I went there for my second time attending a Martial Art Tournament. I want to let you know that is is a very nice hotel. Broad rooms , good illumination, and a nice view (Tower 2). The hall is beautifully decorated. The staff always willing to help. Pool area outstanding. There are several restaurants but I boight groceries from The Market insude the hotel with good variety of foods. I highly recommend the Caribe Royale no matter the type of the activity you attend.

I stayed at the Caribe Royale for three nights during the Florida Council of Teachers of Mathematics conference and definitely felt like royalty staying here. The experience at this hotel was excellent from my first day to my last day. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The housekeeping department was excellent, and the bed was super comfortable. The resort is definitely beautiful inside and outside. The waterslide, pool, and hot tub were definitely amazing and super relaxing. The staff at the hotel across all areas were very friendly and accommodating. I truly appreciated how they made me feel welcome at the hotel. The only drawbacks with the hotel were that there were very long lines in some areas, the game room was out of order, and the valet area was a little tight at times. Overall, Caribe Royale provided an excellent experience during my stay, and I will definitely be returning.

I was here for a conference and the resort is very nice. The king pool suite was gorgeous and I could sit by that window all day. The living room I didn’t really use because it echoed badly when on the phone or watching TV. I would like to see more grab and go breakfast and coffee options as the Starbucks gets slammed. Also would be nice to have a separate pool for adults or maybe adult only pool hours. Wasn’t really fully able to enjoy the pool and spas due to large groups of unsupervised children splashing, swarming and doing pyramids in the pool and young children in the hot tubs. The conference catering menu could also use more variety in cuisine styles other than Latin. Would also be nice addition to have shuttles to and from MCO airport.

One of the nicest Hotels I have stayed in while visiting Orlando. The rooms were clean, and a good size. We had a smaller suite with a small office set up, which was great for me to work at. The pool and waterfall were beautiful. There is a water slide there for kids and an additional smaller kid pool. The food was not great for the price but it's a hotel so it's to be expected to be expensive. The staff was great by the pool bar and in the Stadium Restaurant. The front desk process was really good. There was a HUGE FFA convention there with hundreds of teens staying there and I think the hotel did a fantastic job of keeping everything running very efficiently.

Came here with my family for vacation. We spent a couple days we stayed at their villas overall we had a great experience. They were very accommodating. The food was great. The pool areas and activities were great and the nightlife was also great as well. You will have to pay extra for parking but apart from that everything is as is originally communicated. Highly recommended.

Google
Great resort, we'll definitely be going back! Great location to the parks and different restaurants. The property is massive! Definitely don't feel like you are in Florida. Big pool is busy but fun! The smaller pool is definitely more laid back and quiet. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. They were always cutting or trimming the landscape, but it all looked beautiful because of the hard work!

Disappointing Experience – Nothing “Royale” About It We’re currently staying at Caribe Royale Orlando for 10 nights, and we’re only on day 3—yet the experience so far has been incredibly underwhelming and frustrating for a hotel that markets itself as a luxury resort. Here are the key issues: No Assistance Upon Arrival: Despite booking a suite, no one offered to help with our luggage at check-in. Not what you'd expect from a supposedly high-end property. Missing Basic Amenities: Our suite had no glassware, no hand soap, no lotion, and not even coffee mugs—yet there’s a coffee maker in the room. Are we supposed to drink coffee with our hands? Ridiculous Charges for Simple Requests: After bringing a bottle of wine back to our room, we were told we’d need to pay $5 to rent wine glasses, $2 for a corkscrew, and $5 for delivery, with a 40–45 minute wait. When we called guest services, they suggested we drink wine from coffee mugs instead—seriously? Housekeeping “Solutions”: Eventually, housekeeping brought plastic cups, paper coffee cups, body wash, and lotion—but still no hand soap. Room Maintenance Problems: The “rain shower” feature only works if you hold the button down the entire time. One of our lamps also has a broken switch and flickers constantly, so we can’t use it. Misleading Pet Welcome: We’re traveling with our cat and were greeted with a gift bag for a dog. A small detail, but telling. Parking Confusion: At check-in, we were told self-parking was $15/night. When we went back the next day to register a rental car, we were told it was $34/night. After we pushed back, they honored the $15 rate, but parking is uncovered, far from our tower, and always full—we’ve had to circle for a spot and still walk quite a distance. No Covered Walkways: It was raining when we arrived, and we had to walk around the pool in the rain with our luggage, getting soaked. Same issue when walking to dinner. There’s zero overhead coverage between towers and the main building where restaurants are. It’s absurd for a resort this size not to offer any rain protection. Pool Is NOT Heated as Advertised: One of the selling points for us was the heated pool, which is advertised as being kept at 80–84°F year-round. We’re currently at the pool and it’s absolutely freezing. There is no way this pool is heated as claimed. This entire stay has felt like a bait-and-switch. For a resort that markets itself as “Royale,” there has been nothing luxurious or accommodating about our experience so far. We travel often and have stayed at many hotels—this has been one of the most disappointing. Unfortunately, we still have seven nights to go. If anything meaningfully improves during the rest of our stay, I’ll gladly update this review—but as of day 3, this is what we’ve experienced.

