Absolutely amazing food and incredible location! The dishes were authentic and the service is what you would describe as the perfect Greek hospitality! We loved everything we tried and the prices were reasonable, definitely a place you must choose when visiting makrinitsa

Kardamo serves some of the tastiest food in all of Pelion. The place is always buzzing, so booking ahead is essential — but it’s absolutely worth it. The dishes are consistently excellent, and there are enough vegetarian and vegan options to make everyone happy. A true must-visit spot for anyone exploring the area.

The restaurant is located in Makrinitsa square and has a great view of Volos and Portaria, as well as the picturesque village itself. A little expensive, but their traditional food deserves it, it is very delicious (and in good portions)! Service can get a little slow on busy days, but nothing too bad.

Nixe taverna, the only one in Makrinitsa which offers halloumi and eggplant salad on their menu.

Perfect dinner here! Perfect oven cooked goat in lemon sauce, giant beans and greens (can’t remember the names) & dry red wine. All were delicious and service was friendly and professional and the food was very reasonably priced :)

Superb restaurant, the food was amazing. I highly recommend the Fava, Grilled Haloumi with cherry marmalade, the Spetofari, the Eggplants with meat and don’t miss the Portokalopita (Oranges pie). And the view is perfect as well

We had the grilled plevrotus mushrooms 🍄 which were one of the best I’ve ever had. The beetroot salad- so sweet and tasty. Didn’t like the bread 🍞. Atmosphere amazing 🤩! Located in the mountain traditional village of Makrinitsa.
