Caravelle Hotel

We had an almost five-star experience at this property and truly enjoyed our stay. Although we encountered some difficulties with booking confirmation prior to arrival, the backend team from Reservations and Sales was very helpful and responsive throughout our email correspondence. We booked a room with Signature Lounge Premium access, and our family spent many enjoyable moments there. Breakfast and sunset cocktails at the lounge were definitely highlights of our stay. Special thanks to Nam, Kim, and the entire team for remembering us and taking such great care of us from check-in to check-out. The location is incredibly convenient, right in the heart of District 1. Traveling around by Grab, especially with seniors, was very easy, with most destinations within a five-minute drive. We also booked the New Year’s Eve buffet dinner at the rooftop venue (Events@26), which offered an amazing cityscape view. The fireworks along the riverside lasted nearly 15 minutes and were absolutely spectacular. Despite being an outdoor event, the weather was pleasant and surprisingly cool throughout the evening. Thank you to Uyen for patiently answering our endless questions. We also appreciated the restaurant recommendations from the concierge team, especially Tung (and another lovely lady whose name I unfortunately can’t recall). Overall, it was a wonderful stay and a fantastic way to kick-start a brand new year. Highly recommended to all.

Finally made it to this hotel for our 7 day honeymoon and it’s been truly awesome as we have the Opera wing. If you expect the modern instagram pretentious glam of a 5 star hotel, this is not for you. I love its authentic and old glamour vibe, being a Saigon native myself. It just feels nice without being unnecessarily extra. We’ll definitely come back.

Only stayed for one night unfortunately as the hotel and staff were top notch. In the absolute heart of Ben Nghe area right next to the impressive opera house. Lucky enough to stay in an executive room and have access to the lounge on the 9th floor. The staff couldn't be more helpful or friendly. Would highly recommend.

We stayed 2 nights recently, the location is really good, the room was very comfortable, the pool was good if a bit busy, breakfast buffet was good. The check in and check out was efficient but could have been friendlier. We would definitely stay again.

Overall, the hotel itself is good. The facilities are clean and well maintained, the room was comfortable, and the location is convenient. Most of the staff were polite and professional, which made the stay generally pleasant. However, my experience at check-in on 14/12/2025 was extremely disappointing due to the male receptionist who handled room 1819. His attitude was unprofessional, unfriendly, and dismissive. There was a clear lack of basic courtesy and hospitality, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. His behavior significantly affected my first impression and overall experience, despite the hotel’s otherwise good quality. I strongly suggest the hotel management review this incident and provide proper service training, as one staff member’s attitude can easily overshadow all the positives of an otherwise good hotel.

Mouldy smelling room gave us allergy related symptoms. Beware the airport pickup - way more expensive than getting a grab or other hotel transfers. Like about 8 times the price! Breakfast was great - no problems there. Great location. Great view from room.

After an enjoyable previous stay during 2024, my wife and I once again visited the Caravelle Saigon during the first half of November 2025. Once again we were treated to a first rate experience. Everything that we loved about the hotel was once again evident. We cannot fault the room facilities or staff all of which were excellent. A special mention would have to be made to both Uyen and Oanh in the Signature Lounge who couldn't have done anymore ensuring that we were looked after. Many thanks

The hotel is a big one. We booked.4 extra nights after a group booking of 2 nights so that we could relax at the pool before heading off again. Sadly, that was not possible because the entire time we were there they were renovating the pool area. I feel they should have been honest when we booked. (they did offer to take us to another hotel at a strict set tine each day but that was too hard to anticipate as we did not know what our schedule would be). I was disappointed. The club lounge is excellent and although I didn't get much sun, we did spend time there.
