Fabulous afternoon with a tour of Carbisdale Castle from Lady Carbisdale who was so welcoming and friendly followed by delicious Afternoon Tea, it was lovely to finally visit this Castle after driving by it so many times & it is a wonderful building full of fantastic history and being lovingly restored - really lovely afternoon ❤️ - would highly recommend.

A really beautiful castle and the tea was delicious. A must see if you’re in the area.

Incredible experience visiting the castle with the owner. As we could not reach her via Email, we just called her and within 15 minutes we could enter the castle.

Google says its open and its £15 a ticket to get in , drove for ages to find it closed , very disappointed. Perhaps its my fault by not doing homework first ,

I stayed there a while ago when it was a youth hostel. We spent a couple of nights there with friends. Nice dining room where they served breakfast! I also remember the supposedly phantom haunted room which was said to hold many secrets...!!! Hwuuuuuu....

Stayed here a while ago, we stayed in the supposedly haunted room, it was a Scottish Youth hostel then. It was a beautiful place then. The hostel has closed down and the place was empty, so glad it has been saved and is being refurbished.
