Stayed the weekend once again. Great location. Great restaurant in hotel. Overall great room. The elevator only has 1 so wait time can be long sometimes. We were on an upper floor with a great view however the exterior glass windows are terribly dirty when we opened the blinds to get the beautiful sunlight and really need to be cleaned on the outside with mildew and dirt. Would improve experience.

We were excited to find good rates at a hotel right on Ocean with such history that had been entirely restored. That it is owned by music icon and sweetheart Gloria Estefan made it that much more fun. The rooms are simple but elegant, the AC plentiful, the location perfect! The free internet, coffee on each guest floor, beach chairs, beach towels, and bicycles are a fun touch. We didn’t have time to use it, but free access to the high-end Crunch Fitness is also a nice perk. The Cuban coffee at Estefan’s Kitchen Express (and the tasty pastellito for an additional $1.87) is the best we found in South Beach. The Cuban breakfasts at Call Me Cuban were the highest quality, best value we found in street-front dining in South Beach.||The only drawbacks are the front desk, the deposit, and the world’s smallest and slowest elevator. While the front desk staff were universally friendly and helpful (a rarity in South Beach we discovered), their processes and procedures take forever! Our check-in took 30 minutes. At checkout we finally had to just throw our keycards on the desk and say we’d be back to settle up because we had waited 25 minutes for the guests in front of us to check in and we had to get to a lunch reservation. The elevator fits two people comfortably, four people if you get friendly, and takes several minutes between floors, so waiting for it to come or go became a whole thing. It is clear from the hefty deposit they require ($100/day for the duration of your stay), that they are used to spring breakers emptying the minibar nightly and not paying, so be prepared for a significant extra hold on your credit card.||All in all, there are some issues, but value, location, and the extras make the Cardozo a place we would return to.

We loved our stay here so much! Every staff member was so welcoming and accommodating. Concierge was so kind to hold our bags for most of the day as our flight was delayed several hours, and they were quick to help with anything we needed. We had such a fun time using the bicycles they provided to cruise the beach! They also provide chairs and towels for the beach, which is just across the street. We loved the restaurant too, the food and cocktails were so good, and every server we had was so kind and attentive. Augustina was so sweet and we really enjoyed chatting with her! There was also live music every night we were there, which was so wonderful. The rooms provided everything we needed, and the AC felt so good after spending all day in the heat! I would love to stay here again, and hope to be able to do so in the near future!

I will start off by saying this hotel is in a great location. The staff is very rude. The front desk clerk has a major attitude and has a very smart mouth. And because I complained on the clerk she put us in a handicap room where there was no view and the bed might as well been on the floor. This has ruined the start of my birthday. I have been to Miami many times. Like this is my 2nd home but I will never visit The Cardozo again . Please save your money if you look for friendly service when you spend your money. Do better with your staff Casey (manager)

I’ve never left a bad review before but this was a cartoonishly bad stay. We booked two nights and paid ahead of time only to be surprised with additional fees in the $100s of dollars upon check in. At around 1 am, the fire alarm started going off. We spent an hour outside with our kids crying while the fire department investigated. The fire department left and nobody was notified about the buildings’ status. Restaurant staff packed up and left the hotel doors locked with us outside without saying anything to any guests. We walked around to a different entrance and went inside to inquire about status and were told we were fine to go back in regardless of the fire alarm intermittently going off still. Around 2 am we made it back to our rooms. We spent the next 45 minutes trying to calm our children down only for them to we startled awake by the fire alarm every 5-10 minutes. Around 3 am we again went downstairs to inquire and were told there was nothing that could be done about the fire alarm and to go somewhere else. So our family had to pack up and leave to find another hotel at 3 in the morning. We were told we could be refunded but we have been calling the hotel excessively for days and left messages only to be ghosted. We lost a night of sleep on our trip and around $1000 by booking this hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel in South Beach, Miami, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The location is perfect – just steps away from the beach and close to the best dining, shopping, and nightlife in the area. The hotel itself is sleek and modern, with spacious rooms that are stylishly decorated and equipped with all the amenities you could ask for. What truly made my stay memorable, though, was the impeccable service. Simon, the concierge, went above and beyond to help hold our bags until we could check into our room, valet our rental car and we even got to check-in early. Whether you're in town for relaxation or adventure, this hotel offers the perfect base for your South Beach getaway. The attention to detail, excellent service, and stunning location make it a standout choice. Highly recommend! We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful hotel. Bright, cheery room. Lots of light & spacious. Great location on Miami Beach! Wine at check in was very nice! Bar had great frozen margaritas. Excellent food in restaurant. My only place to stay in Miami. Staff went over the top to welcome us.

