We used carefree getaways to rent a villa this was our second time renting with them and we rented the same exact villa. The way it works is once you get off the ferry there is a greeter that takes you to your villa we got a girl named Tori. Who actually never took us to the villa because I said we have been here before and I had mentioned to her as I did everyone else in our plans when I reached out to carefree that I wanted to make sure the television was working this time around because last year it was not. She responded very rudely and said it was and if we would’ve mentioned it last year it would gotten fixed to which I responded that I did mention it and it wasn’t fixed and she said well it’s all working and then said you guys can go ahead if you know your way and I said oh ok we do actually so we will she said ok the house is open but then she says we had a power outage and the jacuzzi isn’t working they ordered the part and it will be delivered this week. So naturally I was upset and said ok well I hope so because I don’t want to not have one. She said it should be here in about 2 days. Now two days later I reached out to her and said we just wanted to know if the part is here and if jacuzzi is going to be fixed today. She responded with Like I said we are waiting for the part and we will let you know when we know something. So I said like I said I was just asking to see if there was an update. She then said to forward any other questions directly to carefree who then emailed me the next day now we are three days into our vacation of 7 days. Carefree said that the jacuzzi part had arrived and they were waiting on electrician to confirm ok to put on the jacuzzi and that someone would be fixing it today or tomorrow but so that we are aware they don’t advertise jacuzzi in this villa. Which is a lie because we love to use the jacuzzi and the reason we got this villa is because of where the jacuzzi is located since we knew we would be in it every night just as we did last year. None the less the jacuzzi was never “fixed” and I looked up the listing in carefreegetaways website and they changed it to say it’s a kids pool SMH so deceiving!
This is why we will no longer use carefree and will continue to book our annual at John vacations with another agency smh!
