I enjoyed every minute of the Back of the House tour. Laverne was so welcoming and friendly! We learned so much and had so much fun creating our own batik items. All of the ladies are amazing artists and experts at creating gorgeous fabrics. I loved it so much, I brought another group for a second tour.

Stopped here with our tour through the cruise line. It was very well timed to listen to the introduction to the art style and then take a walk around the gift shop. I bought something for myself as well as something for my mother. They had some very well priced smaller items that were very friendly to suitcase Travel constraints. There were a handful of labeled plants on the grounds as well very colorful and interesting to see.

Romney Manor is named after the Earl of Romney, who bought it from the Jeffersons in 1713. Today it is a tourist destination, home to a batik enterprise and a botanical garden. Worth a visit to see the beautiful garden and the batik works there
