After a stressful experience with a nearby Airbnb, we found ourselves arriving late at the Continental Europe Hotel. What we encountered, however, was nothing short of extraordinary.
Despite having no idea what we had just been through, the two gentlemen working the front desk that night—David and Fabian—welcomed us with warmth, professionalism, and a level of kindness that completely turned our night around. They offered us a great rate and, to our surprise, even upgraded us to a suite. They did this without any knowledge of what we had gone through, which made their generosity feel all the more genuine and touching.
The suite was spacious, clean and comfortable space with a beautiful view and balcony.
The following morning, we were met with the same high level of hospitality. The breakfast wait staff were cheerful and attentive, creating a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere to start our day. At checkout, the front desk team once again went above and beyond, helping us with logistics and treating us with such kindness and care that we genuinely felt like valued guests rather than just passersby.
The service team gave us an incredibly positive memory after what could have been a ruined trip. David and Fabian, in particular, deserve special thanks for their amazing service.
We’ll never forget their hospitality and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Interlaken.
