I tried to enjoy my stay but since is under renovation is a little hard. I'm a handicapped person and the room was nothing accessible. It had a bathtub and the toilet was too low and no handicap bars. The ADA room was on the second floor and there is no elevator. The pool is great but the chair for handicapped people is broken. I think we'll give them a second chance when renovations are ready.

The Hotel is Basic. Dont Expect a Butler. Its Very Clean. No Frills Place. But Very Clean and Comfortable. Has Good Breakfast. And best of All Great AC. Excellent Pool. And Lots of Space to Run around in.

Thanks to all the staff from the hotel. Every 2 months I stay in this place. I am very excited for the next chapter of the hotel with Hilton. Very soon will be a Hilton Spark. The remodeling is going fast. Ponce is Ponce

Upon staying I encounter a strong smell which resulted in us finding mold in the room, after the 1st night i woke up with bedbug bites all over my side nd arms. My baby got bit up too we ended up leaving that day and didn't stay for the 2nd night we couldn't tolerate the smell and bites. they are remodeling thr entrance i say they need to remodel the entire building and rooms and get rid of those nasty beds.

I had a disappointing experience during my recent stay. The in-room cooler wasn’t working, which caused my milk to spoil — not ideal when you’re relying on it. Worse, a cabinet unexpectedly fell on my foot, which could have caused a serious injury. I reported both incidents and did receive a follow-up, but no meaningful action was taken. Given the circumstances, I expected at least some form of compensation or gesture of goodwill, but nothing was offered. I hope management considers how situations like this reflect on the guest experience and takes steps to do better in the future.

Low maintenance even thought they are remodeling the place is dirty an too mush noise. Rooms need update fast!! The Cofee maker should be replace. Rust in lamps really bad. Some pics included

This hotel used to be the Howard Johnson's years ago now is called Caribe in Puerto Rico The people are amazing the services group I never seen this place so beautiful before the upgrade is amazing with refrigerators microwaves and LED TV room service was excellent My bet was fixed everyday on my king size room 214 Yes if you come to Puerto Rico I recommend this hotel safety location friendly people great food very close by and close to the town where they have so much activities It has been a blessing thank you so much got even hotel and staff The pool maintenance I give them a hundred percent water was well balanced I am a CPO certified pool operator and the pool is so beautiful and well treated that I have to mention it thanks again

Please don't ever stay here!! The most disgusting experience we ever had..more like a low class motel. The staff at night was rude flickering their fingers at you if they didn't want to hear your complaint. They have different rules according to your looks. The room was wet and very humid unless you kept the temperature at 55. We woke up soaking wet and grossed out. They have no ventilation in the bathroom. The room was dirty and the bathroom had mold. The rugs had stains that looked like blood and the lamp and tv did not work. I was charged $595 for three nights and an early check-in which resulted in them not making our beds...This was the worst experience we ever had in all the years of travel. I would give them 0 stars if I could. The front desk refused to give me a receipt and claimed they had to tweak my bill! They overcharged me and undercharged my sister-in-law for the same stay. This hotel needs renovations and training of an unprofessional staff. No one deserves to have to endure this musty and unclean experience for the high cost. Please don't stay here ever!!!

My group and I just had the worst experience with this place. The afternoon staff were rude, disrespectful, withheld info about our accommodations, and actively targeted us with differentiated rule enforcement. I get that there's a lot of anti-tourist sentiment in PR right now because some mainlanders have been complete douchebags and jerks. And because of that, I spoke with group about being respectful, following all COVID-related rules, and being good guests. We'd been on the island for 6 days before checking into Caribe Hotel with absolutely no problems whatsoever, until we got here. When we arrived before check-in, they allowed us to store our luggage in a meeting room. However, when we went back later post-check in my group was yelled at for going into the room (with the staff member there) because "we can't have this many people in the room". This was after my group was yelled at while quietly waiting against a wall in the lobby while I was getting the room keys, being told, "We cannot have this many people in here! You have to leave!". On our second night there, we came back into the hotel from dinner and the same staff person yelled at the group for forgetting to do the temp check and hand sanitizing. Again, we had no problem doing it - but the staff person's tone and volume were as if we had intentionally forgotten to do it. Here's the thing, though - I personally observed many people not wearing masks in the lobby, doing the temp check and sanitizing, and none of them were yelled at like we were. The kicker was the fact that at no point during our stay, until I called on the second night, was I informed that we were provided free breakfast as part of our stay. I even heard the same staff woman tell others that they did, but she never said anything to me. I checked my reservation, and there's no mention of it, so I figured that we didn't get it with our rooms. But we did, and we were never informed. That's breakfast for 20 people that I didn't have to buy for them elsewhere. The pool water was dirty and cloudy. The rooms looked like they hadn't been updated since the 60's. The location was out in the middle of nowhere. The one star is for the morning staff, who were kind and helpful. I would highly recommend NOT staying here.

It's all a façade. Once you walk in, it looks so glamorous. White piano. Beautiful furniture. Here is why I gave it one star. 1. I stayed in room 125. The beds felt like we were laying down on bricks. 2. The bathroom was leaking hot water. The bathroom don't look like a bathroom that belongs to a hotel. The bathroom look like they belonged in a studio apartment in the Bronx. They had shower curtain. Shower Curtains, that very unsanitary to a hotel that receives patrons in and out on a daily basis. 3. Elevator don't work. 4. The exterior looked like it belonged to the apartments building from the 60's. 5. Staff weren't helpful at all. Bad place to stay

The manager at the front desk was talking on her cellphone and was in a bad mood, she was not trying to help us at all. We paid for our reservation and when we arrived there where more fees to pay. Horrible experience, do not recommend at all.