I had a fantastic stay at Caribe Royale! The staff were attentive and made sure everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. The room was spotless, and I was especially impressed with the climate control—I'm someone who likes a cold room, and we were able to get it perfectly chilled. The shower had excellent water pressure, which was a nice bonus, and the pool was a lot of fun too. Overall, a great experience and I’d definitely stay here again!

Yelp
We went for a quick new year's trip and it was fun. There are not many places to eat inside the resort but the kids loved the pool and water slide. Even though it was winter and pretty cold for Florida, both the pool and water slide were heated so it was warm and the kids could play in the pool even at night. We liked the chocolate houses/village at the front when you came in and the decorations for Christmas were pretty. It was fun for a quick trip, I only gave four stars even though it was fun, MM because I would have liked there to be more things to do other than the pool and more restaurants inside. (We left to get dinner one night due to limited options.)

Yelp
UPDATE: Saw response from business. I am not stressed. I'm pointing out a law violation. I'll paraphrase one bullet point from the law: "Sign placement: Signs must be legible and visible to people entering the parking area. They should be placed no less than 5 feet from the ground and no more than 8 feet above it." The sign she is stating is not prominently displayed as the law suggests. They think a little screen 3ish feet from the ground qualifies. It doesn't. I will include your response in my complaint to the state. Original Review: This hotel is breaking the law with their parking lot. The Florida measure (HB 271), which state lawmakers uniformly approved, requires garage and lot owners to prominently display their rules and rates, This hotel believes that law doesn't apply to them. Nowhere is it posted in clear visibility that their day rate is $32 **OR** that the day rate is activated when you're there for longer than 60 minutes. They will ignorantly state that their "fully transparent" parking rates are listed on their website. It's clear the bright minds at this hotel think they can skirt the law on this one.

Yelp
Spent a total of 5 days here for a big multi-day international pool tournament and had an amazing time. For as big as this location was, they truly made it feel like home. Their sports bar in particular was top of the line with ample seating either upstairs or downstairs and with golf simulator bays available for rental. Very cool as they had plenty of games to choose from outside of golf like soccer challenges, baseball, and football. Their rum bar in particular had some of the most enjoyable staff. Bartenders Cole and Gio were some of the most genuine people I had the pleasure of getting to know while frequenting this bar. Their manager Danieliz truly knows how to foster a great team and it was great chatting with her as well. Overall they all provided us with some great local recommendations for things to do and eat. Overall a great experience and the staff here really made it the most enjoyable.

Yelp
Caribe Royale is one of my top choices for a staycation. Recently renovated, modern decor, great location, and plenty of activities for a fun-filled day.

Lauren B.

Yelp
I'm a Disney girl, but sometimes staying on Disney property isn't always realistic. Caribe Royale has become my go to spot for Orlando stays. The rooms are always spotless and comfortable. I've never had any issues with staff or noise within the resort. You also cannot beat the location as it is just about 10 minutes away from Disney parks!

Tammi H.

Yelp
My grandson and son in law got chemical burns from the hot tub! It took an hour to check in. The place is pathetic.

Tabitha T.

Yelp
We spent a few nights here during Spring Break. I will start with the cons first and end with the pros. The cons were dining is pricey, however the food is tasty along with wonderful service. The check-in was wonderful with courteous and helpful hotel staff. The facility is clean and we love the desserts at the Market. They are fancy and tasty. My teens really enjoyed the virtual reality/simulators at the sports bar. Another con is the pool. If you don't get there early you won't get a lounge chair. There was an event happening one day so an area where chairs are usually available was in use. We were only able to spend an hour by the pool. Lesson learned for next time. The room was clean and was spacious for 3 people. It was convenient to have a free shuttle to Disney attractions. PS We wanted to give 3.5 stars which is not an option. So we are subtracting one star for price and one for unavailable chairs.

Yelp
!!STAY AWAY!! Where to begin with this place. The long check-in process? The subpar customer service? The less than mediocre food?

Steve M.

Yelp
We stayed here all week and it's a very big resort . The villa we stayed in had a kitchen, washer/dryer and two bedrooms and a lanai for sitting outside and screened in which was good. Had two pools , one with a slide and mostly crowded with kids but the other was smaller with mostly adults for a more calming atmosphere. Only quirk I had was after folks spending for the rooms they hit you for 30 bucks a day for parking. Otherwise great experience all around and the staff were great and helpful.

Yelp
Trip started off on the wrong foot. I had called prior to showing up about the military and veterans deals that the resort offers. I was told to show my ID at the front desk. When I did this, they denied me the percentage off, and the waiving of the daily resort fee. This place sort of scammed me. I didn't throw my hands up or make a big deal out of it, as we just went with the flow. This was my first time coming here, and it was for an event the resort was hosting. Nobody at the front desk could even give me any information about the event, and didn't even know which building the event was in. My first 20 minutes in this resort was telling, and it did not improve that much from there. The food was not that impressive at any of the restaurants other than the steakhouse, where we dropped a $500+ tab. We both regret giving the resort more of our money after they lied to us, but it was worth it. Food and service were good only there. Bison short ribs rock. All restaurants and bars include the tip/service charge when you make a purchase. A handful of employees had sour attitudes with us and other customers near us when we would not tip more than the already included 18%. Seems a little entitled by the employees. It took me over an hour to get closed out at the sports bar one night because the server got mad that I didn't tip her more than the 18% included tip and then proceeded to ignore me with a sour attitude when I asked her for a copy of the receipt. Full disclosure, I would have rather stayed at the motel 6. You couldn't pay me to come back to this place.

