Cool coffee shop in the lovely Baldwin Village. Iced coffee was nice, but sadly no straws (not even paper ones). The pig in blanket was quite different to a British one, but tasty, with beef sausage in sweet pastry. The deck out front was a great place to sit and chill.

This coffee shop takes brewing quality seriously. Quite cozy and spacious than it looks from the outside. The staff is super friendly. The entrance area up until the barista area looked really great but I wish the aesthetic was spread throughout the back as well. _________________ ☕️ Hojicha latté[oat milk, unsweetened]: simply underrated. > It was a smooth blend when I had it. Tasted like a hefty amount of powder was used because it had a prominent nutty and slight smokiness. I usually drink my drinks little by little especially when I am working on something. This latté got me chugging the whole thing down ☕️٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و❕️ 🍵iced matcha latté [oat milk, sweetened]: it was...alright. I had high expectations because of my previous visit with the Hojicha. > tasted too much of sugar; overpowered the matcha > Maybe the ice melted too quickly that it tasted watered down > 🫤 I'll try the hot one next time ☕️iced chai latté [regular milk]: it was sweet 👀 but at least tasted like chai👍🏼 but I wouldn't order it again. Maybe it will taste better as a hot drink? ☕️cortado: ✨️✨️✨️my fave go to. Could never go wrong. The pastries I got during my visits were good too. Almond croissant was actually huge, its worth it. __________________ 📶wifi: VERY choppy. Literally had to use my data just to finish my work 🪑 seats: if you are planning to stay and do work, definitely choose the high chairs or the sets at the front. > most of the seats are stools with no proper tables. > It is not ergonomically safe for a prolonged time to be stopped over or even sit on an uncomfortable seat with the laptop on ur lap. 🔌: it is a mission to find outlets. The back area has an extension cord. High chairs also have one underneath. 🚻 washroom: in the basement. Gets very cold 🥶. Well maintained. 🎵: great music taste 👌🏼. Its nice to rid of the headphones and just vibe to the music with café noise while studying.

CARBONIC 37 Baldwin St, Toronto, ON M5T 1L1 Rating: 4/5 Drinks Ordered: Flat White - whole milk ($5.85CAD) ⸻ First Impressions Carbonic is a stylish cafe filled with natural light. The arched walls/wall seating, hints of coral/deep blue and cumbia playing in the background made me feel like I was temporarily transported to a Hispanic country. The atmosphere was so immersive that I completely lost track of time. ⸻ Coffee Quality I ordered the flat white made with whole milk. * Espresso: Floral aroma, bright acidity, honey-like sweetness with a short, crisp finish * Milk: Medium, round and silky * Beans: Carbonic house blend - can be purchased, it is the grey logoless bag * This drink met my expectations. If you love bright and naturally sweet coffees, then this is for you. ⸻ Ambience & Amenities * Wi-Fi: Available * Outlets: Yes * Seating: Coffee tables with couches and indoor and outdoor conversation sets * Crowd: Inviting ⸻ Overall Carbonic is a great choice for anyone looking to sit back, relax and enjoy a good cup of coffee.

I had a very good espresso and cappuccino here, both tasty and not bitter. They were using beans from Colombia when I visited. The croissants were very fresh!

Google
I tried 15 of the best coffee shops in Toronto and must say this one was my personal favourite. The espresso shot pulled was so well balanced, the beans are roasted by the winner of the 2022 best roaster in Toronto and the only shop that carries a special oat milk that is out of this world. My oat milk cortado was the best I’ve had on my coffee tour. The atmosphere is amazing and the barista was super super kind.

Google
Latte was smooth! not bitter or sour, just right! Really enjoyed it😀The strawberry matcha latte was solid too, and I appreciated that they asked about sweetness level and adjusted it. Service was excellent and plenty of seatings available.