If you’re hoping to get some sleep, stay home instead. The main issue was the noise. Thin doors and wall’s meant we were constantly woken up by people in the hallways and the ice machine right outside our room. The AC was also extremely loud and started up every hour during the night. To make things worse, the fire alarm went off during the first two nights — terrifying and totally disruptive. We were promised daily bottled water but only got it a few times despite asking several times. The listing also mentioned a fitness center, but there was none. One woman working in the breakfast restaurant clearly hates her job — and probably people too. That doesn’t really start your day off in a good way.

Yelp
Love this hotel! It's a cute boutique Hotel with a great location. Luiz helped me check in and really made sure I felt special! It was a very long travel day and he made sure I was comfortable and had a great room ready. I appreciate Luiz warm welcome for my first time to Miami.

Yelp
Stayed here for 3 nights for a conference in South Beach. Hotels in the area are typically overpriced, tiny, and not well maintained but I was pleasantly surprised with the Cardozo. The lobby is a little underwhelming, it's very small and the check-in desk is a little hard to find because you have to go up a staircase from the restaurant, and there's a weird odor that never really goes away. Once I was checked in though, I fell in love with my room. It was super modern and spacious. The bathroom was also very clean and nice. The bed was so comfortable, I typically have a hard time sleeping in hotels but I got the best sleep here. My only complaints about the room would be that every time the AC would turn on it would be a really loud sound, which was startling at first. And there was a giant painting/poster of a woman in my room right by my bed which was a little creepy waking up and feeling like someone was standing next to you... Lastly, I went down to the restaurant in the lobby one night to grab a quick bite and ordered the shrimp cocktail and was pretty disappointed. The shrimp had a weird taste/smell to it and it was served with a weird mayo instead of a cocktail sauce. Wouldn't recommend the food here.

Yelp
Leaking a/c throughout our visit there. Staffs "fix" was to put more towels down on the marble floor to sop up all the water. I kid you not! Someone's going to slip on that and have a lawsuit on their hands. Had beautiful shrimp to eat in the restaurant but not served with cocktail sauce. We asked for cocktail sauce and no one could understand what we meant! Really? Very expensive to dine in South Beach. We checked out early and went farther north to Sol Miami which was the BEST place ever to stay. Going to review that next.

Yelp
Very unprofessional! I booked this hotel at 12 noon on 6/19/24 through hotel tonight. I arrived at 1:30am on 2/20 10.5 hours after my check in time. I flew thousands of miles away from home to be declined shelter in the middle of the night after traveling for 11 hours. The front desk personnel tells me he sees my confirmation and that I paid $500 for my stay but there was a trainee there at the time of my booking who failed to put it into there system. How on earth is that my problem how are you able to tell me that you see my name, booking, and payment but you can't accommodate me. He then goes to tell me I have a room I can give you but you need to book it directly through us to get it. Sir you want me to spend another $600 on a room I already paid for? He's like yea just try to get your money back from them. Everytime I go to Miami there is always some type of scheme. I ended up getting a refund credit from hotel tonight and a $75 gift card so I ended up booking another hotel around 2:30am and I'm still left with $200 in credits for my next voyage. I am livid that I don't remember that guys name.