Yelp
I have been to the Orlando area over a hundred times, we always stay on Disney property. This was the first time we planned a trip not on Disney property. The trip was planned at the last minute, and I read the review of Caribe Royal and remember driving by it. I liked how it was only 20 minutes from the airport and less than 10 minutes from Disney Springs. We planned this trip to sit by the pool and go to Disney property for dinner. First, we arrived very late at night, 3:00 in the morning, due to a delayed flight. I called the hotel ahead of time to let them know and was thinking that our room would be all set when we arrived, but it wasn't. There was an issue with the room that they gave us and we weren't able to get into it, I was extremely frustrated because I called ahead of time and it was 3:00 in the morning. I went to management the next day and they were accommodating and refunded one day of the resort fee. The lobby of the resort is beautiful, it is very clean and bright. There are also a nice few areas that you can sit with your family to have dinner or drinks near a TV. The room- The rooms are huge! There are only two of us, but it was so nice having the space. I liked having the large fridge and lots of table space in the front room. The beds were large, but I thought the sheets could be softer. The bathroom didn't have a fan, which was strange and would cause it to get foggy in there. This is a GREAT room for a family. The pool- I enjoyed the pool. As adults, we went down the slide and thought it was fun, a kid would LOVE it. I enjoyed the waterfall feature. I liked to sit near it because it was relaxing to look at and listen to. The temperature of the pool was perfect. They had a DJ on the weekends, I liked the music, but I wish the DJ was more interactive. We were there at Easter time and they had activities such as the Easter bunny walking around and an Easter egg hunt for the kids. You have to wake up EARLY to get chairs. Hotels that I normally go to have a gate around the pool so the pool doesn't open up till a specific time. However, there is no gate here, so you can reserve a chair anytime. I would go down at 7 AM and there were barely any spots left. I think it was a little ridiculous because people were using anything to "reserve" a chair, for example, I saw cans on a chair. The staff at the resort is lovely! They are so kind and helpful. They are walking around and asking how they can help you. During the heat of the day they were passing around eucalyptus towels and frozen grapes. I also enjoyed how they had chair covers for the lounge chairs, not just towels. I did the "walking trail". I don't know if that is how I would describe it because it is mostly in a parking lot. They have a nice large gym. They also had pickleball and tennis courts. One thing I didn't like was there was no locker room or showers. We had a late flight and there was no place for us to shower after swimming and before our flight. They have buses to Disney property, the times are set and you have to reserve them ahead of time. We did not use them and used Uber/Lyft instead which was easy. Overall, we liked the resort and the staff there. We would return if we wanted to do another trip off Disney property. My husband enjoyed the Stadium Club, be sure to check out that review.

Yelp
I stayed at this resort and conference center. Overall, it was very pleasant and the resort was beautiful. It had so much to offer and I can see it being a great family getaway to Orlando. It was very close to Universal. The resort had stores, markets and restaurants. It was so convenient. The conference center was huge and there were clearly marked signs, so everything was easy to find. The rooms were also suite style and were spacious. The staff were also friendly. I'm glad that our company chose this resort.

Brian B.

Yelp
This is a great resort didn't actually stay at the hotel but it's beautiful The grounds are amazing beautiful flowers plants well up cap hospitality level of their staff above and beyond went there on a resort pass to enjoy their pool and the facilities on the grounds for the day The service at the pool was amazing people right there to bring you towels bring you ice water take your order when you're ready for lunch just top level service and hospitality take a look at the pictures the grounds are beautiful. Food at the pool bar was also excellent The yucca loaded fries amazing.

Mark D.

Yelp
They advertise a 7am shuttle service to the parks and then when you get here the earliest departure time for shuttle service is 8:15am and you have to make reservations which run out quickly. Do NOT stay here is you plan on using the shuttle service for the parks. Also the Starbucks in the lobby advertises mobile ordering and then you get here and it's not available and the lines are Huge taking at least 1/2 hour of your time to get a coffee!

Rocket C.

Yelp
Second time staying here in the last two years. Not sure I'll be back. .Both times I had difficulty checking in. Last year they didn't have my reservation and this year I booked and called to modify my stay by adding a couple days to the reservation. When I arrived they had me as a no-show and departing on the wrong day. Luckily, both times, they had availability and were able to accommodate me. During this second stay, I also had trouble with my key cards not working. I attribute this to the mix up during check in but I had to get new keys (which I was told to keep away from my phone, as if I didn't already know this), and of course meant, it was my fault they kept deactivating. One of the days, I was in a rush because I had a conference call that I needed to take in a quiet setting. My room key wasn't working, I appealed to housekeeping who took a picture of my license with their phone, then told me I had to wait for security. Sat in the foyer for the first ten minutes of my call while waiting for security. Speaking of housekeeping, was woken up at 9 am by housekeeping's loud conversation outside my door. In all, an average and frustrating stay. They've earned their three star rating.

Reagan S.