Google
Small coffee place and looks busy when I was there around 4:30pm. The line goes slow because one person serves. Many students like to stay on the phone/ laptops or with friends, also they have access to Wi-Fi I wish they can have more choice of desserts, pastries 🥮🥐 or snacks 🍌🍎🍊and pleasant music 🎶 I had a Matcha latte and was made with 💕😉

Google
Ordered an iced mocha to go for about 6 dollars. Considering it was around lunch time, it wasn't that busy inside the café - there was an ample amount of seating and free wifi offered. The atmosphere was pretty standard for a coffee shop, relaxed and decorative in its own way. The mocha was really well done! As someone with a sweet tooth for coffee, the flavour was just right. Overall a good location for a group to hang out after school or during lunch, in my opinion.

Yelp
I'm constantly looking for a great work space and this is one of them. There is lot of seating for you to work and free wifi. Also aesthetically it's a very nice cafe. Artsy vibe and nice chill staff. Also the drinks are great. I got the hojicha which was very smooth with a touch of sweetness. Will have to try their other stuff and desserts as well.

Yelp
What a cute spot! The vibes here are lovely to go for a chat with a friend or sit and read and drink a coffee. The coffee was great and they have lots of little items to buy. Their treats look great but I didn't try one this time. The people working there were efficient.
google avatar

Agnes W.

Yelp
They carry the standard cafe menu but deliver them in great and satisfying service and quality. The ambiance of the cafe is suitable for a chill read, working, studying, or catching up session with friends. Their patrons were all respectful and were considerate of their surrounding volume level.

Yelp
I don't really frequent this area since its most academics or hipsters but love the vibe which is true to the neighbourhood. I bought their 4 pack kombucha which gets you a free coffee. I ended up getting 2 sets of combo (baked good + coffee) and the barista was so helpful in trying to explain to me how the combos + my kombucha drink discounts would work. I really enjoyed my almond croissant and to be honest I had low expectations of it. My Cortada was just perfect and that too I wasn't expecting much. The asian barista was really friendly and I can tell she cares a lot about her job and craft. The space is SOOOOO serene and quiet if you want to get work done.

Yelp
One of my new favourite coffee shops! Such a cute vibe inside and they have a coffee/pastry special for $10 which is a great deal! I really enjoyed my oat latte and my boyfriend got a tonic espresso which he enjoyed as well. I wouldn't really recommend it for working because their tables/chairs don't seem the most comfortable for doing long work but definitely a cute lounge spot!
google avatar

Yelp
A cute little coffee shop tucked on Baldwin. The Hojitcha latte was very tasty and not powdery like how they are served at other shops. Staff was very friendly. The front of the store has a very nice cozy charm, however, the back of the store could use some improvement - felt a bit like a run-down basement? lol. Overall, a great spot for a tasty beverage and friendly service!

Yelp
I came back to carbonic coffee for their 10$ croissant and drink combo. What a great price! I got an almond croissant and carbonic coffee. The croissant was huge! I only ended up eating half and took the rest home. Their coffee is tasty, very refreshing. The service was quick and the barista was very nice. Music was blaring and upbeat. I wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, as with the block seats at the back, you're sitting against the wall.
google avatar

Yelp
Flies everywhere inside, constantly landing on and harassing patrons. The WiFi is extremely weak, so I wasn't able to use it. Seating is extremely uncomfortable. No working bathroom on the day I visited.
google avatar

Namir S.

Yelp
The good: the base espresso is good, and she textured the milk well. The bad: ok she wasn't mean, but robotic and unfriendly? And don't expect any customization of milk. Whole or oat, not a single healthier option to be found. Also, it's not quite as earthy and warm as the pictures look, but that's not about the coffee
google avatar

Tiffany W.

Yelp
This coffee shop is absolutely stunning with such a peaceful and aesthetic vibe. There are plenty of seats and a great place to do some work, study or have a coffee date. I tried the carbonic coffee and a spinach feta pastry. I didn't know what to expect and personally didn't love it. It was like a fizzy coffee but there was a predominant fruity sourness to it that I wasn't a fan of. The pastry had come straight from the oven which was great. The staff was friendly and informative. I'll come back to try their other drinks.
google avatar

Shaan A.