Yelp
I stayed at this hotel for one night and it was really modern and clean. The beds were big and could fit two people comfortably. The bathroom was small but it was really modern and reminded me of italy. There is multiple outlets which was good and multiple lamps as well. Check in was easy and this hotel is in a really pretty area. It is also right by the beach so that was amazing. At night, if you left and walked around there was a lot of night life with pretty lights. There is music and multiple restaurants for you to eat. Free breakfast was an option which is amazing as many hotels do not offer free breakfast anymore. I did not use this perk but it is great that they offered it. There is multiple restaurants and cafe in the neighborhood within walking distance. I think this location gives you a great example of Miami if you come here for a few days and don't want to waste all your time on transportation. They have a restaurant downstairs, regarding that, I don't think the food was good. The lobster with rice that my family and I ordered was not fresh and had a sour taste to it. The rice was amazing but the lobster was not. When we told the manager, she offered to give us a new one which was kind. However, the wait for the food took so long that when she gave us this option, we waited like 15 minutes but it was so long so we just paid the bill and canceled it. The food was really salty and had no other flavor. The service and employees were kind. Overall, beautiful, clean, and modern place to stay and I would definitely come back for a stay!

Yelp
Pros: Great location on South Beach Night atmosphere is fun Live performance at night is amazing (great singers) Cons: Not the cleanest We were supposed to get a complimentary wine bottle and they said they would give it to us and we never did Right when we checked in there was either poop or vomit on our toilet and we had no toilet paper (we talked to the manager at night and looked at us like what do you want me to do? He said house keeping would deal with it, they showed up until 2-3pm to clean it the next day) We asked if someone can switch the carbon monoxide batteries for the alarm since it kept beeping and no one did (we heard it for 4 days straight)

Yelp
[TLDR] - the customer service here is good until something goes wrong, then it becomes atrocious. Will not be coming back. GM and rest of management will cause this place to be the least desirable hotel on the South Beach strip. Full Story: My fiance and I were woken up at 1:30am by multiple bugs crawling on us and flying around the room. We spent 30 minutes in a panic searching through our clothes and bed sheets, attempting to kill all of the bugs, and inspecting where they were coming from. After searching, we discovered a hole in the bed frame fabric and could see antennas sticking out whenever we shined a flashlight on it. That tells us that for the duration of our stay up to this point (2 nights), we had been sleeping right on top of this infestation the entire time. Fun stuff. Once I called the front desk to inform the staff of our issue, they said they would send their maintenance person to come to our room and take a look. After inspecting our room himself and seeing the bugs, he said that we could not sleep in that room and would have to move all of our belongings to a different room. We were informed that all other rooms at the hotel were booked except for one. This room was available because it had a defective air conditioner. We were told that the air conditioner had issues with cooling and that our room would struggle to get cool. Given that all the rooms were booked and it was past 2am at this point, we decided to move to the room anyway rather than continue to sleep with the bugs. We spent the next 30 minutes packing up all of our belongings and moving them in multiple trips from the 3rd to 2nd floor to our new room. After 10 minutes in the new room, I stood up to use the restroom and stepped in a puddle of water beside the bed. It turns out that the air conditioner did not have an issue with getting cool, it actually had an issue with leaking water that flooded the floor. As a result, our house slippers got soaked with AC water along with the bottom of our suitcases and our belongings inside. h the front desk receptionist and asked to speak with a manager, they questioned us and said that the issue had been resolved since we were moved to a new room. When we continued to ask for a manager, he finally called for a woman named Patricia (a manager). After 10 minutes, Patricia came and spoke with my partner and I. She told us that all they could do at the moment was to keep us in the room we had been moved to. She also said that the GM, Stephen Smith?, would be at the hotel the next morning at 7am to discuss the situation and offer something to make up for our experience. She reassured us that he had already been made aware of our experience. The next morning, we went to the front desk and waited from 7:00-7:20am but were told that the GM or any other manager was unavailable. Overall, this was a frustrating, sickening, and inconvenient stay at the Cardozo Hotel for my partner and I who were visiting south beach for the first time and wrapping up our vacation. The issues we encountered negatively impacted our experience at the time. We have not been contacted or reached out to by anyone to address this situation and are now having to spend time and energy after our vacation to write this email and breakdown the situation. The incident occurred on 10/14/23. I have emailed the GM directly. I have called the Cardozo hotel over 5 times over the past 2 weeks and have the same interaction every time. The front-desk employee answers the phone, they question why I'm calling, I explain the situation and say that I want to speak to the GM directly, they continue to question me (in a very skeptical and reluctant tone which they all do and really is something to experience - it's like a twilight zone experience), and then they take down my information and say they will provide it to the GM who will call me in the next couple of days. I haven't received one call back or email reply since all of this occurred. VERY strange behavior by these people, and terrible customer service. All I can do at this point is share my experience and at least hope that someone reading this avoids having to deal with what we did.