Yelp
It was a beautiful resort and was well maintained. But the hidden fees were out of this world!!!! And they didn't want to tell us! When we tried to check out via our phone, it told us we had $300 to pay in "amenities and housekeeping." Isn't that supposed to be included in an "all-inclusive" resort? And we had to pay for parking daily!! Parking we could barely find because of the karate and martial-arts tournament happening in the convention center next door. The location of the resort was perfect and i will say i enjoyed staying there but the fees soiled a whole lot of it. We did state that we will not be staying here again though and will save our money.

Heather F.

Yelp
Me and my husband stayed here recently for around 8 days. We chose to stay here again because we had stayed here 3 nights back in 2021. Let me start by saying the food there is great! From room service to the Marketplace it was all great food! The pool was nice though it was mid January so I didn't swim in the pool but I put my feet in the water. The staff in the restaurants and gift shops were incredibly kind. The biggest issue we had was a water leak in the room. This was the second or third night we were there around 8pm. I had just taken a bath and upon emerging from the bathroom my husband said there was water on the floor in the living room. I saw a big puddle on the living area room floor. He said it looked to be seeping in from the edge of the wall on the floor. He called the front desk and they sent someone up quickly. The maintenance person saw the wet floor and assumed that I had over filled the bathtub. My husband stated that that did not happen and my husband proceeded to fill the tub to the same amount that I had as the maintenance person helped clean up the water that we now discovered had leaked along the bathroom door as well. It didn't take long for water to start leaking again into the living area. The maintenance person called I think the manager and they found us a new room in a different building. They sent a hotel employee with a cart that we could load our stuff on to move it. We had a LOT of stuff with us since we were staying for 8 nights. So it was a lot for us to pack up all our stuff at 8pm at night. By the time we moved everything over it around 9:30pm. I had hoped that they would have taken some charge off of our bill due to the inconvenience but upon checkout it was not mentioned and nothing was taken off of our final bill in regards to the water leaked room. I also seemed to notice that I don't think our sheets were actually changed during our 8 night stay. Most of the days there we noticed our sheets were never 'clean.' completely. Even after returning from the Disney parks and the bed had been made, when pulling back the cover there was still a few strands of hair or a few small stains on the sheets/cover.

Nichole R.

Yelp
Our staycation here was amazing. I cannot say enough about this resort. The staff makes you feel like family everyone so nice they take that extra step to make your stay super nice. Definitely recommend this place and the food on site is so good. They have so many restaurant and dining options so many amenities and things to do at this resort.

Kenny S.

Yelp
Have stayed here twice. My experience was very positive. The on-site steakhouse was fantastic. The rooms were clean and nice. The pool area was great and had plenty of room. Good place for a weekend away or a fun place for the kids.

Sammie C.

Yelp
Resort themed hotel. Feels like a small resort you would see in Mexico. Staff was polite. The room was phenomenal, very modern two-room suite. The gym is amazing, like a mini-24 Hour Fitness. Parking is FREE!! There is a resort fee, but it's pretty hard to escape that in Orlando. Located in a good area, not surrounded by a ton of hotels. Would definitely come back again.

Cheryl M.

Yelp
The resort/conference center is very nice. The rooms are clean. The meeting spaces are large. There's something here for every family member. Arcade rooms, pool tables, outdoor pools (one for the kids) and outdoor bar, PLENTY of outdoor patio seating too. There are lots of places to eat within the property. There's even a Starbucks in the lobby! If you want to go to a theme park there's a shuttle bus available. There's a rum bar that serves great drinks and delicious tapas. If you need a place to stay in Orlando, check them out.

Christine S.

Yelp
THIS REVIEW IS OF VTHE EVENT SPACE ONLY!! The event space at this resort is pretty nice! The space is huge, so getting to the front desk was a good walk, but I can see it being popular and well organized. The staff were friendly and helpful with directions and us using our tickets (no apple wallet tickets, barcode only for events). A guest and I went to a Boxing match. The space was set up pretty well. Not a fan of how close the hotel chairs were put together, more cramped then stadium seating. The row in ground of us was NOT marked reserved, but close to the main fight "non vips" had to move and crowded our row. Points off for poor planning. The food and drink is the usual marked up beer, hotdogs and sandwiches you get at a stadium. Was expecting a bit more for a hotel venue, but I was able to get something good. Good venue. I could see coming back for more events.

Glenn K.

Yelp
Overall this is a very nice property. The rooms are huge! With a bedroom and a living room with a pull out couch. Rooms also have a mini-fridge and a microwave. Ice machine on every floor but it appears that vending machines have been removed. Signs pointing to vending remain in place. Room coffee was awful and undrinkable. Bring your own K-cups from home. On property restaurants are what you would expect. Mixed drinks are about $16 each which I think is reasonable. However, be aware an automatic 18% gratuity/ service charge is added to every bill regardless of party size or location. Then there is also a line for you to add an additional tip! Unless you ask this is not disclosed. The "Market" is crazy overpriced. Soda is $4.50 each for a 20 oz bottle. Water is $6 in the market $7 is you open the bottle of water in the room. After you bring your purchase to the counter they too ask for a tip! This is probably why they did away with the vending machines. For as nice as the property is I leave here feeling like everything was a hustle. A $200/day charge to use one of the 10x10 covered areas by the pool is exorbitant in my opinion. I don't want a second room, just a little shade! The staff were great! Everyone was helpful and went out of their way to ensure your stay was enjoyable. Security was always present but not overly present. Overall I would stay here again but I would adjust based on what I learned from this experience.

