Carlton - Europe Vintage Adults Hotel

Stayed for two evenings and cannot recommend it enough. The rooms are incredible, we had views of the mountains with a lovely private balcony to enjoy. Breakfast was included for us and the selection and quality of food was exceptional, best hotel breakfast to date. Plus, you can enjoy breakfast while viewing the mountains with the large glass sliders that connect to the yard. The staff was very kind and accommodating and you can tell they take pride in their hotel and service. Lastly, it is super close to the train station for quick day trips as well.

We stayed at quite a few hotels during our European holiday and the Hotel Carlton-Europe at Interlaken was by far the best. From the minute we walked through the door we felt welcomed. Staff were marvellous, room - and the view - was perfect, a lot bigger than we had experienced elsewhere. Breakfasts were excellent and the location, walking distance to the station, was perfect. Would definitely recommend and hopefully we will be back again one day.

Delightful boutique hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Several seating areas to sit and enjoy drinks from the bar including an outside area. Typical breakfast is served and included in the rate. Great location, close to train and multiple restaurants. Very convenient to take train to all mountain areas. |We enjoyed walking and dining throughout Interlaken. Our room was more than adequate and very comfortable. We ate one night in the dining room. The food was freshly prepared and absolutely wonderful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. |We look forward to visiting again.||We particularly enjoyed the adult hotel, no children under 16 . Great, quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

If I could give 6 stars I would! Carlton-Europe is in a great location. We could walk to the Interlaken OST train station in less than 5 minutes. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. When we stepped into the reception area, we were greeted as if we were their most important guests. The breakfast served there is top notched. They are so fresh and prepared in home-made style. There are a good variety of bakery, yogurt, warm-food, juices, coffee/tea. Since it is an adult only hotel, it gives you an extra peaceful atmosphere. To sum it up, it can't go wrong if you choose to stay there in Interlaken.

The check in experience as well as the warm hospitality provided by the staff (especially by Florian) was one of the best that we received during our Swiss vacation. Florian greeted us with great energy and some much needed humor after an early morning train ride from Geneva. The comprehensive information/instructions he provided were also very helpful. As for the hotel, it was very convenient and close to everything (walking distance to the train station, restaurants, coop/groceries, shopping etc.). The property also had all of the charm that you would expect for a classic European hotel. Highly recommend this property if you are staying in interlaken.

Friendly front desk staff and the hotel location is gorgeous.The frontdesk helped me with an early checkin and also upgraded my room with a bath-tub. The view from the room balcony was Mesmerizing and nothing short of a heavenly view…The breakfast was descent, however a little short of vegetarian options.The chocolates at the reception desk were amazing, better than Lindt. I wish I could know where they sourced them from😁Harder Kulm (Top of Interlaken) entrance is just in front of the hotel.The market is at walking distance and also the OST station is very closeby.Thanks Carlton Team for making our stay pleasant and memorable…Ciao!

We enjoyed our 3 nights stay in this Service was excellent. Hotel located to train station and tours. Our compliments to David and Nicholas, very helpful and polite.|Breakfast had a wide selection.|Our only criticism was that bed was not comfortable and bath too high, so difficult to get in and out of it.|Overall a very good experience at this Hotel and would definitely return to this Hotel.

Beautiful location. From balcony we can see harder kulm funicular train, canal connecting both lakes. It's an vintage hotel , where we can see lot of vintage items... Breakfast was so nice and the ambience...so class. Staffs were so helpful