Yelp
I'm giving them a 5 because currently they are on here with 3 stars with only 10 reviews and they deserve to be MUCH higher, so I'm trying to give them a boost. They are probably a 4. Supposedly the whole hotel was shut down for a few years for renovation and have only been open for a few years since. Everything was clean and new and updated. We couldn't have afforded a room here on the weekend, but during the week it was much more reasonable. You couldn't have possibly picked a better location. Steps to the beach and every kind of restaurant possible. We parked our car when we arrived and didn't touch it until it was time to go. The hotel itself doesn't have parking, but next door is a big garage. It's $20 for 24 hours, which for the location seemed more than fair. The hourly rate wasn't bad, so if we wanted to go in and out it wouldn't have been that bad either. They do charge a resort fee, but that gets you access to beach towels, bike rentals, and beach chairs. On the beach you can rent umbrellas and plenty of other things. Breakfast is included. The downstairs restaurant is Call Me Cuban. We went to dinner there and it was absolutely phenomenal. For breakfast they have a full menu that you can pay for or a handful of very basic items that are included at no charge. It would have been better if they gave you a certificate for $10-15 or so per person to use in the cafe. We would have gotten a much better breakfast and spent more out of pocket.

Yelp
Loved the time spent at Cardozo on New Years Eve. Right after a day on the beach, this was the perfect place for drinks and appetizers! Their Mule is very good. Appetizers were all yummi and the portions are big enough to be shared. We tried their Truffle Yuca Fries, the guacamole, the mixed fried fish. Everything satisfactory. Place is clean and elegant. Service is good. Will go back for sure.

Yelp
This hotel was beautiful. Imagine art deco boutique! Me and my sis had the breakfast multiple times during our stay. We were hooked on their tasty breakfast burrito before heading to the beach. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was helpful. We were able to take the hotel beach towels and Beach chairs were included in our stay because the hotel does Not have a pool. So the appeal is the amenities. On the last night we had thee most amazing conversation with some other guests and I probably had thee best mojito of my life because they blend and strain the mint cocktail. No more clogged straws or leafy greens between your teeth. This so dang good!

Yelp
On arrival in the evening of Feb 5th, it was difficult to see where the entrance to the hotel was, and really no parking in order to unload our car. I ran in and was told by the lady at the front desk to park in a spot with the Valet sign since there was no valet attendant, and to carry our suitcases up the steps to the front desk of the hotel. Not really a lobby. She registered us for our room and told us we could park on the street (4$/hour) or in the parking garage next door if they had a spot available. The cost of the garage is $20 for 24 hours, which is the cheapest we found in the area. No one there to help with our suitcases and no wheeling racks to help get them to our room, so that was somewhat difficult. The room, itself, was stark white with a small bathroom and pedestal sink (no storage). The room windows were dirty and had black tape on them. They were also sealed shut, which I thought was a safety hazard. The floor and sink were also a bit dirty. I was disappointed that we were staying on "The Strip" across from the beach and we had no view from our hotel room. There was no fridge, microwave, or coffee maker in the room. I think, maybe, we were just used to staying in a different type of hotel so we thought that the lack of equipment in the room was unusual. Once we got used to things, we ended up being pretty happy (it's hard not to be happy in Miami Beach!!). The restaurant on the first floor of the hotel, is called "Call Me Cuban" and the food, view, and ambience were excellent! The hotel gives a complimentary breakfast voucher. The food and drinks were so good and the Cuban sandwich was perfect! Overall, I would stay at The Cardoza again! Luis, Connie, and the manager, Yesly, were very nice, accommodating, and friendly. We were quite taken with Ms Yesly's beautiful smile! We will definitely visit again!

