A good all round hotel, set in a lovely spot. ||Rooms|We upgraded to superior sea view and it’s well worth it, the views are lovely and rooms are spacious. It’s worth noting however the hills and steps are something special. We took our 10 month old in a pram which is quite challenging, but it does help burn off the all inclusive! ||There’s also a very well priced supermarket 1 min away, just in case you forget anything. ||Food & drink |Food was far better than expected considering we went out of season. Fresh fish, meat, salads were all a plenty. They do try change it up a bit too to give some variety. Equally the drinks are good and well stocked, and there’s slushy and ice cream for the kids. ||Room for improvement|Check in was slow, we were waiting over 20 minutes as we arrived with a coach party and there was just 1 on reception, annoying when you’ve been travelling for ages. Equally, the queues at the bars at the pool and where the evening entertainment is, are ridiculous. There’s often only one on, meaning you’re queuing for 15 mins at a time to get a drink which is frustrating. This might be because they’ve dialled down staffing out of peak season, but it makes wait times a bit silly.||All in all, a good stay with the family and we would recommend it

We have just spent 7 nights at Carema Splash Fergus hotel. This was our first all inclusive experience and we feel we lucked out choosing this resort. Everything from start to finish has been an incredible experience and we cannot fault this place at all. The food was outstanding (delicious, great variety, catered for different diets, plenty of fresh fruit and veg, local choices and items for kids to enjoy who prefer simpler dishes), drinks were plentiful, cleanliness was spot on, housekeeping were super attentive (beds turned down, bins emptied, bathroom floor mopped daily). ||The staff here are unlike any other place we've stayed. They feel like a big family who genuinely care for you and your family's experience. The kids are heartbroken to leave and already want to re-book for next year. There are activities on 6 times a day (yoga, aqua-aerobics, darts, pool, archery, football, cocktail making fun, to name a few). Evening entertainment each night starts with a kids disco at 8.30pm and then a different show each night at 9.30pm. The kids club is a massive room with various consoles, board games, colouring etc and a wee cinema showing a different movie each day. We will miss Goofy, Fethi, Danny, Claudia and Maria who all put in 150% all of the time. Gabriela and her team on reception were extremely efficient, knowledgeable and helpful. The bar staff worked tirelessly serving us from morning until night, and the chefs and waiting staff managed to create incredible dishes and serve hundreds of hungry families daily, whilst keeping everything clean and tidy. The food was the highlight for me. The lifeguards were always attentive and polite too. The resort itself is stunning with the beach right on its doorstep too.|We really can't fault this place and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing family holiday where you'll be looked after extremely well.

We have just returned from a week long family holiday ( 8 & 9 yr olds) and have had such an amazing time. Prior to and since booking the holiday we have been avid watchers on the reviews. Some have been quite scathing and I can't fathom why from our experience. ||The complex is located in a quiet area of northern Menorca close to Fornells, there is not much surrounding the complex so be prepared for that if you like the hustle and bustle, however this certainly did not reduce our experience, to be honest the fact there wasn't any stereotypical British bars was reassuring this was indeed a holiday.||The facilities were tremendous, the room, pools and dining areas were all impeccably maintained, we had read so many complaints, yet could not disagree more. Rooms cleaned everyday with fresh towels and bedding. Pools were clean and no loose tiles that we experienced, the fake grass surrounding the pool was great, yes it did get wet but no where near as slippy as the standard tiles and hot slabs etc.. The dining are was clean and well attended to. The food was terrific, so many options of cultural taste. If you are looking for beige fast food then this is not for you, as for previous "bland" comments, I would love to hear where you normally eat as this dining experience was on point with so much fresh fruit, veg and hand cooked meats/fish, the flat steaks being a personal favourite.||The Splash park was a highlight for our kids. Both safe and fun with a variety of slides to keep them occupied for a time. We played tennis and table tennis, which required a small deposit but we had a heap of fun there. ||Beach close to the hotel was great, low depth meant our kids could enjoy with the worry of getting too far out and not being able to touch the surface.||Finally, the staff, they were amazing. From the housekeeping, reception to the kitchen staff and entertainment, all went the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed our stay.||This is our 2nd Fergus hotel and we have no reservations in booking again. ||In my opinion, read the negative reviews, take certain points on board but please go and experience for yourself. ||A great time had by all, thanks for all involved, keep us the good work.

We was there for 7 days all inclusive, so..... So good things, the hotel is great for children, there are 2 pools one 50cm, only for small children and the other 110 cm. For such older people, the water in the pool was generally very cold in the month of October but you go to get used to it, and indeed there are also 3 slides and such a large splash park for children but there the water is also icy. The rooms are nice and spacious, large. The mainstays are the stairs if you have a small child with a baby stroller , you just have to carry on stairs. The beach is close and the water in the sea is much warmer than in the pools. You can also feed the fish because they are really huge. Just take a piece of cake from breakfast, and come. Unfair food is just like that, breakfast is a total monotony every time, bacon eggs, etc. We missed themed dinners, for example, some Spanish specialties, or they should just introduce at least frying an omelette, or something similar, maybe 2-3days was good food. One more thing before you got a key you have to pay a tax 42.50. Or something similar ( of course it's a tourist tax) Unfortunately we not back there. But it's not about bad reviews or hotels. , We want see something else.

