Captiva Island

Well, it's a big island. Like Sanibel, Gasparilla etc, lots of white sand and shells. Canals and mangroves where you can use the boat. The noseeums are pretty annoying in the night so, don't forget the bugs pray

Fabulous beaches with gorgeous water! Beautiful homes and a fun drive. We went in the off season on a Tuesday afternoon and it was a little difficult to find parking so I would recommend going a little earlier in the day. We loved the area so much that I would consider buying a home here in the future! Enjoy 😎🌴

I was first at Captiva Island and a couple of years ago prior to Hurricane Ian. It was by far one of the most magical beaches I had ever seen. I love the locals, shops and atmosphere. We returned about three weeks ago. Although it looks nothing like it used to after 2 devastating storms, it is still magical and beautiful. It's a recommended place to go if you've never been. Make sure to support the businesses. The good people in this area deserve it.

Beautiful place, cold and rainy the day we visited, I can only imagine how nice it would be when warm.