Yelp
It's a good coffee spot! I got a date latte (again) which was delicious! The date syrup was a nice added touch to this amazingly rich latte. Cute vibes, even cuter ambience. I'd definitely be back when I'm in the area next!
google avatar

Yelp
Walking into this coffee shop will put a smile on your face with its inviting colour palette and friendly baristas. Tucked away on Baldwin Street, you'll feel like you're enjoying your beverage elsewhere even though you're in the heart of downtown. The espresso-based beverages are expertly crafted, and the baked goods are only $1 after 3 p.m. Carbonic Coffee's sister shop, 135 Ossington, is worth checking out as well.

Yelp
Super cute cafe hidden in baldwin village. There's plenty of seating inside, including cozy couches. Would be a nice place to come to get work done or just catch up with friends as they also have a patio in front. limited selection of pastries but they have a combo of $10 for coffee and a pastry. i've only tried their flash chilled cold coffee (or something like that) but it's quite smooth. would also recommend the chocolate croissant, super flakey!

Yelp
Aesthetic cafe but.... I'll have to be honest, I was pretty disappointed. Other than the curated interior/space I can't find anything good to say about this place. Firstly it's hot in here. Humid, stuffy and so uncomfortable. Did the ac break? Even wearing a t-shirt I was sweating-def not a place you'd want to stay and chat in & spend time here. Get your pictures and leave lol Secondly its all about the details for me. The place is dirty; mold & cracked/water stained & water damaged countertops where the "barista" sink is. It's obvious to me that they're not prioritizing cleanliness. The cafe countertops/tabletops look like they haven't been wiped down in a while & the sitting spaces have dirt & dust everywhere & cushions that are dirty & def never deep cleaned or even maintained. Let's talk about the coffee- do all y'all not care about the process of making a shot of espresso here? Or you just like overworking your staff? 1 sassy employee to run your cafe is not enough to maintain quality coffee, good customer service AND cleanliness. I couldn't exactly tell what machine they were using to pull shots from but I can guarantee you it's not an investment machine. Seems like the cafe is open on aesthetics alone- don't expect to find a good cup here at all. Not sure if the drinks we got are actually on the regular menu cause it seemed to be a seasonal menu but we were recommended the flash chill & the yuzu peach latte by the "barista". The flash chill aka iced coffee.... OMG I'm fuming just trying to recall it for this review. Just because you think of a fancy way of naming your drinks doesn't make it any better lol I'm an avid coffee drinker & let me just say this... better off getting it from timmys or starbs. It was extremely diluted and bland & the peach latte was a tea bag and milk. I've got my photos-I probably won't be coming back anymore

Yelp
Small but cute cafe to get your work done or have a coffee chat. They have comfy sofas to sit on, but the desks are a bit small. I got the cappuccino, hojicha latte and ube cookie. The drinks were pretty good, but nothing outstanding. The ube cookie was super delicious and chewy though, would recommend!

Yelp
Whenever you want a caffeinated treat and enjoy the lovely vinyls playing in the background-- Carbonic Coffee is an excellent choice. Carbonic is my personal favourite cafe as a student due to its proximity to campus and comfortable seating. I came here every week during the pandemic as well and the quality of the coffee and the service has not changed. My only complaint would be the prices, which are a downside that is not unique to Carbonic Coffee.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a small but cute coffee place on Baldwin. There's some comfy chairs/sofa in the front area so you can sip and relax with your friends. More seats towards the back so if you wish to read or work. It's a narrow space, but it's decorated clean lined with pops of colour that makes it inviting without being overwhelming. It's decor is cute and simple, the baristas are so friendly and sweet . I had a latte and it was perfect! They also offer a small selection of snacks. Great place to chill on a cold afternoon!
google avatar