Adeline T.

Yelp
From service to location to convenience. Highly recommended and will definitely utilize this location for future stays when in Orlando.

Tiffany T.

Yelp
I stayed at the Caribe Royale for a 3 day conference. All of the staff I encountered were very kind. I even "lost" my kindle at the pool, called the lost and found department, and it was delivered to my room. The food at the conference was some of the best I've had for conferences. I was surprised to see they had poke as an option for lunch one of the days! My only comment is that it would be nice to have more vegan/veg options. Also, some of the rooms were so large, that we didn't realize there were different offerings in some of the other spaces. One of my vegetarian colleagues only ate green beans the first night. The beds were comfortable, and the suite was an OK size for 2, would be cramped for any more than 2 in my opinion. The pool was lovely, and the staff were so kind and kept stopping by to ask if I needed a towel or a covering. I had a wonderful time at the Caribe and look forward to returning for future conferences!

Cathy W.

Yelp
Updating because the hotel did reach back out for some compensation which I really do appreciate. It was hard to put a cost to exactly what that would be, but they did to an extent which is more appreciated than just words. I hope that the training for their staff gets better and people have a better experience than I did. The convenience to Disney parks is really convenient & the rooms are spacious. It's highly likely I will return to the area again but I'm unsure if I'll personally choose to stay here again. However, I truly do appreciate that I received follow up by management & Guest Services.

Ashley C.

Yelp
I love staying here! The rooms are really nice and always clean! HOWEVER, I come down here every year for American Legion Conference driving 8 hours and you would think that management would be smart in putting all the legion family in the same villas! We have hospitality rooms that try and feed people, mingle amongst other people who travel to attend, and raise money for our programs while attending....so yeah we tend to have a little noise and get rowdy. So instead of putting us apart you put us next to families who have young kids (makes no sense at all). We bring you all this clientele and MONEY...maybe you should think twice about accommodating us so you continue to have our buisness

Jamieleigh W.

Yelp
I found one security woman and two event staff awesome but every other staff person... big nope. Our servers were kind too actually but the staff around the hotel and other security seemed uptight and over people. Maybe they need a break? I don't know but it made us never want to stay here again and it's our second time. My fav thing about the hotel is the Starbucks located inside but the food is overpriced and not as good as the price. This place is just way overpriced for rooms and everything and I'd rather drive more from another hotel to where I need to go. The fact that they charge as much as they do and then charge for parking too is so .

Joelle N.

Yelp
Worst experience ever. Spending our money to stay in a dirty place, very weak management as well since we did a complaint and the manager didn't care about guest satisfaction.

Amy B.

Yelp
Hotel is nice. $15 a day to drive around for 30 minutes trying to find a parking space, with dozens of cars just parked in the street is ridiculous. They need to at least double the size of the parking lot and stop charging for the aggravation.

Yelp
Best Mommy Weekend Ever!!! I had this hotel booked for weeks and couldn't wait to visit. Seriously, my sister and I we're counting down the days. Why did we choose to visit Orlando? My cousin invited us to his baby shower, this was the perfect opportunity for us moms to escape and travel together. I researched hotels under the hashtag "OrlandoStaycation", The Caribe Royale showed up multiple times. Also, my cousin have stayed here and said great things. The new renovations were the highlight of every video. The old reviews here on Yelp were written before the hotel was completely renovated. I was told by the front desk, sales have increased since the renovations have completed. It's important to note this hotel is very clean, the hallways and rooms smell nice, smoke free, floors are clean - no food in the hallways. The staff is constantly cleaning. The pool is clean and free of bugs and debris. Most of the staff is nice, except for the servers at the Calypso's Pool Bar & Grille. Some of the women have Attitudes!! BUT we didn't let the foul mood Ms ruin our weekend. HOTEL DETAILS: Starbucks on site, and restaurants. The large pool has a slide for kids & adults (we enjoyed the slide), the kid's splash pad and play area, gym with 2hr bike rentals. I did a bike ride and struggled to find the bike path, so I road on a small side street, and parking lot. I was uncomfortable riding in certain areas because I was alone. The hotel has a spa on site, lots of conference rooms, gift shops, arcade, and so much more. The villas also has some fun features, but I didn't explore that area. BOOKING: I booked a standard queen room through the hotels site. I also applied the summer special ($25 daily food & beverage credit), which came in handy. If you live in Florida or Georgia browse the website for a "resident discount". Trust me. The food here is pricy, so the food & beverage credit came in handy. At the time my total was about $355-ish. My sister and I flew in from two different states. She arrived around 8am and took the rental car to the hotel, which was $31 to Valet - for some reason she thought it was Free! I was furious, then told her not to valet the car again. I flew in at 1pm, we did early checkin for $50. I asked for a pool view - which was extra - The front desk offered us a GREAT parking deal since I decided to upgrade. I immediately said "YES"! By the way, if you stay here Request room 1521 in tower 1 the pool viee is lovely!! My total quickly jumped to $660. Some might complain about this price, however this was the best money I ever spent on a mini vacation. We were pleased with our stay. ROOM DETAILS: As previously mentioned, this entire hotel has been renovated. Entering our room, I was in awe of the modern minimalist style of the room. All hardwood floors, accent walls, lots of space. Very comfortable. Our queen suite came with a pulled out sofa in a separate room that also had a door. Almost like a living room space with a tv, refrigerator, counter top, and working desk. The restroom has a standing shower with double shower heads, provided shampoo, conditioner and body wash pumps in the built in caddy. The sink and mirror are located outside of the restroom - I loved the personal mirror that lights in when you extend it from the wall. We stayed in most of the weekend. I am happy to share this hotel is quite in the evenings. As two busy moms, we enjoyed the piece and quiet. There are no "night swims at the pool". The pool staff shuts things down around 8:30pm. FOOD: If this is your first time visit The Carib Royale Hotel, be sure to grab breakfast at the Tropicale Restaurant. Don't bother ordering from the menu. The buffet is a better deal. The food is fantastic, fresh and the buffet is clean. There is a service charge to ensure the staff here is taken care of. Additional tip is always appreciated - I tipped extra. The servers were great! My sister and I dined here twice during our visit. I heard from other guests the steakhouse is superb! The Calypso's Pool Bar & Grille is pricey, drinks are good. We ordered appetizers, DON'T ORDER the fries or Crab tostadas (both of these items lack flavor). My sister and I had the pleasure of meeting the hotel's honorary guest- Two ducks that roamed around eating crumbs and greeting people. Would I stay here again? YES!

