Carlton - Europe Vintage Adults Hotel

It’s our first time visiting here in Swiss and I think this is the best hotel I’ve ever visited as everything was so beautiful in here and the room was so cozy, clean and huge that we had a great night. Especially when we checked in, the hotel employee “Nina” welcomed us and she’s the most kind and sweet person we’ve ever met. She kindly let us know info of hotel and some benefits we can use as a guest. It’s our pleasure to meet her. Thank you Nina. We’ll definitely revisit here and recommend visiting this hotel!!

If I could give this place more than a 5 I WOULD. First, its nice and close to the train station. Second, the front desk staff are wonderful. Third, the name suits the hotel perfectly - it is classy and vintage. We were lucky enough to book a top floor room (I THINK it was 403?) in the photo posted of this hotel on trip advisor its the little room with the tiny balcony top floor facing the pool area. I took a photo from inside (see attached) The room itself was fantastic, the bed was SUPER comfy, and all the added touches were charming and cozy. The breakfast here was also very good. We had the best time here and wished we had booked more than 2 nights!

I can’t say enough good things about my stay at the Carlton Vintage Hotel in Interlaken! From the moment my wife and I arrived, I was impressed by how perfectly located it is — just a short five minute and easy walk from the train station, which made arriving with luggage an absolute breeze. Once checked in, I also loved that so many great restaurants and shops were just steps away, so I could easily explore Interlaken on foot without worrying about transportation.||The staff were exceptional — extremely friendly and welcoming. Front desk were great, and all make sure every detail of my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, always greeting me with a smile and ready to help with local tips or anything I needed. Fabian and Steve were exceptionally helpful - and and Fabian especially was extremely helpful when I called the hotel in advance of my check in with some questions. ||My room was large and extremely comfortable and ideal to relax and recharge. It is listed as a "vintage" hotel, and it definitely has vintage charm. It is not your standard modern property, but the vintage charm is perfect and all the decor throughout the lobby and floors add to the overall experience. ||Overall, the Carlton Vintage Hotel combines an unbeatable location with warm hospitality and wonderful accommodations. It was such a memorable experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Interlaken.

I was incredibly happy with my stay at the Carlton-Europe due to the helpful and welcoming staff! I cannot commend the staff enough for making my stay so pleasant and a huge thanks to the wonderful kitchen staff, who prepared a feast for every meal. The food was delicious. The musicians were also so nice and the ambient of the hotel is also very nice. Highly recommended

As it’s name: Vintage, it is a very historical hotel. Located just in front of crystal clear Aare river and Harder Kulm funicular, this hotel is in a very good location. Can be reached less than 5 minutes from Interlaken Ost station. Breakfast is standard, with Swiss cheese selection, and a very nice view too. During summertime please be advized that almost hotels in Interlaken do not have air condition. The provide a fan in the room.|I think this hotel is pet friendly too.

While other nearby restaurants refused to serve me once they realized I was only there for a drink, Carlton welcomed me warmly and that said a lot about this hotel. I ordered an Irish coffee while waiting for my train and didn’t expect much, but oh boy, it was delicious! Big thanks to the friendly staff and the skilled bartender. I’d love to stay at this hotel next time.

Wonderful hotel just a few steps away from the train station and across the street from Harder Kulm. The vintage decor was lovely, the room was comfortable and with beautiful views of the mountains. The staff was extremely helpful and breakfast was delicious. I will miss those fresh croissants. Overall a great hotel.

We stayed here as part of our package and I am so glad that we stayed here.||The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to Interlaken OST train station. The funicular was just across the park.||We were accommodated on the first floor in a large corner room with three balconies! This was a huge room with a powerful shower and good quality toiletries.||The garden with its pond in the back accommodated several dining tables where having an evening meal and breakfast in the morning was truly amazing.||One of the other tremendous strength about this hotel are the most courteous and hospitable staff.||Just two issues though! The hotel did not provide milk for that ever important morning brew and you had to pay if you wanted an omelette or a poached or fried egg. To be fair though, they did have scrambled eggs included for breakfast.||All in all, it was just a wonderful place to rest our heads!

This hotel was very cute and felt very "traditional Switzerland" based on the decor. Lots of Knick knacks and antiques. Our room was very big and clean. I don't recall seeing elevators so I don't know if they have them. The hotel is about a 3 minute walk from the east train station, which was incredibly convenient because we got in late the night we arrived. Staff was friendly but there was a mix up about breakfast. We didn't reserve our room with breakfast included but a woman in the dining area said it was automatically included. Turns out we had to pay extra upon check out so that staff member gave our wrong info. It wasn't a huge deal but it's worth noting. This hotel checked all of our boxes for our short stay in Interlaken.

This hotel was amazing fabulous staff room was perfect clean and comfortable, views were awesome. Thank you for a most amazing stay, no children so super quiet breakfast superb.

Staff is great, very accommodating, but there is a nightclub underneath the hotel that plays loud music until 4:30am on Fridays and Saturdays. They could've told us about this when they booked the room. Do not go here if you expect to get a good nights sleep.

staff is ridiculously accommodating, view is absolutely gorgeous, breakfast and all other meals are above par. staff is always wanting to help you and they are extremely knowledgeable about the area. would recommend highly again.