Yelp
Randomly stopped by Carbonic Coffee on a Saturday afternoon as we were nearby getting Japanese cream buns from a close by shop. We shared a soy latte and enjoyed the atmosphere here. The latte was made perfectly how we like it and was made at the right temperature as well. A common mistake we have experienced multiple times at other coffee shops. I was also content that they have soy as a milk alternative because lately a lot of shops carry almond milk, oat milk but not soy milk. Overall - I would come back again as the barista was very friendly and did a good job on the coffee. Atmosphere as a whole was very pleasant and not overly loud. There was a good amount of tables to hang out for a bit and it was a definite plus that it wasn't crowded like some coffee shops I have visited before. I will be back when I'm in the area.

Yelp
A cute coffee shop near UofT Exam Centre. Perfect for study dates, last minute cramming, or just catching up with friends. Although, I find there can be limited seating depending on the time of day. Reasonable prices selections for an independent coffee shop. I tried their Earl Grey tea, and really appreciated their high quality of tea leaves. The Iced Latte is also made with just the right amount of flavour. Bonus: I visited about 15 minutes before closing, and was able to get any pastry item for half off. I chose the almond croissant, and really enjoyed it! Located on Baldwin, you could also choose to hop by before or after visiting other restaurants along the street. The free Wi-Fi is definitely a bonus too! Not to mention the friendly and efficient staff :) I would definitely visit again in the future to get down work done, chill with a friend, or just for a good quality pastry or tea.

Yelp
Nice looking shop I wished I could have spent more time in. Unfortunately we had to leave quickly for a reservation, so I ordered an espresso to go rather than a pourover. The espresso was a Brazilian Natural and tasted nice balanced and was obviously made with high quality coffee. Next time I am in Toronto I will make it a point to spend more time here.

Yelp
So apparently "bicerin" is a fancy coffee native to Turin, Italy made with espresso, drinking chocolate, and whole milk. Sounds fancy, right? Well let me tell you - Bicerin Espresso Bar is anything but fancy, which is not necessarily a bad thing! Sometimes you just want a comfortable, cozy coffee shop to buckle down and get some work done. I think that's what Bicerin is - it gets the job done without the air of pretentiousness that so many coffee shops tend to have. On any given day, you can probably find this place packed with a bunch of students working/studying, and they have an array of seating options (tables, benches, couch). Drinks wise, it's your basic standard stuff with a couple cool additions to the menu. I've tried their regular latte and their lavender cafe latte (a regular latte with lavender syrup). Both are alright - not the best coffee I've had, but not the worst either. The lavender taste was really subtle in the latter, but I could see the droplets of syrup as I sipped away at my drink. Kind of disappointing because I was initially drawn here because of their lavender drinks; they also have a vanilla lavender tea latte made with real lavender. Also, maybe it was just my barista but the latte art I received was horrendous (see my picture). Anyways, it's no Italy but it's a nice place to settle in and have a chat or get some work done if you're in the area.

Yelp
uncomfortable seating, horrible americano coffee. no brewed coffee, no pastries available pack up your lu lu lemons and knitted toques and head elsewhere
google avatar

Yelp
Things have changed after the change to Carbonic. Service is way better. There's a better selection of pastries than before. They've renovated and about doubled the amount of space. The new area is good for working with plugs and lots of table space. Surprisingly the Wi-Fi tested out only at 29 / 6. Overall it is a much-improved experience. I wish their hours were longer though.
google avatar

Michelle D.

Yelp
It was a cold morning and I thought, I should warm myself up... with an Iced Tea! I came here around 9:30 and there were already many people and regulars who were seated and doing their work. I got their iced green tea. I am very hesitant about green tea if it's not Jasmine green tea. But I was so pleasantly surprised. The tea tasted like a lowkey version of matcha which is one of my favourites! Like it actually tasted like MATCHA! I highly recommend if you're not a regular green tea fan like me.

