Carib Sushi

We've had mixed experiences with our dining out in Grenada, but this was one of the better ones. Great food, prepared by Japanese sushi chefs, was the highlight. Service was pleasant if a bit disorganized, and the space both indoors and out was crowded. We would go back again.

Very impressed with this place. Seems there are very few sushi places here. Glad I came to this one! The service could be a little better.

November 2024 Chef Leo's sushi balance and flavour, creativity and presentation skills are superb. If you are a sushi fan, you will not regret dining here. We had the Alex and Sarah rolls, seaweed salad and fried ice cream for dessert. The servers are friendly and gave us good advice on where we could get local food. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I'll eat here every weekend if I can :) They are very consistent with great dishes, and the staff is wonderful. Be sure to try the crispy tuna rolls and the fried ice cream :)

I see a lot of reviews on here about bad service. I’m not sure about those experiences, but the best thing about this place was the service and attentiveness. We ate here on a Wednesday at 7pm. We had calamari, seared tuna and special tuna roll. I agree with other reviews that the fish is really fresh, but there was something left to be desired. Maybe we just didn’t make the best choices. This is the most I’ve paid for sushi and so I guess that set my expectation really high.

Wow! Just wow! The freshest fish I've ever eaten. If you're staying nearby, run, don't walk. This place is hopping with med students, tourists, and locals. The service was superb.

Rude incompetent staff. I booked a table when I arrived they had no record of it despite me having a WhatsApp conversation with them making the booking. I was then told that I would have to wait for a proper table not the high cramped benches and was told that they are really busy with reservations even though I did have a reservation. The lady then told me I would have to wait for someone else to not show up to then get a table we waited with no answer or explanation from anyone and then was finally seated with such a stink attitude from the waitress. The food was mediocre at best cheap off cuts of tuna for the crispy tuna and greasy as hell spring rolls. Just save your money time and energy and go anywhere else but here. To top it off there was a roach running around the restaurant the fastest moving thing in this place cause Lord knows you will get nothing fast from these people.

Really enjoyed our dinner here last night. It’s a pretty busy area with great restaurants to choose from. I learned that this sushi owner is the same one who ran Port Marina sushi spot before it closed. Fast service. Great selection. Reasonably priced. Wear mosquito spray if you opt for a table outside.
