I was first at Captiva Island and a couple of years ago prior to Hurricane Ian. It was by far one of the most magical beaches I had ever seen. I love the locals, shops and atmosphere. We returned about three weeks ago. Although it looks nothing like it used to after 2 devastating storms, it is still magical and beautiful. It's a recommended place to go if you've never been. Make sure to support the businesses. The good people in this area deserve it.

Fabulous beaches with gorgeous water! Beautiful homes and a fun drive. We went in the off season on a Tuesday afternoon and it was a little difficult to find parking so I would recommend going a little earlier in the day. We loved the area so much that I would consider buying a home here in the future! Enjoy 😎🌴

Nothing special and no parking at all for non residents or people just passing by like us. There are more beautiful islands and beaches in FL than this place.

A place to relax. Beautiful beaches, clear water, Shelling is a must, outstanding sunset. Restaurants closet at 9PM, no nightlife. Parking can be a challenge.

This place is a little piece of old Florida paradise! The north end is accessible by boat only and has a nice little tiki bar with cold drinks, food, a great staff, and a swimming pool. The island is still in the recovery process from the last big hurricane and has a lot of clean up and repairs in progress. It's definitely worth the boat trip for the day from some relaxation, and fishing is amazing!!!

The island is very beautiful, amazing sunset. However, the structure for visitors is not the best compared to Sanibel, for example. $25 for 2 hours parking seems excessive and no decent public restrooms. If you decide to stay for the sunset, bring some repellent otherwise small mosquitos may interfere with the amazing view.

Captiva is beautiful but every beach on Sanabel island is amazing for me was no difference The only thing I would say about Captiva amazing sunset but very hard very hard to find parking and super expensive two hours $25
