craftsmanship and flavor profiles. The gift shop was a pleasant surprise with reasonable prices, and I'm excited to hear they plan to open a restaurant soon, which will undoubtedly enhance the overall experience. Can't wait to visit again and explore even more!

Rum history and lesson and samples Food - I am surprisingly impressed with some of the smooth flavors of the samples that provided. My favorite was the dark because it offers a little complexity - just a little. Can't get much from a $20 bottle. Atmosphere - clean and organized. they had nice set up for tours. Looks recently remodeled and upgraded. You can even rent for private events. Cost - $15 per person. May be a little pricey, but it probably doesn't cover the cost to maintain the space for tours and the staffing. You do get what amounts to a couple of shots so that's something. Service - we had a great tour guide. She may be the only one, but she says she's worked there for 20 years.

Came here for a distillery tour and a rum souvenir. Only to be told they’re out of all specialty rums we tried as well as all the samples and gifts. Instead we were offered a branded wooden hockey puck as consolation.

The experience was lackluster and underwhelming. I did learn a lot about the history and processes at the Captain Morgan Rum Distillery. I was expecting to see more for $15.

This is a must do in St Croix!! Very cheap rum you can buy here. It's like a 1/5 the price of in Australia. This is a more modern distillery where you will sit in a carriage like car and you will be driven around while speakers tell you about this place. They have a souvenir shop there too.

Good quick stop to see where it’s made. Most modern place on the island. Plenty of parking, space for events and a nice souvenir shop. Friendly staff and of course … rum!
