So Galveston is where I'm going to go when I retire. In the meantime, I go there to get on a cruise ship. Walking around in Galveston, we noticed an outfit selling the ridiculously expensive but totally worth it Cariloha rayon sheets. The people at the store were really helpful and friendly. So why one star? It is because zero stars or negative stars is not an option. They didn't have the sheets we needed in stock. No problem, I want these sheets. I was told that I would get them in about a week, and that I would be emailed shipping information. Two an a half weeks later, no sheets, and no email. I called several times, with no answer, and left a message with no reply. I just called my credit card provider to make a dispute for the charges. This is not what I wanted to do, and the only time I've ever done it. The operator asks me if I want to dispute the charges because I no longer want the product. "No, I want the sheets, I still want the sheets." So she offers as a potential solution the delivery of what I ordered and paid for I have no idea how any of this disputing charges business works.
I expect I'll get the sheets or the money back at some point. I'd rather have the sheets, and I'm not sweating two hundred bucks, but for calling multiple times during business hours and leaving a message with no reply?. No matter how much I liked the experience of the store and my wife liked shopping there, I would give the place a negative five hundred stars if it were possible. I don't want to, they made me do it, because I paid for something that I didn't get, and they didn't answer the phone, nor did they reply to my message.
I am not sweating two hundred bucks, but I'm not laughing it off either.
I can get sheets, or a refund. Dealers choice. I'd prefer the sheets. What they are not getting is a good review.