Shera J.

Yelp
If I could rate this place no stars I totally would! Horrible customer service - beware. Just walked in 2 minutes before closing (had no idea there were no times with opening and closing hours posted on the door) and waited in line behind 2 men who arrived at the same time as me and were served kindly. Barista with blonde hair tells me specifically they are closing in 2 minutes with a sense of casual rudeness while she makes their drinks. I ask if I can still order (I was just getting a tea) and she proceeds to ignore me. I don't need to ask twice - I leave. She could have just said no and responded out of courtesy. I'm never coming back here again! I don't see a purpose in supporting local businesses like this one when they do not create a positive third space environment in the community. You can look at Google Reviews and also see other examples of entitled/discriminatory behaviour from the baristas here towards others, I'm not alone.
google avatar

Jason B.

Yelp
One of my top three all-time on taste and texture of the latte alone. I come for the coffee alone and am never disappointed. This is a coffee I skip lunch to get.
google avatar

Yelp
My fellow yelper's friend makes me feel like I am on a crusade to visit every single independent espresso bars in GTA... Of course the new T. A. N. coffee is the one of those on my hundreds Yelp bookmarked to go list. T. A. N. definitely is not ready yet... as when I walked in, it feels like it is still under renovations (in fact it is really under renovations, there were workers tiling the washroom floors!)... the empty space, walls... just lacking any identity... Cappuccino ($3.50) which was awesome was made from Sumatran Mandehling, the flavour is more bold, nutty and have great depth...Oh and the latte art is yes a piece of art.. Maybe I just spoiled by T. A. N. location on Queen Street which has so much character both in seatings and decorations... but maybe giving Baldwin's location sometimes.. it will mature and be much better than her older sister!

Yelp
TL;DR: Hipster cafe on one of the most popular streets for food in Toronto. During peak hours, Bicerin does not get as packed as Light cafe, which is a few shops down. The owners are nice, and offer great recommendations depending on your taste. The cafe has some good lighting and well presented food; so it's definitely a great place to get some photos. The quiet space allows for some work to get done, or a casual chat with a friend that you have not seen in a while. Coffee / Tea (4/5): So far, I have tried their Earl Grey Tea and the Expresso. Both of which were very good. I do warn you, they use extremely hot water for their hot drinks, so very careful. I haven't tried their food but they offer desserts ranging from cream puffs to tiramisu. They also offer great recommendations depending on your specific taste, so be sure to ask them! Who knows, maybe you'll find something you didn't even know you would like! Ambiance (5/5): I love the ambiance of this place. It has great lighting, very hipster, and the space is quiet. I came around lunch time (12:30pm) on a weekend, and even then, this place was not packed. I think there was 1 other person there. They offer free wifi. This place is great for getting shit done, or just catching up with an old friend. If you're around this neighbourhood, I highly recommend this place. ------- Overall (4.5 - 5/5)

Yelp
Bicerin is a small third wave cafe with owners that are extremely passionate about coffee. They offer different beans and pour great milk based drinks. They have ample of seating and plenty of light, making it a great hidden stay spot. It gets a bit cold on colder days but otherwise, I can easily spent my whole morning at the window seat reading.
google avatar

Yelp
Pretty good Latte. The place has a great vibe and isn't too crowded, which is amazing. Drip coffee also looks like it might be good, although I am no expert. I overheard the barista talking about floral scents etc... Finally, the pastries really smell superb. Too bad I am currently on a no carb diet.... Enjoy!
google avatar

Yelp
FYI: TAN on Baldwin has been refitted as BICERIN Espresso Bar! https://www.facebook.com/bicerincoffee37baldwin Still the same staff and quality products! Just a new name and slicker decor.
google avatar

Nabiha I.

