Breathtaking interior The tables composition was a bit too crowded, as we were literally part of another couple date 😂 Nice service Food was good but not wow: Hotline pizza was below average Zest in peace pizza was really good Truffle pizza was good Tiramisu and Brûlée were average. I don’t think I’ll visit again, but I’d still recommend to try at least once because of the design

What a beautiful restaurant! We enjoyed the food very much. Service was good too. We ordered the steak and pasta, ending with one of the best tiramisu I had.

The food was delicious and the vibes were amazing. Our waiter Claudio was very friendly, and his recommendations were excellent. He provided outstanding service and made us feel very welcome. A lyon favourite of mine!

10 Oct 25. Did not live up to the expectations on Google and on entry. Our lemon fish pasta was served cold and unseasoned (had all of one piece of chopped tartare, no cream, no salt, no pepper, zero taste, too much spaghetti) and the moment of truffe pizza was served room temperature (also unseasoned, meagre amount of mushrooms, almost zero taste or aroma of truffles, dry as though it had no white cream base, and the dough wasnt fully cooked in the middle). The burrata pomodoro was excellent. Drinks average. We wanted to order their special Espressoni and the one bold red wine they allegedly sold by the glass were not in stock - the shop just opened for lunch at 12pm mind you. It set them up for a fail. Classic poor management of the menu and customer expectations. The food wasn't cheap to begin with. Their signature dish was the truffle pasta in a small brass pan with no meat. The place was table-packed like sardines with guests having to squeeze to enter past the booths. I can't understand why their menu was so shoddy and selection was so mediocre. Just 4-5 pastas and yet there was none of the following: no ragu or carbonara or pesto variant, no risotto, no type of flat pasta noodles like linguine or taglietelle, no tortellini. Pizzas selection was equally depressing.

34K people are usually not wrong and I'll add my voice to this choir. Carmelo is an absolute delight of a restaurant, and serves up great food with excellent service. I had the signature truffle pasta with optional white ham (highly recommend it) and it was malantic! Will most definitely come again.

Walked in and sat at the bar by myself, since I was traveling alone. Was a great experience! Bartenders are attentive and personable. The food was excellent and delivered quickly. Great vegetarian options. Highly rec the tiramisu!! I took a walk through the restaurant and it has a unique charm to all of the different rooms that elevates the atmosphere. I would definitely return

Restaurant has an awesome vibe and interior. It felt too good to be there, to sit and to eat. Service was little slow since we had to wait for more than 25mins to get our food, however the server and all the other people working there were very nice! We ordered a pizza and a pasta. Pizza (Margherita) was good, but pasta (San Marzano) was average. food wasn’t amazing to deserve a 5 star, however the restaurant’s staff and the vibe deserves 5 star.

Its a really busy restaurant. It opens around 630pm when we walked in and it was almost full house when we left at around 8pm. The restaurant’s decor was really impressive. However, food wise was a little disappointing. It wasn’t not delicious but I expected more after seeing all the reviews and the hype. We had the truffle pasta, which was my favourite dish. Manzo (the beef) was a little too raw. Tiramisu is decent too!

Make sure to make reservations for this restaurant as it's sure to be packed! What a vibe this place has...from the bottles of wine in one room to antique plates. Each room is a conversation piece. The drink and cocktail menus offer fabulous drinks and the food menu....it had me at truffles!!!! Truffle pasta and truffle pizza...delicious! I did want some protein and so I did an order of steak too. Overall, amazing service, food and ambience! A must when in Lyon!

This is a nice restaurant inside with amazing decor on the walls throughout, many dining rooms, on two floors. However, even when I had a reservation, they put us in these bench booths in the front near the door and bar. It was terribly noisy and irritating, we couldn't even hear our guests speaking at dinner. For drinks they had no French wine, just Italian. For the meals, I ordered the pasta with butter and the meatballs. Both were cold and tasted terrible. The meatballs were bitter tasting and the pasta was too soft and plain tasting. The truffle pasta we ordered was a bit better, but not by much. Finally, no bread was provided for the meal. What kind of Italian restaurant doesn't provide a basket of bread? Especially a country that prides itself on great bread making! For service, the server was friendly but we barely saw her for the rest of the meal, she gave us very little attention. Needless to say, we will not return. Yes it has beautiful decor, but that's about it.

We arrived right at opening since there were no reservations available and were seated promptly. The service was fast and friendly and all food items were exquisite. Our personal favorite was the truffle pasta - creamy, perfectly cooked, and the perfect amount of truffle. I don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu here ! If you're in Lyon and looking for good Italian, make this your stop!

Great place! We arrived right at opening and were able to get a table quickly. Most people had reservations, so I'd definitely recommend doing that if you plan ahead. The place is huge! Much bigger than I expected, with fun decor and obviously, a great menu. Our server, Kate was awesome and very knowledgeable about the menu. Got the truffle pasta in the cheese wheel and it was great. We split it between two people and could have used another person to fully finish it. Great for leftovers!

Came here on a recent trip and it was just at opening time. We got a little scared because we did not have a reservation and the reservation line was at least 10 people deep. We were the only ones in the without reservations line and someone came out immediately and seated us. By the way this restaurant is massive. It felt like it just kept going. It was loud and bustling with people. All of this in a good way though. Bottles lined the walls. It felt warm and homey. The drinks were really good. The food was amazing. We had the truffle pizza and added the Stracciatella which was amazing. We also had the truffle pasta with the next day we ate cold in the car driving to Geneva and it was still to die for. There was one dish ordered at our table that just wasn't good. I can't remember what it was but it was I believe spaghetti Pomodoro. It was supposed to be spicy pasta. The pasta was very clearly made in house, and I had an awful texture, and I know this is going to sound weird but it tasted like hotdogs. Overall everything else was great. Every restaurant has got to have one dish that's not so great I suppose so I'll forgive them As well, the waiter managed with our not great French, with his much better English. Highly recommend everything with truffles and straciatella is to die for and extremely well priced.

Really cool restaurant with great ambience. I would describe this place as more of a tapas restaurant. Great drinks. Recommend making a reservation.

Bon restaurant Italien, l'endroit est atypique et on s'y sent bien, j'ai mis 4 étoiles car pour moi il manque de la musique d'ambiance italienne.

We finally got to try this restaurant after hearing about it for some time now. I would advise to book ahead because the wait time can be quite long without any reservation (we waited for about 30 minutes at 2:15pm). This place is always packed! The restaurant is quite big with beautiful decor and ambiance. And the service is top notch. The menu changes on a monthly basis. Everything we tried was delicious. Their signature truffle pasta was amazing but I only realised after we left that they forgot to add the grated truffle on our dish... it was the last service and seeing how hard the chefs work in the open kitchen, I understand it can happen (I'll know for next time). Their Cotoletta alla Milanese was perfectly cooked and huge! We ordered several dishes to share which I would recommend to do. This place is definitely worth it for the food and ambiance. And they have a nice drink list as well.

Fabulous evening with an amazing server name Marina and her associate. She brought Lyon to LIFE! Charming, smart, fun truly made our evening fabulous. Food is fun. The ambience is festive. Thank you again.
