Fabulous and consistent are the attributes to be stressed here! We had dined here 3yrs ago and fallen in love with the beautiful garden setting. Coming back for my birthday dinner was the perfect choice as it turned out. Spyros Tranakas, chef and owner welcomed us and made sure everyone's individual needs were taken care of. Lovable atmosphere, immaculate and heartfelt service, Michelin star worthy cuisine with great attention to details. Besides kids-compatible menu options, we ordered for the grown-ups: an artisanal tuna tartare, nicely balanced with fruity and umami flavors, tuna filet grilled à point toppping a lovely garden salad with a steal-the-show dressing, and my personal favorite, lobster linguine boasting with flavor in every bite. Pairing the menu with an elegant Ovilos White of Ktima Biblia Chora was like the icing on the cake. — Superb dinner experience!

I have been coming to this restaurant every year for the last 5-6 years at least, bringing my charter clients and students. Every time, everyone is happy. The food is delicious and well presented, the service is excellent and the atmosphere amazing. Nice music , not too loud, really there are not enough words to express how good Carnayo is. The menu has some golden standards but also small changes every now and then when the chef comes up with some interesting and tasty new version of a well known standard greek dish. A meal here is like a jazz concert for the taste buds. There may be some standards but they will not be played always the same way...

Great place away from the busy harbour. The food was great and service could not be faulted. Even though we arrived late one evening and were the only customers we were warmly welcomed and not rushed at any point. Plenty of fans to keep the air moving on hot evenings. Good varied choice of dishes to keep everyone happy.

Mediocre. Gin & tonic - no slice of lemon or lime - tonic in abundance - whatever happened to customer preference? No condiments on table. We don't do small beers. Why not? Buy some smaller glasses. Poached cod? So why dry and crispy? Wild greens. Very nice but when you can't see the rest of the food for them then think again. Carrot puree with almost everything. Has there been a carrot glut? I suspect this place thinks it's 10/10 - for me it barely achieves 3.

One of the best meals we’ve ever had. All of the food was delightful and the vegetarian moussaka was especially delicious. Really nice atmosphere and great service, very quiet which was surprising given how good it was. We’ll be thinking about the moussaka for the rest of our lives

Carnayo is a must visit if you are in paxos! A great menu, veggie friendly and they do an incredible vegan moussaka, which was the only one we could find on the island. We went twice during our week stay. Such a beautiful restaurant with lovely friendly staff- the service and attention to detail was outstanding (we don’t have many photos to post because the host made sure we were enjoying every moment, rather that being on our phones) Our highlight was the grilled feta with watermelon preserve, it was delicious with such a mix of flavours. 5/5

An exceptional restaurant with unforgettable charm the food is incredibly tasty combining traditional Greek flavors with a creative modern twist every dish was prepared with care and presented beautifully the waitress was extremely kind welcoming and attentive making the whole experience even more enjoyable the atmosphere is warm cozy and full of character you truly feel like you’re dining at a friend’s home rather than just a restaurant everything from the service to the decor shows how much love and effort they put into making guests feel special highly recommended and definitely a place I would return to again and again thank you for such a wonderful experience and if I ever visit the island again this restaurant will be the very first place I go without hesitation Also there is a 10 percent discount if you pay cash

Best sushi i’ve ever had in my life, the staff are very friendly and the place is very beautiful. the sushi was fresh with perfect flavours we also indulged in mango margaritas which also tasted very fresh and delicious with fresh mango purée, highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a good meal in paxos
