It’s a lovely place🥰The architecture is very beautiful. I can say one of the photo spot 📸We stayed here for 6 nights. And could sleep very well(After 11pm is quiet time).Our room was separated the shower and toilet(The second and third floor has room). The shower/toilet room has free water server so you can drink water/hot water anytime!! The 1st floor has sofa,tables/chairs,free drinks and food♡ Available the washing service (1kg/10RK) →Order to the staff from WhatsApp 😊👍🏻 Have a good stay!!!

Booked a double room with private toilet and was really impressed by how clean it was. For the price we paid, having a room in this location was a steal! Plenty of delicious street food and cafe nearby, will definitely stay here again next time!

Location was great at a very central place in Georgetown. Quiet and convenient. Nicole was very nice and accommodating too, overall the homestay was a great experience staying in a traditional shop house in Penang

Looking for room for 7 adult, and happen to get this Guest house. Nice and clean environment, Nonya theme, love it 👍🏻👍🏻 staff that help us check in(Eva) was very helpful and nice. This Guest house is nearby all mural in George Town.

Our cocoon while we stayed in Penang. Carnavorn House is just walking distance to mostly ol' town area of Georgetown and it is easy to get a grab (no need to rent a car) if you just want to browse the alleys like Armenian street and surrounding. We booked the en-suite room for 3 people so we got the room which is located at the new wing side. Our Orchid-room was facing the roadside, yet we could hear lil' noise due to the double-glass. It was impeccably clean and spacious for 3 people. The pillows were soft and the mattress was good. The hotshower in our room has a good temperature. The aircon works well. We loved the choice of the room's colour theme and also the small details that gave the character to the room. Below, there is a dining room and hot/cold water, coffee/tea with provided some light snacks/fruits (such as apple). We will definitely stay again at Carnavorn House when we visit Penang ;) Attention : it is more convenient just to call a grab if you just want to browse around the old town as the alleys are narrow and official car park at roadsides are limited. Also we experienced our rental car's body got scratched in the evening (found the following morning). But around the areas, we saw some private garage in case you want to certain parking spot for your car and safety.

Nice place. Location is well located. 15 to 20 mins walk to the Ferry Terminal commonly called Jetty. Staff are nice.

A hidden gem in the old streets of Penang. It is a quiet location but central to everything. The facilities are quaint and well appointed. The rooms are simple and very clean. I could not think of anything that was missed. I travel to Penang frequently and this place is now my favourite.

Awesome stay! The place was very beautiful, really clean and comfortable! Although it was central, we barely heard any noise from outside. Streetfood and most of the sightseeing spots were just around the corner so that we could walk everywhere. Nicole is a very kind host! She gave us a warm welcome, showing us around and giving us recommendations! You have the opportunity to store food and gather in the common space. The laundry service was also excellent! We received our laundry on the same day back. Nicole and her team did everything to respond to our requests in a quick and smooth way! Definitely recommended, if you're coming to Georgetown!