Yelp
the vibes in this cafe are immaculate so cozy, minimalistic and cute. the baristas are super sweet and i love that it isnt too busy, so i can sit and work without an overwhelming atmosphere. the temperature and taste of the latte was perfect and the croissant was so pretty and yummy!

Yelp
Bicerin has become my go-to coffee shop as it's right by my school. I've tried multiple drinks from here, including the matcha latte, rose cafe latte, london fog etc; but my favorite is still their original latte. It has just the right amount of espresso & steamed milk, making it fairly bold, creamy, and smooth without being too heavy or bitter. And the latte art on top is always a nice touch.
google avatar

Yelp
I used to go to Ryu's noodle bar a lot before it burned down and relocated and I always somehow walked by this place unassumingly. Well, I was in the neighborhood again and I found this place nearby on Yelp so I decided to come check it out. The place is quite boutique. The girl who served me was super friendly and gladly gave me a couple of recommendations. I settled on a lavender vanilla tea latte. When I took that first sip my mind was blown. Damn, never have I had such a good latte before. Really creamy, smooth. Perfect stuff for the cold weather outside. I'll definitely be back to try some other drinks (get some fancy latte art pics for IG hehe).

Yelp
One major thing that was always missing from Baldwin Village was a great coffee shop to compliment its various restaurants. So when TAN (whose Queen location was a favorite of mine on the coffee passport) opened up a few weeks ago, all my prayers were answered. No more going to Tim Hortons and Starbucks when in need of coffee while at work. The latte and americano here are amazing, especially the latte which has the perfect amount of foam and strength for my tastes. The prices are also not that bad and possibly a little cheaper than your average indie coffee stop. Not the greatest variety of food options but every time I have been here they have been out of sandwiches so I assume they must be pretty popular. The Queen location had more food on display, so this will hopefully catch up on that front. Staff are very friendly and the manager has always been in (being a new location I assume she wants to see everything is running smoothly at first). Apart from the food another slight negative is the lack of seating, only 8 seats are available but the general area while small is very spaced out. If you manage to score the table near the window, it makes for great people watching. Add reliable wifi in to the mix and you're golden, but don't take too long to check this place out as I assume it will be crowded very soon once word gets out of it's existence!

Yelp
Great coffee - I got the Bicerin expresso and it was delicious. Perfect blend of coffee and chocolate. The expresso art was also on point. Easy to access wifi - very important if you want to hold a meeting or get some work done. Plenty of seating and great music as well! All in all, would definitely recommend for doing work or holding a work meeting.

Yelp
All is well in the T.A.N. world. The espresso quality here soars beyond any nearby competitors, not that there are that many. I was definitely too hasty in demanding perfection in their first month, but my first visit set an impossibly high standard. Typical me, pinning it on someone else. Whatever. But yes, everything is great. I should praise the Coffee Gods that such a wonderous place as this has landed so close to home. And is it patio time yet? I think so! Obligatory Title Pun: TAN out of TAN. Menu Readability: They got a real sign! Still, I liked the doilies. Need to mention: The music remains regrettfully at Jazz FM. I reserve the right to be a jerk about this. What this place teaches me about myself: I'm actually listening to soundtrack of Kundun as I write this review, so maybe I am just naturally mellowed when the Glassman comes on. #pretentious

Anita S.

Yelp
Gotta give it a 4.5....Came here the other day for the first time and absolutely loved it.....I always enjoy trying new independent cafés! The ambiance, the smooth jazz music, and coziness this cafe offered was just what I was searching for. They have a good selection of drinks and food items, all at standard prices. I ordered a flat white qith a shot of gingerbread flavour. The barista apologized for messing up on the latte art, no hard feelings though, the drink still tasted amazing and looked really cute! She also informed me of the Wi-Fi password, which I later noticed was written on a chalkboard, and also gave me a loyalty card...buy 9 specialty drinks, get 1 free. Not the worlds greatest loyalty card, but I'll take it :) There are plenty of outlets so feel free to bring your laptop when you come here. The noise level is relatively low, so it makes for the perfect study cafe! I grabbed a seat along the front window and spent a solid 3 hours here doing homework, and enjoying my quality drink and the overall feel of the cafe. Only one bad thing ~ at one point, a dragonfly or something that looked like one was buzzing around me and was annoying and a little scary aha (I hate bugs)! But it eventually found its way outside the cafe. I just hope that the presence of bugs isn't a recurring thing! Regardless, I would come back here in no time! Great cafe, great drink, great neighbourhood, and reliable Wi-Fi with power outlets :D

