Yes, it is on the beach, but there really isn't much of a beach...mainly rock to water; the water isn't really safe to swim in either. You have to wear a wristband, like they give you at carnivals, that you are supposed to be worn at all times so they know who their guests are...even though they say they know who the guests are. Most of the staff speaks English, which was a plus because my boyfriend doesn't speak Spanish. The rooms are not clean, the breakfast that you can get free....with the coupons they give you, are nothing special or even filling. You have to order dinner at least an hour ahead (we didn't even bother eating here because the price of the food was ridiculous). Our toilet overflowed one night and it took us waiting 30 minutes and going back up to the desk to get someone there; her idea of cleaning was wiping the toilet down...we ended up going to the store (20 minutes away) and getting stuff ourselves. The front desk lady that was there in the evenings (curly hair) wasn't the friendliest, but she wasn't evil either...she at least explained stuff well. They don't always lock both locks when they leave after cleaning your room. You have to sign a paper/contract when you borrow beach towels, that you pay $25 for if you don't return. If you leave stuff on your bed when they come to clean, they will move it. Paint is peeling off the walls, the pool isn't clean and there is nobody to take care of it. The owner is rude and never there. I would NOT recommend the place at all. They also don't have people there overnight...so if you have an issue, like other guests being way too loud (talking normal outside your room where you can hear them through the poorly connected door and windows) you won't get anybody and they don't feel bad about it either.
