Carlton House

Lovely, quiet bed and breakfast , walking distance of Skipton High street and castle . Ann and David were great hosts and the breakfast was amazing! Will definitely stay again in the near future. We stayed in room 4 on the top floor . Very comfortable bed. We were given lots of advice on places to visit and especially enjoyed our recommended visit to Bolton Abbey, Harrogate and Stump Cross caverns. We will return. Thankyou for being such great hosts.

Carlton House is situated a convenient 5 minutes from Skipton town centre and any other ammenities, which made it perfect for us tootling back and forth. ||||We had the warmest welcome and comfortable stay. It really was a home-from-home. Ann and David are both kind and attentive hosts that do a very grand job (breakfast is superb)||||A great period property, with tasteful decor and immaculately clean. ||The beds are worth the stay alone! High quality mattress, pillows and bedding and everything you need is supplied in room, inc hairdryer and even down to cotton pads and earbuds.||||I cant imagine anyone being uncomfortable here... And will always highly recommend. ||||Ps, looking forward to staying again next year.||||Emma & Jaquie.

Spent a great couple of nights at Carlton House. Ann and Dave were very hospitable and the room was very comfortable, although a little on the small side. Breakfast was outstanding, a very filling full English of the highest quality. Although the house is located on a busy main road, the room we had at the back, room 1, was totally quiet. Only about a five minute walk into town, where there are many places to eat and drink. Also, less than a 10 minute walk to the station for an unmissable trip on the Settle to Carlisle line. Definitely recommended.

Wonderful bed and breakfast situated in a really convenient location for exploring the treats of Skipton. Ann and David were caring hosts and made every effort to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Excellent facilities, comfortable bed and fantastic atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Spent 3 nights here. A lovely couple Ann and David run this delightful b&b. It was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was great. It was like being one of the family!||Located within walking distance of the train station and the high street. The bed was so comfy.||Will definitely stay here again.

We love staying at this guest house. It's cozy, clean and relaxing. The owners work really hard and make a real effort keeping their guests happy, making you feel at home. Absolutely lovely couple. Breakfast is always cooked perfectly, full English with as much toast, cereal and fruit you can stomach. It's always sad when our stay comes to an end and we cannot wait to go back again. Just wish I could take this accommodation with me everywhere I stay;)
