Captain Pipinos Seafood Taverna

Loved the food here. And the location. The service and getting a table was a little tricky but once we were in place it was great (special shout out to Mahmud who was extra efficient and charming). All the food was a small step above all the classics, even the great leveller: Greek salad. But the 'would travel across the island for' extra special dish is the octopus orzo. Wow. And the mussels were fab and fat and juicy. And this corner of the island is the quietest and the most beautiful.

How do I express my love and appreciation for this wonderful taverna that has fed us on many a windy night in Antiparos? Their seafood is excellent to say the least, paired with a glass of white wine and you are set for a fulfilling evening of great food, and enjoying the pristine water as the sunset casts a warm glow over the island. Pipinos has been around for many years so they know what they are doing. We usually order the fried squid, mussels in white wine, saganaki and tzatziki to top things off, and they have consistently delivered every year. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Perfect. On the water. Stunning views in all directions. Get shrimp saganaki, grilled whole fish, fried calamari, fava bean pure, and Greek salad. Drink an ouzo with ice and water. Breathe. Be thankful you made it here. What a life!

Great views. Super quick service. Friendly server Labis who gave good food recommendation with smile and humour-:) We ordered seafood risotto which was delicious. The dips are a must!

It’s my second time at Pipino’s and I probably surpassed my previous experience. Primarily because finding a table on the 15th of August is a straight miracle and secondly because every dish was so on point. I mean, look at the red mullets!

Our group had mixed experiences with the food, I enjoyed the grilled seabass and the eggplant dip was a big hit. Portions were small, and we have certainly had better meals for less money. It felt quite touristy. But the view was immaculate. Could not have asked for a better place to watch the sunset. If you go in with proper expectations I think you will enjoy yourself.

I come to Greece for visit, suddenly i find such a beautiful place in Antiparos. Everyone mention for food Captain pipinos restaurant. I went there in Captain pipinos. I will recommended very best food ever i try. The service was so Wonderful, everyone so polite. I try 5 dishes and every dishes was so delicious. Very testable food were fresh sea bas fish from the sea. I am Very happy with there service. I will try to come there onces Again.

Food was good but not wow. I think this place is a bit over hyped. We tried Greek salad, Sardines, fried squid, & mussels. Steamed Mussels were the best of them all. I downgraded the review to 1 star as we had food poisoning post this lunch !