Yelp
Long story short - they're amazing! We had awesome service and the rooms were beautiful and comfortable. We will absolutely stay here again! Long story - we stayed here 2 nights before we left on our cruise and had a very comfortable stay. Upon our late arrival, I dropped my purse when exiting the elevator and oddly enough, my cell phone slipped between the slot in the floor and fell down the elevator shaft. I spoke with the manager on duty in the morning and unfortunately there was nothing he was able to do to access the elevator shaft. He was extremely apologetic, but I understood and went to get myself a new phone. The next morning before we left, we got a call from the General Manager, Steven, who said he'd been able to access the area and was able to retrieve my phone. He then promptly ran it up to my room and returned it. I never expected to see that thing again but Steven was so happy to help. Then when we completed our cruise, we spent one last night at the hotel before leaving for the airport the next morning. They were able to accommodate us flawlessly with an unexpected early check in, as we disembarked far earlier than I expected to. Unfortunately, our room AC wasn't cooling off the room and when I spoke to reception about it, they had maintenance there immediately. Sam worked on it while we went to dinner and when he wasn't able to get it fixed, he arranged for us to move rooms. He pre tested the AC in the new room to make sure it was acceptable and then he helped us move our bags. Every time we turned around we received excellent service and attention from the staff. The hotel also has a restaurant attached, Call Me Cuban. This food is TO DIE FOR!! We had 2 breakfasts and 1 dinner there. It's some of the best food my husband and I had over our entire 2 week vacation. Gretel and Aylen were amazing servers; very attentive and sweet. The plates are huge portions and a great value for the price. Thank you Cardozo for making our time in South Beach AMAZING!

Yelp
Beautiful rooms with a clean white minimalistic design.Right on the main drag in south beach. We were able to extend our stay with no reservations easily after being grounded by canceled flights, they said just come down in the morning and let us know if we needed another night and they would keep our room off reservations which took away the stress of moving hotels nightly while we waited for flights to resume. Parking on the street is a hit and miss, but they have valet parking for $40 unlimited in and out or you can park in the garage next door for $20 a night. You can't activate the elevators to get to the rooms without a hotel key so felt super safe with all the ruckus going on outside ( it is a party place for sure) they have a great bar and restaurant in the lobby which made going anywhere else inept. 5 minutes to the ocean across the street. Would definitely stay again when in SB.
google avatar

Jineane O.

Yelp
Right on ocean dr. Free breakfast. Room was nice I just wish they had a mirror in the room outside of the bathroom. It makes it hard to get ready when there's only 1 mirror in the entire room. A little pricey, i wouldn't stay here again only because I can find a room cheaper & just as good.

Yelp
We stayed one night at this hotel and we were pleasantly surprised with its location and the value for what we paid. Our check in process was a breeze and our room was ready right at check in! As for parking, we got lucky and the municipal garage next to hotel had a few open spots so we were able to park there for $20, which is a steal for Miami Beach! Normally parking could be upwards of $40 or more! The hotel is right on Ocean drive and our room had a view to the beach which was amazing! The room itself was adorned beautifully. The beds were comfortable and their bathroom was large and shower was really nice too! I was nervous at first that since we were right on Ocean Drive that it would be noisy and that we may not get much sleep but right at 12-1am everything quieted down which was perfect for us! Also, I live about 45 min from South Beach and had seen how news outlets reported that this area was getting to be dangerous. I was a little nervous about this too. However, it felt very safe because there were plenty of police patrolling the neighborhood making sure everyone was safe. In the morning the hotel offered the amenities of breakfast. This was a nice touch since in Miami nothing is free! For breakfast I had the scrambled eggs which came with bacon and home fries as well as a glass of orange juice. My hubby had the spinach omelette with coffee. Other amenities the hotel offered but we were not able to take a part of was the beach chairs at the beach and bikes to ride around the area. Ocean Drive is closed off to cars so pedestrian and cyclists alike were found up and down exploring this area. We also got to check out the bar at the hotel which was nice! Side note to anyone traveling to South Beach, most establishments will place a service charge on your bill so make sure you pay attention to that so that you don't over pay.

