Carana Beach Hotel

This is a well run and super nice boutique hotel a location that is close to paradise. ||The rooms are modern and very spacious with a large comfortable bed. Shower is good, but not fantastic. The hotel however will fix this and their respons was professional. But let me continue regarding the room: outside there is a seating area with plenty of shade, a daybed and a table. ||The pool area is wonderfull and the sun beds are very comfortable. They serve a nice lunch and the menu is rich. ||Dinner is in one word splendid. If you book half board you don’t have this standard buffet most other hotels offer, but a four course dinner with good options. Staff is amazing and alert. ||If you are looking for a high standard 4 star boutique hotel, don’t look further and book this! Yes it is not 5 star (that we also like) but very charming in its own right. We will go back!

We spent four unforgettable days at Carana Beach Hotel on Mahé – and absolutely loved it! The setting is stunning, with beautifully designed rooms and a breathtaking view of the ocean. The beach feels like a private paradise – quiet, clean, and incredibly peaceful. The pool is perfectly located right by the sea, ideal for relaxing with a view. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and attentive. A special highlight was the food – every meal was outstanding, fresh, and full of flavor. The cocktails were also excellent! We especially appreciated that the hotel manager was present every day, personally checking in with guests and making sure everything was perfect – a rare and very positive touch. We highly recommend Carana Beach Hotel and would return in a heartbeat. A true gem on the Seychelles!

We stayed here in March this year and we absolutely loved it. It was only a short stay and wish it could have lasted longer. The room was lovely and very comfortable, the views over the ocean and the sunrises were stunning. The beach with granite boulders were a little paradise. Although we did not dare to swim with the strong waves. The pool was just lovely as well, from were we saw turtles swimming in the ocean. At the end of the day it was just amazing to sit down at the pool bar to enjoy a drink before heading upstairs for a lovely meal. And did I mention the staff.. the were the best! All very friendly and helpful :-)

Nice hotel friendly staff, receptiin staff let the side down a bit with reluctance to change currency and lacked local knowledge. The restaurant staff on the other hand were excelkent, food excellent. The rooms/lodges are spacious and private. The pool area was looking tired and dirty in places ( over at the rocks) the beach is nice but hss very big waves and currents expect a few wipe outs during your stay. The local rep arranged to meet us on day 2 and didnt turn up. Not sure its the best value for the price.

Carana Beach Hotel is the most wonderful place we have ever visited. Everything was great — the food was creative and amazing, the rooms were beautifully designed and clean, and the staff was wonderful. The whole place has such a good vibe. Moreover, the hotel is surrounded by a beautiful garden and is committed to keeping the area green and promoting biodiversity. Not to mention the beach, which is quiet and offers an amazing sunset 🏝️🌺

We spending our 2 weeks honeymoon here. We highly recommend the hotel. The rooms are super clean and well equiped with a beautiful view. Like in the pictures on the website. The food was delicious. The staff is really friendly and helpful. We are especially thankful for the help with my wife's food allergy. Both the waiters and the chefs helped a lot.

Our modern villa offered stunning ocean views, a private terrace, and a pool – pure relaxation.||The villas are well laid out: higher numbers are closer to the beach and restaurant, lower numbers are quieter.||The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The restaurant was a real highlight with a great mix of international and Creole dishes, including vegetarian options – dining elsewhere wouldn’t compare.||Evenings often feature live music (Creole or jazz), and the breakfast was varied and delicious.||Highly recommended – we’d love to come back!

5 Stars – An Unforgettable Stay! We had a wonderful time at the Carana Hotel in Mahé! The accommodation was very clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated – the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Seychelles. The food was excellent, with great variety and fresh ingredients. We especially want to highlight the incredibly friendly and dedicated staff. A big thank you to Cindy and Sandra from the service team – always attentive and kind, Marco, the General Manager, for his professional and welcoming presence, and Francesca, the lovely gardener, who keeps the grounds so beautiful and vibrant. You all truly made our stay special! We would love to come back and can highly recommend the Carana Hotel!
