Caramba Bar & Grill

Went here on a Saturday evening after leaving a meeting in the city. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. The staff were attentive caring. The service was excellent, however the food needs work. Had the calamari as an appetizer, it tasted similar to the frozen microwaveable you get in a supermarket. For the main course I had the shrimp mofongo. There was hardly any shrimp and the plantains were hard and overcooked. Then they drowned the whole thing in a plate of sauce. The food needs a great deal of work. The drinks and the other hand were on point. All in all I was disappointed in the food, but the service and the whole atmosphere made me overlook that and enjoyed the night. I would like to try this place again to see how they evolve.

Not solo traveler friendly. I could’ve sworn there were women my age working there (in their 20’s or so) pimped out to way older men. Very unsettling and not comfortable at all being alone. Was looking for a shot and a beer, A shot of vodka (ketel one) was 15 dollars! the beer however was $5 which was fine. However, the feeling of these girls cuddling with this man in their 60’s made me extremely uncomfortable. Sad. Not coming back.

The happy hour prices are great and the drinks are pretty strong. Ordered the garlic wings and they were very good. The tacos & hangover platter were okay, but the wings made up for it. The vibe here is fun, local, & welcoming.

The place was empty when i went i was expecting to partake in the happy hour that is advertised in on of the pictures but that was not the case . They no longer participate in happy hour. Also didnt tell us it was cash only until after we finished eating. Then tried to persuade us to use their atm which had a 4.50 fee but other than that The food was great also had great prices.

This spot is so good, drinks are great! Our waitress was so good her name started with a J (totally forgot). She was so attentive & made great suggestions! The food was good, not amazing! The flavor was great but it wasn’t WOW. The hookah was good & overall I would come here again! Chicken mofonguitos were bomb!

I’ve been waiting almost a hour for food here and still not ready then get it a hour & 20 mins later and the food taste cold nasty and watered down the drinks a nasty and water down they charge all this money for their services when they can’t even bring me my shrimp tacos I’ve ordered my food with someone and the order still taking long i will never come back to this location again if you here for food then this isn’t the place for you even for take out this is definitely insane

I really like this place. They also have live music sometimes and the artistic look of the walls are awesome. The beers are cold and the staff is very kind

Went here for a happy hour on a Wednesday. Got there at around 5 the place was fairly empty. Over time it started to liven up. The music was good the Shrimp Tacos were slamming! The margarita was okay. My only complaint is that I was waiting soooo long to place my orders and a man who visibly came AFTER me was taken care of BEFORE me for reasons unknown. I mentioned it to the waiter and she told me that she knew and it was her first day and bla bla bla.... Oh also, for some odd reason there was an extra fee for the food and drinks... Then an extra fee for using a card...

so i'm writing this review as i'm sitting here for the best review . i came in and they said sit anywhere which was good or i thought. i ordered coconut mojito and regular from the happy hour pitcher $35 each. the hookah was $30 but they only accept cash for it they do have an ATM in the back but it's $4.50 to use it they use the circle coals which burn out fast i ordered wings and calamari. The calamari is small little rings it taste like they were frozen from the supermarket freezer aisle the wings are good they do have a grade A.The atmosphere is great they have like 8 screens and the DJ is on point they had 2 a make and female.The female was better to me she got me out my seat .They did tell us after 30 minutes into our meal our table is reserved for someone else which i thought was rude because we had to move everything food, drinks and hookah.the hookah they don't change the coal they change the whole head that's $20. they don't come check on you for anything hookah drinks you have to catch someone passing to tell them to send somebody for hookah refill shots any extra food. The workers are really nice tho