Yelp
We stopped here randomly for a cubano as it was our last day in town. They did not disappoint. It was PERFECT! Perfect ratio of meat and cheese and the bread was toasted just right. We also got the mixed chips that were delicious. They also gave us mojitos on the house, so good! We'll definitely return every time we're in Miami.

Abrianna K.

Yelp
Absolutely beautiful lobby and fantastic service from the front desk! So excited to stay here. The restaurant in the front also adds to the overall ambiance and fun atmosphere. Highly recommend for your stay if you are young and want to have fun!

Kristina S.

Yelp
If I could give a zero review I would. Connie at the front desk was extremely rude. I dined at the restaurant and prior to gettin service I used the hotel lobby restroom. I had informed Connie that there was no paper towels. I then had to use the restroom after my meal and there was still no paper towels. She was extremely rude and even rolling her eyes during her interaction. She was not accommodating what so ever nor did she attempt to help with something as small as wiping my hands clean. At one point she looked at the camera and told me that we were being recorded. It was a terrible experience, I would never patron this establishment again. If the hotel and restaurant were separate 4 stars for the hotel zero for hotel.

Steve H.

Yelp
Great location for South Beach. The hotel is across the street from the beach. A convenient public parking garage is next door. Parking is $20/24 hours. Lots of fu restaurants in the neighborhood. The room was clean and housekeeping serviced it daily, unlike some hotels nowadays. The rooms are very small, but adequate. Hotel staff is courteous and friendly. Free coffee in the morning and a minimal free breakfast. The hotel loans guests towels and chairs for the beach, but not umbrellas like some other hotels in South Beach.

Yelp
Booked for one night before driving down thru the Keys. Our flights got delayed and we didn't get there until 2am Miami time (11pm our time). I called to let them know we were running late and they had our check in paperwork ready to go when we arrived. We were in room 220. Incredibly noisy. We could hear everyone on the street talking and shouting, and yes, that goes on well after 2am. Next to the parking garage, horns beeping every time someone locked their car door. Walls were paper thin, could hear every word of the conversations going on in the room next door. Garbage and delivery trucks right below the window, banging and grinding. Only sleep we got was between about 4:30 and 6am when the garbage trucks showed up. Bed was comfortable, room was very clean, very nice shower in a tiny bathroom, friendly service, but I wouldn't stay here again, at least not in room 220.

Yelp
Front desk is a joke. Unprofessional. The hotel is ok No pool. I can't believe Camille is the manager I went to Complain about her and then found out she was the manager. We stay in hotels several Times a year we are active travelers and this is the worst hotel I ever stayed in. The hotel it's self seems to have cheap updates but the bed is uncomfortable and rooms are just ok your better off at a holiday inn or Hilton don't stay here .

Yelp
Hands down a truly great hotel with an unbelievable staff. Two thumbs up on attention to details and overall experience. Layout of the room is very comfortable & the location is unbeatable. Steps away from the beach & couple of blocks away from Lincoln Road !!!

Nanelle P.

Yelp
I'd give this a 3.5, increased to a .5 due to the location. Prefect location and walking distance to everything in Miami Beach for desserts, drinks, food, and night life. For the room itself was extremely noisy. You here the neighbors opening and closing the drawers. The kids running up and down the halls and the elevator bell ringing. Take advantage of the resort fee and go across the street to the beaches and use the towels and chairs. No discount for parking $40 a day. No black out curtains either so, basically the whole time the room is lite. Good side besides the location are the free mojitos from the bar, but only one. Give at least for how many nights you're staying, know those were delicious.

Leslie C.

Yelp
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!! I stayed here for 2 nights recently, and the staff at this hotel stole my $400 perfume! And then tried to blame it on me !! They had the audacity to ask if maybe one of the other guests in the room might have taken it!! The housekeepers were the only people who could've took it. I'm sure they went thru all of my personal belongings because that perfume bottle was between all of my clothes in my carryon. The housekeeper manager sarcastically asked me why I didn't use the safe; I mean last time I checked housekeepers are supposed to do housekeeping, not going thru someones personal belongings and taking stuff that isn't theirs!!!Overall this has been the worst experience at a hotel i've had on my 2 week vacation. If I could give this hotel negative stars I would !! The staff is very sarcastic and disrespectful, and is of no help what so ever. All of the managers here have disgusting attitudes. So if you do stay be sure not to bring anything valuable, there's people with sticky fingers who work here!!

