Cargo Club Cafe & Restaurant

The food is really good, especially the ban cha (noodles with meatballs and grilled pork). The waitress, Vi, is very friendly and nice. The cafe gives the stake house vibe, but it's open-air and chill. It’s also next to the main river. Would come back!

We had 3 amazing meals here, the first night in Hoi An we had dinner overlooking the river and the view was beautiful. There were 9 of us and the waitress dealt easily with all the split bills. I had a pizza and my wife had pho, both excellent. We then went back the following night just the two of us. I had sea bass curry which was excellent. We also had a snack lunch of fresh spring rolls, SO tasty.

A really lovely restaurant with authentic, well-prepared food and friendly service. My dish was excellent and my server, Vi, was warm and attentive, which made the experience especially pleasant. The river view with the lantern boats created a beautiful atmosphere and was a perfect setting for the meal.

Most of the guests here are polite and respectful international visitors, which makes the overall vibe calm and pleasant. The staff are friendly, gentle, and attentive, making you feel comfortable and relaxed from the moment you arrive. The food is simply excellent – fresh ingredients, cooked to perfection, and beautifully presented. Every dish was a delight. The drinks menu is also diverse and pairs wonderfully with the meal. A perfect spot for both couples and groups of friends who want to enjoy authentic food in a dreamy riverside setting. Highly recommended!

We stopped in to Cargo Club for a special dinner on Christmas Day and were helped by Hien. She was friendly, spoke very good English and did a great job making sure our meal was correct. She checked back multiple times which we appreciated. The tomahawk steak was delicious, as were the lobsters and salads.

We were walking around the ancient town and saw this place that had very lovely atmoshere so decided to give it a try. Food was just decent overall, except for the Silken Tofu Salad, which was very tasty. Service was okay. Maybe it was because of too much seating (it’s huge inside with 2 floors)? AC on the 2nd floor was a plus. Tbh we ate at one of their sister restaurants in Taste Vietnam restaurant chain and it was better experience.

Drove here from Danang just to see Hoi An and ended up in this restaurant for lunch. Glad we did because food was great. We missed western breakfast so glad they serve until pm.