Yelp
I stay here once a year for business and every time I receive stellar service. You can always tell when employees are treated well because they then treat customers well. The employees are extremely kind and accommodating! Not to mention, the hotel itself is gorgeous. The location is also lovely and very close to dining, shopping, and activities. I look forward to returning annually!

Yelp
The rooms/suits are better than I expected. The staff is excellent and very attentive. The resort is huge and great for convention.

Yelp
Amazing stay at this resort. Staff was exceptional, and the room was well above my expectations. Highly suggest going to the Stadium club as well. Awesome staff and the simulators are so much fun.

Yelp
I stayed here for a 4-night conference in March 2023. I think the resort is great for both vacation and work. There are several towers that surround a large pool area (that includes a slide, waterfall and hot tub) and a conference center just behind Tower II. The resort is well laid out and easy to navigate. We found the staff to be exceptionally accommodating and kind. The food at the convention was better than most. Rooms were also large - you walk into a large seating area with a good sized couch, small desk and television and there is a large separate bedroom. The bedroom has a second desk area as well as another large television. There are a variety of onsite dining options and the resort is only about 10 minutes from Disney. There was some normal wear and tear on the doors and frames of the room, but I would come back and recommend the resort to others!

Yelp
Customer service is not in their vocabulary. They literally do not care if you are overcharged for things and/or do not care about making sure you have a good experience, regardless of how much money you spend.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed for an extended weekend. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff was wonderful! They were kind, accommodating, and helpful. The pool area was beautiful and clean. We only went to Universal Studios for Halloween Horror Nights, but I felt like it was us a great location for both Disney and Universal. I would definitely bring the rest of my family here for another vacation!

Yelp
I did not stay here, my rating is a combination from the perspective of someone who escaped a Furry convention in the quest to find food and decided to explore a beautiful Hotel resort. I was here for the Megaplex 2022 Furry con. So I'll start with their convention building: the buildings are uber massive! Just like the separate main halls. They are great for weddings or corporate outings. The temperature felt like Antarctica which is good. I never felt hot the whole time i was there. I also didn't get mauled by a bear so i was fine with a jacket. It was always cleaned, they had water fountains everywhere. Bathrooms were pristine n never broken. Security had a wonderful energy and all. My only biggie was that I don't know if it was the convention staff or hotel rules. There were no vending machines nor food options. I feel the hotel missed out on extra cash. They had a tempt table that came early but nothing during the night. I would've love not having to walk around the whole gated area to get food for my kid. Especially with my health situation. A nice samishes machine or clerk in the lobby would've made bank with us. The hotel: LIKE HOLY COW!! I waltz in there and i was mesmerized! It was like walking into Caribbean themed Disney area! Like Epcot should come to this hotel to take some pointers! Beautiful display of Cuban architecture in the lobby. Huge bar on one side, giant size roof and a ladder that takes you downward into another work of architectural art! Massive fern and moss flamingos adorn the door outside to the waterfall swimming pool with a freaking serpentine shoot. Waters so clean n blue. Filled with dead drop gorgeous men. Furries everywhere, half naked in the sun shades and pool bars. Before going out i did check out the main restaurant. The design was beautiful as everything else. A fort themed entrance fit for a Conquistador and his Reina. The prices were decent to. I was broke so i bought a samish n a amazing cookie from the cafe next to it. The cookie was delightful n everyone was buying them like they were the cure to covid. I heard the fresh baked pizza was divine to. People were waiting hours for them. There was another restaurant in the other corner but it was closed. Place was well kept and the staff was very friendly. I was legitimately sure I could've gotten away with swimming with the mermen for a while but i love my kid more than a gorgeous swimming pool with a waterfall. Filled with gorgeous men. Like i love this kid! The little fur ball comes first! I didn't feel like making that long walk back to the front to test my theory. There is no way to get in through the back without a keycard. P_P if they let me? I would've love just walking through that heavenly dream for that pizza. But alas no it was never meant to be. Maybe some day i'll marry a rich old dude for the taste of dominatrix n hidden treasures to bring me to this wonderful hotel. One mayor heads up! For the curious of course. Parking cost a whopping $34 ! Thank Furry jesus they stamped us the ticket for $12 instead. O_o i think if they lowered the parking price n upgraded to a multi level one? They would make bank with people like me that would come out of curiosity to see if that Transgender reviewer spoke some truth to how beautiful this hotel is and the freaking delicious food and eye candy. Cuz $34 a pop? Is wack for me. I get it, it's another bracket way above me. And controls who comes. But again the business is missing out with curious shenaniganers like myself.

