Carbon Hotel - Different Hotels

Very nice and modern bedrooms, good breakfast. We didn't have the opportunity to try the restaurant as it was closed. Nice to splendide time in the welness zone. We just had a small lack in the spa. A swimming-pool or a jacuzzi would be welcome. 😉

All showerheads were covered in calcium deposits, just looking around all of it felt clean but looking to the ceiling, it is clear cleaning staff was looking mainly on eye level and not upwards. The wellness wasn't staffed and all of the showerheads were calcified. Parking was also not included in the room price. Overall the price was quite high for the level of comfort and cleanliness expected.

Overall I was very disappointed with our stay. I last stayed several years back and the standard has lowered enormously. The room was very cold and I had to wear socks and clothes the first night, the walls were dirty, the carpet frayed, the fixing- lights/ toilets were broken. There was no service, cleaning of the room. The view to the back garden was pitiful. I couldn’t get the wall light off. The breakfast was satisfactory however the experience was poor value for money and not worthy of four star hotel.

- room not really clean|- noice when we went to sleep. From 11h00 PM until 00h30. We even had to call the night watch to have a look. discussion on the 5th floor.|- breakfast area not clean||I really don't have the habit to complain, however I find it my duty to give you a warning that the level of comfort and service is really going down lately. We visit the hotel now a couple times and need to say the experience is only going down. I hope you take this bad experience as a warning. When my company receives this information from a (loyal) customer it's forced to get in contact with the customers. I was few times at Carbon hotel just after the covid period. |The hotel is in a decent location, quite easy to reach, even if it wasn't just around the corner if coming with public transportation.|The reception is essential, the staff quite welcoming. |I didn't make use of many of the amenities in the hotel, but the hotel room was quite spacious but having an original design.|Once there was a bathtub just on the side of the desk, with the bed in the middle of the room. Another time, the bathtub was standing in the middle of the room, with the bed on the other side.|The toilet room was accessible from within the bathroom, which though lacked walls. ||The room was having some special lights that I didn't manage to make working properly and looked pretty dark otherwise. It felt a bit uncosy, although the bed was quite comfortable.|The toilet amenities and the space for storing clothes were a plus.|All together the room felt clean, but the dark floor and the way the room is designed might make it easy to hide some of the dirt. ||The breakfast at that time was nothing fancy. There were a lot of items that were packaged which was a bit boring, but understandable during circumstances. |The tables were a bit small and uncomfortable for the breakfast part.||I tried to spend the evening with my colleagues in some form of outdoor place with bar on the ground floor, but there was a lot of noise/loud music and it was not even possible to conversate, even less to work. It would have been great to have some good area for casual work talks.

Everything was great, the room, hotel, facilities and the way the stuff treats you. In general was an amazing experience so fully recommended! Some of the facilities of the spa were not working but the rest made our experience great. Definitely the best place to stay in Genk

One of the bathrobes was not clean(luck that i was alone).|The room was very nice and big, but no electrical socket near the bed.|The interior garden view was the same level even if i was at the second level.|Air condition, bed and pollows war very good.

It's a beautiful hotel and one of the best one in the area. If you are going to stay in Genk overnight, then I would highly recommend this hotel. The design is modern and trendy. Rooms are well designed and clean. Reasonably helpful staff.
