Carlton Star Hotel

The location is quite good. But the hotel is disgusting. Smelly room, filthy curtains, filthy bed frame, thin linens, terrible wash room. Not much in furniture, no water boiler, no tea or coffee. Many ghost reviews on booking sites give the impression that it is a good hotel. We are no ghosts, we left after inspecting the room. Initially lost our prepaid charges, but booking company was gracious enough to give us a refund later. We had a great stay at the Arena Premier Hotel nearby!

Indeed this is a budget hotel, but that is no justification for being filthy and run-down. Our non-smoking room had the smell of a dusty smoking room. Filthy wash room, filthy bed frame, linens were very thin, we did not inspect them for stains. No coffee, no tea, no water kettle, no chairs, but upon request those were delivered to the room. No refrigerator. Filthy curtains. |Such bad vibes in this place that we decided quickly not to stay. Lost our prepaid charges. At least we had not paid the requested tourist tax yet. All places we have stayed in Malaysia the last two years did NOT charge this tax anymore in addition as they were included in the prepaid booking charges. Be aware!|We rather lost our money than deal with the consequences of staying in such a filthy place. |We wish that booking companies remove lodgings like these from their listings.

We arrived at 3 AM and the uncle checked us in. He made sure all the remotes were working before handing the room over to us. The location is within walking distance from the terminal. The place is very old but clean. However, the bathroom door is not full height and the bottom part is visible.

Room is clean and smell good.but the curtain is old..near to terminal one just walk about 5 minutes..next time will repeat again.

Really need to upgrade the room Booked via Agoda, a window room but given non windows room, said full!

A hotel older than my grandpa, with elevators that make frightening clunking noises as if they could break down at any moment. The rooms are spacious but have a strange smell, seemingly from air fresheners trying to mask lingering odours like cigarette smoke from previous guests. The price is really cheap, so don't expect too much, you get what you paid for. it’s okay for just a night stay.

Amazing hotel option with good staff service. The twin room (for 2 persons) cost around RM 78 per night, including tax. The room includes a TV, hangars, a desk and chair, wi-fi, bottled water, towels, and bath soap. The air-conditioning was very comfortable, contributing to a good night's sleep. Staff service was good and the staff are able to speak English, trying their best to make sure we have all we need and that our stay was comfortable. From Seremban Terminal 1 bus station, it is a 5 minute walk to the hotel. From the hotel, there are shopping centres (Terminal One, and Prima Mall) a short walking distance away, and there are several food options and stores near the hotel.

Old and dilapidated state. Might as well close down the inn. Walls are dirty, door knob absent.