Yelp
Came here for a well deserved vacation. The entire staff was helpful and provided great directions to get around. This hotel is about 15-20 minutes away from Walt Disney! The room i stayed in was clean and organized. The housekeepers did a good job. The hotel provided breakfast with vouchers and had a starbucks right near the lobby entrance. They have a family friendly pool and jacuzzi that is open until 10pm. They have a small pool/ping pong table in Tower 1 that is open 24/7. The entire hotel stay was good. I recommend a stay.

Yelp
I really liked this resort. It was busy yet not over crowded. The pools and hot tubs were great. The slide was fun. The gym is large and well equipped. The lobby is spacious and beautiful. Rooms are spacious and I love the layout as you close the door in between living room and bedroom which blocks off all noise. Beds were comfortable. The room was awesome overall. Only thing is that they made the parking paying now. Great stay!

Yelp
Long story and it's because we were SUPER Disappointed with our stay. Mainly due to the front desk and housekeeping. More on that later. HERE ARE THE PROS WE DID LIKE: Resort however is nice. We did not get to try out the pool but it look like it was so much fun. We ate at the restaurant next to the pool which was delicious and tasty! The bell desk was super informative. THE CONS: Rooms were clean but a tad small for a suite. We typically stay at resorts and hotels that have suites largely because we are family 5. We ended up, the last 2 nights getting a second room because of how small the rooms were. And that end up being a huge fiasco and trouble because the front desk did not know how to book that second room. When we realized we needed the second room I asked the front desk to see if the room next to us was vacant and how much it was per night. The three girls at the front desk could not figure out for the life of them if the room is available and what the cost was. They kept telling me that I needed to book the room online first. So I can see what the price was. But I told them over and over I didn't want to that esp if the room was not available. The room was going to be for our two teenage girls, and I wanted to make sure their connecting room was open. After a good 20 minutes of going back-and-forth I finally had to ask for the manager which I hate doing. And she was able to look it up within two seconds to see whether or not the room is available and what the cost was. Super frustrating having to spend my time arguing with the front desk about this. If the front desk didn't how to look this information, they should immediately brought someone senior to answer my question rather than arguing with me. We ended booking the second room. After booking the second room and because we were planning to leave late due to the time of our flight, I specifically requested that we check out late and was willing to pay for it. & Here's where I have the biggest issue. When we first initially checked in, we had just flew in at 5 AM. Due to the way our reservation was booked. We had a reservation with a Costco package starting Thursday so we couldn't check in at 5 am as our room wasn't technically ready until 3 pm. Knowing this I booked a separate reservation for us to check in at 5 AM for one night, and it was suppose to be for Wednesday. When we checked in, I asked about the second reservation starting that day, and the girl at the front desk said come to the front desk any time to check in the second room as we will be in the same room. I specifically told her I didn't want anybody bother us in the morning because we are planning to sleep in since we are just checking in at 5 am. And she said she would put a late check out on the first reservation. Great. Or so I thought. Around 11 AM on the first day, housekeeping tried to come into the room, despite as having a late check out AND having a do not disturb sign on the door. They attempted to come into our room three times even though we told him we had a late check out. Last one we had a man tried to come in and tell us we needed to leave. This was quite upsetting because 1. we were trying to sleep and 2. because my daughters were sleeping on the sofa couch. This leads to when we were checking out. Again, we have the late check out and this time and we were paying for that late check out... and despite telling the front desk of our situation when we first checked in and them assuring to us that they will notify the housekeeper. The housekeeper STILL TRIED to come into our room and kick us out. Despite the do not disturb sign, despite telling front desk numerous time of our issue. Despite telling housekeeper first time that we had a late check out, she came in and OPENED OUR DOOR a second time. At this point we were upset. And the only compensation was to reimburse the resort fee. And no one apologized about it at all. The other issue we had was, we had a package delivered. Nobody could figure where the packages it was. After two days it was at the front desk the whole time, but only three of the four packages despite it seeing all four packages being delivered. After we left, I got a call saying they found the fourth package and it toowas at the front Desk.

Yelp
I booked this place through Costco as an alternative to staying at a hotel in Disney World and I regretted it. I used it because they offered a shuttle to the parks. On arrival I met with really condescending staff that gave me different answers as to when I can book the shuttle, suffice it to say, I ended up Ubering because the times I needed were not available and I did want make the most of my day. They use a third party for this so there is some disconnect, the staff however is not adept at handling this so they just become rude, Disney would never have this. The pool is nice but if you order a drink they stick you with a pretty mighty "service" fee which is unfortunate because one doesn't want to order an $18 drink that becomes $22 with this fee plus still tip! The guests here are not really PG friendly and the walls must be thin because I spent half the night up from my upstairs neighbors as you can hear them walking and talking. I made a claim through Costco and in the future will not opt for that as this is NO Disney World resort!

