Took the guided tour in their house, and it was absolutely stunning and interesting. I loved it! Their life and history and art is so inspiring, you can tell there was so much love and beauty in this home and I highly recommend anyone go visit, especially if you have any interest in art, architecture, design or history. It’s such a beautiful house, and you can tell where IKEA got a lot of inspiration from too! Haha. Don’t forget to take a walk in the garden, and the village, because they’re also gorgeous.

Very nice place, with a great view. History is well explained, it's very interesting ! There is a small hike for kids with some questions to interet them in nature, and a longer trail (~2km) for adult which is great too. We enjoyed this place.

Linda was an extraordinary Guide. She was always speaking with enthusiasm. I really enjoyed every single corner in this House. I recommend to read Carl Larsson Biography to understand more the importance of this Life style with his Family and with his Wife Karin, who was also a painter and after many other artist activities This house in an inspiration of Love and creativity.

Being in the place where one of Sweden's greatest together with him equally talented (and oftenly forgotten) wife created their own creative environment brought me great joy. Worths the time to take a tour. Book tickets beforehand just to avoid unecessary stress

Fascinating house to see, beautiful lakeside garden, excellent guided tour through the house. You may also want to walk around; there's a recreational park area nearby or you could walk to the church and beyond.

We visited the garden before the opening time of the actual house. We were fortunate that all the trees were in blossom. The garden is quite small but I’d interesting with lake views.

It is so sad that we cannot take photos inside the house during the guidning

I enjoyed our guided tour with Alexander. His English was perfect, and his knowledge was extensive. I'm very glad there were only eight of us because the Swedish tours appeared to have up to 20 people in a group and the rooms are too small to take this number of people. There are various tours but I'd recommend booking. We paid SEK400 each as seniors, but the prices are on the website. We went to book in person and then went for a coffee and cake at the local cafe. We had parked our campervan in the Carl Larsson-gården parkering in Grånäsvägen so had a short, enjoyable walk to the house and garden but there's plenty of parking very close by near the café. The staff are friendly and we bought our tickets from Rebecca, whose English is also perfect. I docked one star just because I didn't feel I got to the bottom of the Larsson story, but I don't think that's possible in the 45 minutes we had. It may be that an introduction to the Larsson's, outside the house, perhaps in the garden, if it isn't raining, especially for foreigners, might be in order? In the meantime, a quick look at Wikipedia before your visit might help...
