Caresse, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Bodrum

We stayed at Caresse and had an absolutely wonderful time! The resort is beautiful and the room was very comfortable. We felt very well taken care of and welcome. The property has a number of spaces to eat in beautiful settings, enjoy the water and the gorgeous setting, and a fun and elegant vibe. |I would like to give a special shoutout to the staff, including (but not limited to) Elkin and the spa team. We needed to make some last minute adjustments to our plans, and the team was flexible, helpful and gracious. These kinds of special touches really show how a stellar staff can make all the difference when it comes to the experience.|Thank you to the whole team who made our stay so wonderful and memorable. I would highly recommend this resort, and hope to come back!

Cannot praise enough this fabulous Bodrum resort. Being an industry professional, I can honestly judge the quality of this hotel. It’s incredible by all means. Best service, best beach, best vibe, best guest mix, best cuisine, best Longevity SPA, etc…the list is long! For me definitely the best resort in Bodrum and top 3 in the Mediterranean. The constant presence of the owner makes such a difference, there are no mistakes here, no room for any even tiny error, it’s a perfection of hospitality. It’s a dream holiday come true. Hospitality is about human connection and this resort understands this simple yet complex philosophy. Topped with aesthetics and art, this place has it ALL. Already planning our return even before leaving it.

We recently returned from staying a week at this hotel and it was over & above our expectations! The staff were beyond kind and nothing was too much. If I could I would individually mention each and everyone!! A big thankyou to Efe for being so sweet and taking us on the buggy to see the art gallery!! There was a good variety of options for breakfast, from freshly made omelettes, to fluffy pancakes made to perfection. A special mention to Nurcan who was a ray of sunshine every morning, greeting us and everyone else with such love and care. I have to add the cows and goats that graze on the mountain next to the restaurant add to the feeling of being at one with nature. The resort is beautiful and well kept. The views are breathtaking from every angle. The room itself was cleaned immaculately and we loved the turn down service. I especially loved the spa, beautiful ambiance, wonderful facilities. Truly a wonderful experience we came back feeling relaxed and revitalised.

My husband and I are very impressed with this hotel. Besides the stunning setting, gorgeous place and relaxing seats by the sea, this hotel has great service, amazing food and a very careful attention to details|The restaurants have very good Mediterranean food. All of them are excellent, and have a variety of dishes. A big 10 to the chef of the Asian-fusion restaurant, the food is incredible! We both highly recommend the hotel and are eager to come back!

Even though I’m lucky enough to call this place home, I still find myself constantly in awe of the beauty and soul of Caresse Luxury Resort. The location is ideal secluded enough to feel private, yet perfectly connected to enjoy the vibrance of Bodrum. Whether you’re spending the day at the beach, savoring world-class cuisine, or simply taking in the sunset from your terrace, Caresse is more than just a resort it’s a lifestyle.

This quickly became one of our favorite hotels in the world. Every single thing here is top notch. Set in a beautiful cove of Gumbet Bay, you’re away from the Bodrum crowds and noise, but just a 10 minute taxi away. What sets this hotel apart is the personalized service. They staff go above and beyond to ensure you are having a wonderful stay. We have a short list of places that we return to and Caresse is now on that list.

I highly recommend Caresse Hotel! Since we arrived, all the experiences have been amazing. The beach club is one of the best we've visited in Bodrum, and since you're a hotel guest, access to the beach is included! The hotel also offers three amazing restaurants with very good service, as well as water sports, which we also tried. Hope you get the chance to go there! (:

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable—efficient, friendly, and truly top-notch. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, making our stay incredibly relaxing. The highlight, though, was the exceptional staff. We had a small mix-up with our luggage, and Umut Başdemir went above and beyond to assist us, ensuring our bags were safely couriered all the way to South Africa. His professionalism and kindness turned a stressful moment into a seamless experience. The Concierge service was also outstanding, adding a luxurious touch to our trip. We’re already looking forward to our next visit—highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking quality and care!

The most beautiful place in Bodrum. The Büyükhanlı family, who own, with such great ambiance and design, a restaurant by the sea, have created a perfect place in every sense. I highly recommend it. The Buddha Bar, Italian, and Greek restaurants offer delicious choices for dining. Congratulations from the bottom of my heart.

We stayed at both the Edition on the other side of Bodrum and the Caresse. Our room was right around the corner from the lobby with gorgeous views of the water and a bit of the hillside with the roaming cows. The resort has ample seating both at the beach and the pool. They also have a wood dock jetting over the sea. Food wise, they have a handful of options and also an onsite dessert/ice cream shop! This resort has a large resort feel in comparison to the Edition but both are gorgeous places to stay!

Best hotel we stay in Turkey. I have no words to express how much we love it. Better than the Çiragan Kempinski in Istanbul. Everything and everyone was very nice. We stayed only 4 nights and was not enough for us. We have to come back one day.

Caresse opened just last year and recently joined the Luxury Collection and Starwood. The hotel is attached to a condo village at the edge of Gumbet just outside of Bodrum proper. It is the last development on the bayside of the penninsula, providing both isolation and proximity. This isn't the place to stay to be in the nightlife scene or daily action. It is relaxing and serene. I'd originally just planned to use it as a place to sleep and have breakfast, but there were so many different and unique places to sit, rest, reflect, and recline all over the place, with great views, access to water, and elegant, modern design, that I ended up spending a lot more time on property. The hotel and condo development share a common entrance with security. Once waved in, you head down the hill (either in your car or taxi or in one of the resort's golf carts) to the hotel. Because of this layout and the hotel's location, you won't see anyone who isn't a guest or hotel staff during your stay, as no one can or does just wander by. The arrangement does make it a little less likely that you'll just spontaneously head off the property, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. My room had a wide, clear view of both the sea and the infinity pool. Stunning. I enjoyed the modest beach and the pool immensely, as well as the ample chairs and interesting seats of every kinds sprinkled all over the place, including the wooden decks jetting over the sea. Food and beverage on the beach isn't ready yet, but a staffer often patrols the area for orders and then retrieves them from the pool lounge, up a couple of floors. I often have a bit of trouble sleeping due to just small amounts of light getting in at night, and even due to little red lights on smoke detectors and clock displays. Caresse has this down to a science, and I slept perfectly because the room achieves complete darkness. Breakfast in the Glass restaurant on the outside deck overlooking the pool and the sea was an ample mix of Turkish and European/American fare. Internet service was solid and reliable. Caresse proved to be a perfect surprise after I'd booked it just to see the new SPG/Luxury hotel at a great rate. The staff doesn't seem large, but their friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Looking forward to a return.

This is our first trip to Bodrum didn't know what to expect. We booked 3 nights here and 2 night at the mandarin oriental. We were scared to stay here due to lack of information, distance and reviews. You can't believe how disappointed we are to leave this place. The resort is one-year-old everything is brand new. It's absolutely one of the most beautiful and elegant resorts We've visited. The views are spectacular, the infinity pool is endless, the beach and dock makes you want to stay forever. Honestly the decor, lighting, service is incredible. I don't have anything bad to say. You really need a car and it's not that far from restaurants or small villages. Speak to Ali, he is one of the managers here he'll give you a ton of information about where to dine, where to go, history of the place.
