I enjoyed our guided tour with Alexander. His English was perfect, and his knowledge was extensive. I'm very glad there were only eight of us because the Swedish tours appeared to have up to 20 people in a group and the rooms are too small to take this number of people.
There are various tours but I'd recommend booking. We paid SEK400 each as seniors, but the prices are on the website.
We went to book in person and then went for a coffee and cake at the local cafe.
We had parked our campervan in the Carl Larsson-gården parkering in Grånäsvägen so had a short, enjoyable walk to the house and garden but there's plenty of parking very close by near the café.
The staff are friendly and we bought our tickets from Rebecca, whose English is also perfect.
I docked one star just because I didn't feel I got to the bottom of the Larsson story, but I don't think that's possible in the 45 minutes we had.
It may be that an introduction to the Larsson's, outside the house, perhaps in the garden, if it isn't raining, especially for foreigners, might be in order? In the meantime, a quick look at Wikipedia before your visit might help...
