Cardo's Steakhouse & Cocktail Bar

We had pleasure having dinner at Cardo’s recently. It was at the port facing water, creates nice vibe and views. They had live music, not that they were great singers but lift up the mood. We had Tuna steak with cassaba chips and veggies, which was good. They needed to be seasoned better definitely, with more balance in the selection of veggies, as its 80% pumpkin (undercooked unfortunately) and 20% miscellaneous green veggies that were soggy….. cassava chips were good though, although undercooked slightly. The tuna was a good cut, but overcooked for medium. Lastly creamy garlic sauce was very good. The service was interesting… polite and helpful staff with smiles in their face like all Fijians.. but couldn’t help to think that they want to get rid of us for fast turnover… everything was cleaned so quick, my partner’s plate was removed while I was still eating.. Overall I would go there again. Food was ok without being terrible, for a good price, and the waterfront was beautiful.

Absolutely loved Cardo’s! The beef & pork was tender and flavorful, and pizza hit the spot. Friendly staff and a lively atmosphere made the night perfect. Highly recommend!

We had the seafood platter, everything was delicious except the lobster was overcooked and was old. It was very busy hence the service was slow, it took 20 mins to be seated and our orders taken which was frustrating. When we complained about the lobster we were met with a lot of resistance by the front house staff and they were rude to us. We also had the lamb shank with mash which was delicious, you just have to be careful with the seafood. Overall, the ambience is very nice with live music and beautiful view.

What an amazing spot! The food, service, and overall vibe were all fantastic. We ended up having dinner here three nights in a row because we loved it so much. The pizza was delicious, the garlic prawns were full of flavour, and the tacos were absolutely perfect. Everything was fresh, well-made, and served with a smile — truly a place worth coming back to! Food is pricey but well worth it..

Don't miss this place when visiting Denarau . Great spot to sit and spend the afternoon watching the passing parade. Great food and service is excellent. Tks Sam for making sure that we spend our last night here. One of the best Singapore crab meals I have had. Have never been disappointed with food or service in the 20 yrs I have come here

During our recent visit, we sampled several pizzas and found the large size ideal for sharing with family. However, the toppings left us wanting more: on the seafood pizza, the seafood was diced so finely that it lost its texture and flavor, and the Meat Lovers pizza, while hearty, failed to distinguish itself in taste or presentation. On the upside, the service was friendly and attentive, and the Fiji Gold beer was perfectly chilled. Overall, the atmosphere and cold beer were highlights, but the pizzas themselves could benefit from more generous, better-seasoned toppings and bolder flavors

Highly recommend! Hosted “welcome drinks” for approximately 120 guests in October 2025 & the Cardo’s team was fantastic! We had a section of tables allocated to our party & provided menus that were placed around for our guests. Organising the event from Australia was easy via email. We agreed a menu that met our needs & the team was very accomodating. Service on the night was wonderful & friendly. As we pre-organised a set menu of light bites, staff were very busy bringing platters out and taking drink orders, but were all smiles and even helped with cuddling some of our baby guests so their parents could enjoy the dance floor. Expect slight delays due to the number of guests + public guests too, but there’s a reason this place is so popular! We provided wrist bands for our guests to order on our drink tab & were updated by the manager throughout the night so we knew what we were up for. No nasty surprises with cost occurred. Food was plentiful (we had leftovers for guests to take home) and of a standard you would expect of a local bar/pub in Australia. Atmosphere was wonderful with a live band playing on Thursday night! We wish we’d found this place earlier in our trip. With subpar food at our hotel, this place was a blessing. First decent cocktail in 3 days 😂 and the music and vibe was spot on. Let’s chat about Fiji food - I don’t think you go to Fiji for the food. So this food was just fine. Better than half the other places we ate. Keep it up guys!