All great and I really recommend this hotel. Nice food, a lot to choose from. Great kids club, very friendly staff, many attractions for children in any age. Good access with pushchair anywhere in the hotel considering location on the hill. Only 4 stars for service just because there was no coffee in the restaurant at lunchtime and evening meal. And no help with luggages on the way back. It is challenging to get from the room, which is on a hill, down to reception and where the bus stop is.

I rarely write reviews, but I felt I had to after staying at FERGUS Club Carema Splash. On arrival, the hotel looks like it could be amazing – the location is great, the splash park is fun for kids, and the layout has real potential. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.||The staff are the biggest letdown. Most seem uninterested, unhelpful, and in some cases, outright rude. There’s no warmth or hospitality – just a feeling that guests are an inconvenience rather than valued visitors. Basic requests often take multiple attempts to get sorted, and you can tell morale is low among the team.||The hotel itself is in serious need of refurbishment. Rooms are outdated, air conditioning is hit or miss, furniture is worn, and the overall cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. What could be a vibrant, family-friendly resort instead feels neglected and poorly managed.||The food was by far one of the most disappointing aspects. It’s the same dishes almost every day, and the quality is well below what you’d expect for the price. There’s very little variety, limited fresh options, and hot food is often lukewarm. Even the snacks between meals are repetitive and uninspired.||This hotel has so much potential – the location and splash park could make it a great family destination – but without major improvements in staff attitude, food quality, and general upkeep, it’s impossible to recommend. We left feeling frustrated and underwhelmed.||Until FERGUS invests properly in upgrades and staff training, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

We spent 7 nights at Carema Splash Fergus hotel as a group of families totalling 10. This was 3 of the groups first abroad holiday experience and we feel we picked an fab resort. Everything from start to finish has been amazing, the staff, the hotel, cleanliness (from OCD people too), food options and we just cannot fault this place at all. The food was GREAT, so please ignore other reviews, it was delicious, great variety, catered for different diets and allergens which is MASSIVE for us with 3 children in our group that have allergies and 1 who’s are severe and we did not have a single allergic reaction. Everything was clearly labled with allergens and nothing was too much for the staff, the chef introduced himself to me on day 1 to explain everything and all staff we spoke to thereafter was very efficient and very accommodating! There was plenty of meat/fish options, fresh fruit and salad, vegetable dishes, local choices, soups and even a ‘show dish’ each night and items for kids to enjoy who prefer more basic dishes), drinks were a good choice and quite literally on tap!||Cleanliness was spot on, housekeeping were super attentive (beds made and towels changed daily, sheets I think were changed every couple of days).||The staff here are unlike any other hotel we've stayed, and we’ve been to the big guns as such and not a smidge on these staff. They instantly make you feel like family, and genuinely care for you and your family's holiday experience. There are activities on all day and night some examples are yoga, aqua-aerobics, darts, pool, archery, football, cocktail making fun class, just to name a few. Evening entertainment each night starts with a kids disco at 8.30pm and then a different show each night at 9.30pm. We were lucky to see a circus one where they have an outside team do an airiel hoop/rope and circus show! The kids club is a massive room and then also a secondary one next to the park, with various consoles, board games, colouring etc and little cinema area showing a different movie each day. A special mention to Goofy, Fethi, Danny, and Claudia who all put in 100% effort with every family member and they knew ALL our names from day 1 - we had 10 of us, ranging from an 8 month old all the way to 63.||The bar staff worked tirelessly serving us from morning until night, a special shout to the older bar gentleman who served our daughter a ‘San Francisco’ mocktail each day and his patience with her whilst she got the confidence to ask herself was brilliant.||The chefs and waiting staff managed to create incredible dishes and serve hundreds of hungry families daily, whilst constantly keeping everything clean and tidy, there was not a single point where we noticed a dirty table, empty try of food on the buffet etc.||The hotel resort itself is stunning with the beach right on its doorstep with steps over to a large beach again only a few minutes so a perfect location. ||We really can't fault this place and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing family holiday where you'll be looked after extremely well. Our ONLY thing we would say to just recommend to families with children in buggies, pay for premium location as it can we an uphill walk with the prams and it’s hard graft, however we as a family just shared the load. But please again don’t be put off if you haven’t done premium location as we just cracked on with it.||Anyone reading some of the ‘bad’ reviews please please don’t be put off, we have an AMAZING holiday, and we’ve been to 5* luxury hotels (pre children haha!) and honestly we had the most amazing week!

I had a fantastic stay at this apartment-hotel. The room was clean, modern, and well-equipped—perfect for a comfortable, hassle-free visit. The location was ideal, close to everything but still quiet. A special thanks to Gabriela and Martina at the front desk—they were incredibly friendly, helpful, and made check-in a breeze. Their warm welcome really stood out. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!
