I chose this place because it looked close to the train station. It's literally across the street from the train station. So that worked.
The hotel itself is delightful. It's not so tall that the rooftop breakfast give you an amazing view. But at seven stories, you get a decent view.
Down the street about two blocks is the city square with statues to make fun of lots of selfie opportunities. Also, a great meeting place for folks staying a lesser hotels.
I noticed that there are lots of pictures of the booze in the room. I have to say, I took one. Decanters of actual whiskey, gin, and vodka - not your average hotel. But I decided to post a picture of the artwork in the hallway instead.
Quick note about the staff: REALLY great staff. Two of us in my party needed to print something. Brian's way important, mine was not. But we both received great service and a concern for our needs. Between all that and early check-in, looking after our bags, and helping out at every turn, we were very pleased with the staff.
Overall, a good value and a great location.
