Caravelle Hotel

My husband and I stayed one night at Caravelle Hotel during our Southern Vietnam trip, and we were very happy with our choice. The hotel has an excellent location right in the city center. Within a short walk, you can reach famous Chinese restaurants, supermarkets, shopping areas, and many popular attractions. Check-in was quite busy at that time, but the reception staff still supported us very professionally and efficiently. Although we didn’t receive a welcome drink after a long journey, the overall service was still very good. What impressed me the most was the quality of the room interior. We really value a good night’s sleep, and the hotel delivered perfectly: soft pillows, a comfortable mattress, high-quality bedding, and well-balanced lighting that created a relaxing atmosphere. I’m usually not a fan of abstract artwork in hotels, but the paintings here felt warm and pleasant rather than overwhelming. The bathroom was clean with strong water pressure and stable hot water. The Japanese-style smart toilet was definitely a nice touch and a big plus for us. We usually wake up quite late, so we didn’t try the breakfast buffet and therefore cannot comment on it. Both check-in and check-out were quick and smooth. Overall, we had a very comfortable and enjoyable experience at Careval Hotel and would happily stay here again when we return to Saigon! 💛

The service is outstanding, very helpful concierge team. Gorgeous rooms with extra features like motion sensor light at the door and on closet doors. Comfortable space for 2 in a king sized room. Oversized shower with rain head and wand. Excellent buffet breakfast. The minus for me is the level of busy city street noise as I prefer an off the beaten path, out of the city vibe. If you want to be in the city, the location cannot be beat. Walking distance to lots of key sites, shopping, etc. The pool deck and furniture could use a good scrubbing.

This hotel is absolutely amazing!!!! Beautiful. The staff do whatever they need to do to make yoir experience memorable! My...in guest services made sure my room was exactly what I expected! She even checked the next day to make sureni was happy. Tu the rooftop server was an exceptional server !!! Attentive kind always smiling and making sure i had a drink and was happy. He speaks fluent English so that was a bonus! He explained everything to me about Saigon and gave me wonderful recommendations! I took them all and nothing disappointed. Im sad to leave here.

Finally made it to this hotel for our 7 day honeymoon and it’s been truly awesome as we have the Opera wing. If you expect the modern instagram pretentious glam of a 5 star hotel, this is not for you. I love its authentic and old glamour vibe, being a Saigon native myself. It just feels nice without being unnecessarily extra. We’ll definitely come back.

We had an almost five-star experience at this property and truly enjoyed our stay. Although we encountered some difficulties with booking confirmation prior to arrival, the backend team from Reservations and Sales was very helpful and responsive throughout our email correspondence. We booked a room with Signature Lounge Premium access, and our family spent many enjoyable moments there. Breakfast and sunset cocktails at the lounge were definitely highlights of our stay. Special thanks to Nam, Kim, and the entire team for remembering us and taking such great care of us from check-in to check-out. The location is incredibly convenient, right in the heart of District 1. Traveling around by Grab, especially with seniors, was very easy, with most destinations within a five-minute drive. We also booked the New Year’s Eve buffet dinner at the rooftop venue (Events@26), which offered an amazing cityscape view. The fireworks along the riverside lasted nearly 15 minutes and were absolutely spectacular. Despite being an outdoor event, the weather was pleasant and surprisingly cool throughout the evening. Thank you to Uyen for patiently answering our endless questions. We also appreciated the restaurant recommendations from the concierge team, especially Tung (and another lovely lady whose name I unfortunately can’t recall). Overall, it was a wonderful stay and a fantastic way to kick-start a brand new year. Highly recommended to all.

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was absolutely incredible! From the moment we checked in to the time we checked out, the service was spectacular. We were lucky to have the club lounge access where they offered drinks and food and it was a fantastic experience. It is impossible to fault a single thing about this hotel!

Fabulous hotel right in the heart of District 1. Great service in every area, concierge was terrific. Various eating options, food was beautiful. We had executive lounge access, service and staff were fantastic. Highly recommend and great live music at the rooftop bar, ticks every box!

Overall, the hotel itself is good. The facilities are clean and well maintained, the room was comfortable, and the location is convenient. Most of the staff were polite and professional, which made the stay generally pleasant. However, my experience at check-in on 14/12/2025 was extremely disappointing due to the male receptionist who handled room 1819. His attitude was unprofessional, unfriendly, and dismissive. There was a clear lack of basic courtesy and hospitality, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. His behavior significantly affected my first impression and overall experience, despite the hotel’s otherwise good quality. I strongly suggest the hotel management review this incident and provide proper service training, as one staff member’s attitude can easily overshadow all the positives of an otherwise good hotel.
