I have been a fan of Carl Friedrik for a long time and was an early customer, I have also exchanged emails with the founders and their ethos is clear throughout their brand. I encountered an issue with a product and the lifetime warranty was easily dealt with by Favour in the customer service team. I was a fan of the brand already but the level of customer service they showed to remedy my product issue was really outstanding and I will continue to recommend them highly.

Very little ever goes wrong with Carl Friedrik luggage, but when it does, they are on it straightaway. When one of my suitcase locks lost a retaining pin, they sent me by special delivery a new lock with an idiot’s guide to installing it, and promised it would be easy. It was, and took less than two minutes! As ever, CF’s helpful and friendly service confirms my belief that I did well to buy their wares (two full sets of luggage, including carry-on and check-in suitcases, overnight bags, briefcases, a suit bag, rucksack and numerous accessories!).

The suitcases are good, but the customer service is more interested in forcing you to fill out their forms than in making you happy. That's literally the summary of my experience with their customer service. So I decided to change brands, because of the lack of interest in customers.

I got one of their hybrid trunks and I have to say I prefer it over rimowa?? Its lightweight and durable. The locks are easy to close and fits a lot. The bags withstood lots of travelling and handling with minimal scuffs. Really impressed!

i got my first luggage from them and had an issue with the pen pocket inside the carry on. Emailed their warranty team and they quickly shipped a replacement item and it reached just in time before my travel dates. Highly recommend the bag and the company

I had a very disappointing experience at the Carl Friedrik London store this past Sunday. My girlfriend and I stopped in while visiting from NYC. I’ve been a longtime admirer of the brand and was genuinely excited to finally see the bags in person — especially as I was considering purchasing multiple pieces. Unfortunately, the in-store experience fell far short of expectations. We were the only customers in the store, yet we were not greeted upon entry. The associate on duty appeared disengaged and uninterested, which made the atmosphere feel unwelcoming and uncomfortable. It was surprising given the brand’s premium positioning. As someone who truly appreciates the product and craftsmanship, this experience significantly changed my perception of the company and influenced my purchasing decision. I hope management takes this feedback seriously. The in-store experience should reflect the quality and sophistication the brand promotes.

I have purchased the large checked in bag and the carry on almost a year ago. They do have an incredible Black Friday sale to note. The bag itself is incredibly well made - compared to other brands I’ve tried. The wheels are top tier - I’ve rolled them all over Europe and by far the easiest to wheel suitcase on cobblestone and uneven surfaces. This makes a shocking difference for travelling. The clip closure is fantastic, compared to zippers. Aesthetically - I’ve had 10-15 people approach me to ask what brand it is. Very chic and luxurious with the leather trim. Their customer service is fantastic. I had an airline absolutely trash my bag and their customer service supported me easily through the process to get a new bag. I would recommend Carl Friedrich 10/10.
