Faraway Nantucket Hotel Review | Hotels Above Par

"Tucked into the corner of Sister Ship with a street entrance, I found Cymbals Café to be the ideal quick-stop for strong coffee and small-batch donuts, and its ivy-walled, umbrella-shaded outdoor courtyard with comfy rattan furniture makes it a perfect place to linger over a latte (or later, The Salty Spritz) and chat with travel companions." - Lindsay Cohn

Here’s your review: ⸻ I had such a peaceful and productive time working at Caribbrew in Newark, NJ. The atmosphere was calm and inviting—perfect for focusing and getting things done. I started my day with their House Mocha, which gave me the perfect boost to dive into my work. For lunch, I ordered the Cajun Egg Turkey Sausage sandwich, and wow… it was amazing! So flavorful and satisfying. The hospitality and service were top-notch, and I even ran into the pleasant surprise of finding out that many people I know also frequent this spot. It’s clear this place has a strong community feel. Overall, an incredible experience—highly recommend!

I was happy to see a new cafe in the Newark area! When I arrived I had to circle but found parking on the street. I walked into the cutest place! I ordered the frozen hot chocolate and it took only a few minutes. When I tried it was very rich. I wish it was a little sweeter but all in all, I enjoyed my experience!

The coffee was great! Pricey but good. Small but good. They need to post a price list. The lemon rum cake had good flavor but was very dense. I also had the patties and I hate to say but they were not very good. Stick with the coffee!

Small coffee spot on Clay, between McCarter Hwy and Spring Street. Less than a year old, formerly only online, this is their first building. Parking is a little tough in that area, but worth the trip

The Barista was super friendly, attentive and helped me decide on my drink (wasn't sure what I wanted). The café is a total vibe, great music selection, spacious, plenty of seating, and the decor is fun, calming and welcoming. I wanted to support a local spot and got carried away with my order. The only miss from everything I ordered was the pineapple upside down cake, but again I ordered seven items and those ALL hit. The patties, were flakey and flavorful, The truffle egg sandwich is definitely a must have if you like truffles. Definitely plan to visit again.

This coffee shop might be small, but it has such a big heart. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. The barista greeted me with a smile and recommended their seasonal latte, which turned out to be amazing. The shop has a cozy layout with just enough seating for a comfortable crowd. It feels intimate and personal, not like a big chain. The coffee itself was rich and flavorful, and clearly made with care. The pastry I tried was soft, fresh, and the perfect size to enjoy with my drink. The vibe is relaxed and friendly, and it feels like everyone there is a regular. Prices are affordable and totally worth it. This is the kind of place you instantly fall in love with.