Yelp
RUN, DON'T WALK! My review will be like many before - this place has tried hard to make itself look good, but they have "put lipstick on a pig" because it is the same shoddy Caribe. The check-in process was awful, with a flippant front desk agent in an unprofessional Old Navy tee shirt. I then had the realization that there was blood on my comforter - EW! And, to top it off, I have a billing issue that, after addressing in person THREE TIMES, is still ongoing. While management pretends they can handle complaints and situations, they never do so. We stayed here because it was within a hotel block at a significantly discounted rate. Next time, I will pay more and choose to stay somewhere clean and with actual customer service.

Yelp
We stayed at the Caribe Royale in Orlando for two nights. My husband had to work at an event at the resort, and the kids and I tagged along to hang out at the hotel. We had a one bedroom suite with two queen beds. It was a nice set up for our family. I could put the kids to bed at 8ish, and my husband and I could hang out in the living room area with the door closed without disturbing them. Likewise, I could have the kids play in the living room in the morning while my husband slept in. The beds were reasonably comfortable, maybe a little firmer than I'd like. The pillows were fine. The towels were definitely on the scratchy side. The shampoo and conditioner were of a decent brand, but they came from dispensers attached to the shower wall, which was convenient (the little bottles are a pain) but a little cheap in appearance. The room darkening shades did let a little light in through the side. The air conditioner worked well and wasn't too loud. Housekeeping does clean, but it's hard to tell when they'll arrive. We were out of the room for hours at a time, and they didn't clean the room. Then, when the kids came in for a rest, that's when housekeeping showed up. I asked for new towels and for the trash to be taken out, but I wasn't going to wake anyone from a nap for more than that! The weird thing was that after I told the housekeeper not to clean the room, we got disturbed again by her manager, who wanted to confirm that I declined the room cleaning. Ugh. I had resting kids, and to have to keep on getting up was a pain. The pool is the central draw for the resort. It's quite large, and there's a nice waterslide that is monitored by a staff member. My kids enjoyed playing in the pool for hours with the other (many) kids. There's also a small playground and a separate kiddie pool. Beside that, there is a ping pong table and pool table in one of the tower's covered patios areas. We went to the 24 hour cafe to get breakfast both mornings. The offerings are pretty limited, and they are no better than what you'd find at your average airport cafe, but it worked for my kids. We weren't hungry enough to justify the high buffet price, and we were too hungry to wait for delivery. Sadly, there's no breakfast place within walking distance other than the hotel restaurants. Parking was fine. Our tower was by the convention center entrance, so parking was a little affected by the conference attendees, but my husband still managed to get decent parking. One little qualm. The website says that they have charging areas for electric cars, and the front desk even underlined where they were on the map. They are NOT really places to charge your car, just outlets that aren't even necessarily by a parking spot. I wouldn't count on charging your electric vehicle while staying at the hotel. You're better off finding a supercharger site elsewhere (only a couple miles away from the hotel, thankfully, but still an extra thing to do rather than relax).

Yelp
What a lovely hotel! It's definitely an older property but the room and everything in it appeared new. The service was fantastic as well. We were there for a weekend seminar and the venue plus the restrooms were super clean. We also enjoyed an amazing dinner at one of their high end restaurants. Definitely would come back.

Yelp
I recently stayed at this resort for a work conference and enjoyed my stay. Starting with check-in, they allowed me to check in early without paying an additional fee and were incredibly helpful when I had a few questions about my reservation. My room was large, clean and comfortable. Guests just need to remember that is a resort with people on vacation - so guests at the pool and walking in the hallway are a bit loud. However, I never had an issue getting good sleep. My conference was on property and their convention center was updated, clean and easily accommodated several conferences at once. Finally - I didn't see a unqiue Yelp page for it, but the Rum Bar in the lobby was exceptional - honestly some of the best cocktails I've ever had!

Yelp
The resort was great, nice pool area, great staff. Everyone from the cleaning services to security and the front desk. They have plenty of food to chose from, breakfast buffet was amazing. So many items to chose from. Fresh omelets made to order. The staff was excellent. Rooms are great, big rooms with a separate living room. Big shower! Parking was awesome, I have a big truck with 40ft trailer and I was escorted through the resort to were we could park safely. You do have to pay for parking though. I did have one issue with the bar/restaurant. Ordered my food and after 40 minutes of waiting and seeing 3 people seated after us get served we asked were our food was and he said the kitchen shut down. But our food was coming right out. Not sure what that meant. Also we had 2 different receipts that did not match. Wait staff at night needs more training but the times we ordered food during the day the waitress were on point. We definitely will be back.

Yelp
The trip was great until the last day. House keeping came into our room an hour before check out and took the food and drinks that we wanted to take with us. Luckily, I had taken our more expensive items out with the majority of our bags earlier. They gave us a credit back that covered some of the items, but they were a bit condescending. They treated us as if we were just trying to get a discount. If you want the vibe this place is going for, you're better off going to Sapphire Falls on Universal property.