Yelp
The dude who works here made me a fan for life. He took his time making my oat milk latte with four shots and it's obvious he takes coffee seriously. So I take them seriously. 5 STAHS KID!

Yelp
+.5 for service I would like to thank one of my friends for introducing me to this place. I'm not much of a post-drink person after lunch, but I decided to give it a shot since my friend raved this place so much. The interior of this place looks very ambient, and screams "student hangout". I saw a lot of students inside, in fact, which makes sense considering its proximity to U of T and OCAD. Since I was in a rush to head back to work, I ordered a Matcha Latte. For $4 the price is a bit steep, but considering the positivity I gambled on the fact this drink would be worth the high price. Sure enough, I really enjoyed the latte! It was definitely one of the best I've had, and the matcha taste was very rich. There was also a nice leaf-shaped cream at the top, which really impressed me on this place's creativity. I even impressed my colleagues with how beautifully the leaf was shaped, and have told them to visit here since it's so close to my office. I was served by two lovely young Asian ladies, and service was overall excellent. Definitely an awesome local establishment in the popular Baldwin Village strip. Thanks Bicerin, I now know where to go in order to get some caffeine to power through my work day!

Abby M.

Yelp
Cute little shop and great coffee. If you stop in at Bicerin and like me, decide to make it one of your new regular spots, you're in luck: they have a loyalty card. 10 brew coffee/tea or 10 specialty drinks = 1 free. They also serve pastries, sandwiches, tea lattes and offer free wifi. What's not to love about this place?
google avatar

Andrew S.

Yelp
4 stars. I came back to Bicerin because I was in the area and I must say, it is awesome. Just a great spot in this area. Will be back when around here from now on. That's it!
google avatar

Zoe L.

Yelp
I was in that area and needed a place to sit down and doing some reading. This place is really good. Casual decorated. A lot of choices. I ordered matcha latte and cheesecake. Each one was way better than I expected. The cheesecake is the best I had so far. There was caramel on top. Although I am not a fan of coffee. The matcha latte is perfect. I also saw a charming girl when I was reading. Such a good day. Will definitely go back!

Yelp
It is located on Baldwin Street not Kensington Market side. It is near Mccaul street. Many of their customers are students and they study hard there. The inside is like a library. The atmosphere motivates me and I can get things done. Music is good and coffee is good. There are many kinds of drinks and baked goods look good. The price is good, too. I will try baked goods the next time.

Yelp
This was a very cute & cozy little cafe! There was free wifi and some outlets which made it a great place to study and do work! There was also a cute couch to sit at! The service was good. There was a friendly barista who helped me with a smile, which is always very refreshing. I ordered a matcha green tea latte and paid $4.20. It was very yummy and I personally liked it better than the green tea lattes from Starbucks. I was hoping to take a cute picture of the latte art, but unfortunately they ran out of the latte cups or something so she had to use a paper cup, making the latte art on the top was all smooshed. But that's no big deal (my beautiful latte photo will just have to wait 'til next time). I came on a very windy day, so the bells on the door kept jingling. I didn't get bothered by it, but if you're someone who gets annoyed by constant noises like that, then maybe try to come by on a not so windy day :) Overall I give it a 4/5! I will definitely come back to study and maybe try some food!

Yelp
Friendly barista, comfortable space, great coffee. The Carbonic is a must try..a spin on iced coffee but so much better!
