Two years ago, I spent two unforgettable weeks here—eating, sleeping, and diving. The memories were so good that I decided to come back, and this year I stayed for one week. Still, it felt far too short.
For divers, this place has a huge advantage: everything you need is in one location. From local Filipino favorites like tapsilog and bulalo to Western dishes such as burgers and steaks, the food is consistently delicious. The second-floor railing tables with an ocean view are especially special—you get to enjoy great food and a beautiful seascape at the same time.
The guiding by the three local divers—Kexia, Andoy, and Ruby—was absolutely excellent. They thoughtfully divided groups based on each diver’s experience and skill level, choosing dive sites accordingly. They listened carefully to every request and genuinely tried their best to accommodate all needs.
The accommodation is also well designed for divers. There are three sea-view rooms on the second floor near the restaurant, two rooms on the ground floor close to the dive shop, four rooms on the rooftop, and one more behind the restaurant—a total of ten affordable rooms. As long as the restaurant is open, you can ask for almost anything.
Everything about this place is outstanding.
There’s just one thing to be careful about: the drink called “juice”—because what sounds like juice is actually a very strong gin juice 😄
Highly recommended, and I’m sure I’ll be back again.