Yelp
This place is AMAZING!!! I don't want to gross you out but I have to start with just how WONDERFUL the bathrooms smell ! They are spotless and well maintained. I cannot recall many times a trip the the restroom could be considered a pleasant experience. However, at Cardozo it is indeed just that! You are greeted with the friendliest and most welcoming staff. Ms Camilla is a great leader who takes wonderful care of her team. Ms. Shay is the hostess with the mostest and quite knowledgeable. The bartender Matteo is a HOOT! Oh so sunny and full of the latest dance moves. The staff and customers have no other choice but to boogie on down because the music is infectious and body moving. I will visit Cardozo EVERY TIME I visit South Beach! Thank you for a memorable and pleasant time. You are all appreciated!

Yelp
Room was not adequately cleaned and windows were filthy. Walls are paper thin and you hear absolutely everything from the next room.

Yelp
Very bad experience. The room we got was above the kitchen of the restaurant and smelled so strong like kitchen exhaust that we had to ask for another room, which was finally possible after arguing (opening window is not possible to fix issue). It takes appr. 45 minutes to get your car from Valet Parking (that you pay for), so plan accordingly....

Yelp
If I could give this place a negative star I would. I had the most unbelievable experience my first time here in Miami. I guess my fault is that I didn't do enough research here. It is a known fact that the noise level is out of control. I have full on recordings and the neighbor to the north of us even apologized for having a party and being loud till 1-4am. I had only a mere 3 hours of sleep. You can literally hear neighbors on the phone, full and clear conversation, door slamming, elevators dinging and due to the hard tile floors, every movement that goes on in each unit. Someone was moving furniture around and dropping tIt's covid and they didn't even offer hand or bar soap to use. No water, no snacks, no nothing. If you arrive on a late flight, be sure to bring food or be fed prior to arriving. This place is a complete joke. It cost $300 a night plus resort fees. What type of perks am I getting from the resort fee? The rooms are clean and they did try newly remodeling, but it's beyond noisy, that there's no point in salvaging the place unless they put in some insulation. I am a deep sleeper and can usually sleep through anything, but this was complete hell. Go to a motel 6 because this place is a complete nightmare. Front desk not helpful and the manager refusing to provide refund. Did you know Gloria Estefan owns this place? Well, it's a complete money hole. It looks like investment was not well spent. Please avoid this place like the plague. Do proper research and find a quieter hotel or get an Airbnb.

Yelp
The Cardozo was great! Perfect location along the strip and across from the beaches. The level of service was top notch. From the moment we checked in to having drinks at the bar late at night, everyone made sure your stay was fantastic. The food was also awesome! We will be back. Thank you Cordozo staff.

Yelp
We had a lovely stay at The Cardozo Hotel. It was in a perfect location directly across from Miami Beach. Surrounded by all the restaurants in the area but not too noisy at night. The service staff catered to all of our needs and was super quick to answer all of our questions upon arrival. The rooms were very clean and I loved that there were two lounge chairs plus beach towels included and ready for you each day at the beach. My only suggestion would be to include a full-length mirror in the room. Great location, clean hotel, and a lively atmosphere can't get better than that for South Beach! Thank you Cardozo staff, we will definitely be back!

Yelp
Very disappointed. The room was beyond noisy, not just hearing conversations in other rooms but the bass just never stopped beating until midnight. It felt like our room was shaking and it was so loud. The room itself was very small and no table to eat our room service food so we had to eat on the bed. The very worst part is that there were ants everywhere. Any food we had in the room was quickly taken over by ants. The windows were filthy dirty and could not be opened so the rooms were stifling. Room service left our dirty glasses in the room and never refreshed the glasses. We were told coffee was included but when we went to the front desk to ask where we get we were directed back up the stairs and no coffee was there. My husband being disabled and having to continually take the stairs due to the elevator not working was really just too much for us. We will not be back and it's a shame because we were really excited for this experience.
