CARNITAS MACHIN PESCADERO

Hands down the best tacos we had while traveling BCS for 2weeks! Definitely stop and try them, you won't regret it. So much flavor. Roadside restaurant, patio seating and nothing fancy, but clean and really good food.

There are no words to describe how good the food here is. The salsa macha!!!! It is very "rustic" but is so tasty it doesn't matter. The locals frequent this place and we see its popular with tourists as well. Don't let the "rustic" atmosphere scare you off. It is just soooooo good!!!

Easily the best tacos we had on an 8 day trip to Baja. So good, it was the only place we ate at twice. Carnitas is outstanding, all loin, no big fat pieces. Fried up on a flat top. with house made fixings to make it your own. They accept credit cards and cash.

Overall really solid spot for carnitas tacos. The tortillas were hand made there and the meat was pretty good but not amazing in terms of juiciness and flavor. Service is a little hectic but it’s a busy food spot on the side of the road. Would recommend.

We were fishing on the beach and our guide took us here. I know I was hungry, but I swear these were the best tacos I've ever had. Salsas were amazing and I ate myself into blissful oblivion. Huge value for the $$.

Tasty tacos and refreshing margaritas. It’s right off of highway 19 in El Pescadero. Very reasonably priced. We paid 20USD for two of us including 2 margaritas!

What does it mean when you walk up and the first thing they do, after trading greetings, is offer you a succulent portion of porky goodness to sample.....Winner! The meat is wonderfully cooked with seasonings right on point. Service is warm & helpful, with a solid selection of salsa's & other toppings. I've already come back, repeatedly, while on vacation. Do Not Miss It!!

My husband and I stopped here after a day trip up to Todos Santos. I had already found them with a Google search, but you can't miss them if you're driving along highway 19 due to their many roadside signs. Carnitas Machin was doing a bustling business but we were seated quickly. It looks like you can also walk up to the counter and get your food to go, which many customers were doing. But let's get to the carnitas -- they were outstanding! The tacos are brought to your table on a plastic-covered plate with no toppings. Diners then take their plates over to a table that's filled with an array of toppings -- salsas, onions, slaw, etc. I honestly could've sat there eating carnitas all afternoon. We each had two tacos and a coke, and our total bill was about 100 pesos. Service is a little slow, and we had to wait a while to pay our bill, but it's worth it. Do yourself a favor and stop at Carnitas Machin -- you won't regret it.

YES GO HERE FOR THE BEST CARNITAS! IT IS A HIDDEN GEM. I drive 40 mins from San Jose Del Cabo for this! It may not look like much from the road but YOU GOTTA GO HERE! The sad thing is I don't want to eat carnitas anywhere else.

You know a spot is excellent when they only offer one thing - hand pressed tortillas with loaded carnitas along with an array of salsa and cilantro accoutrements of your choosing. 11/10 would return.

As far as I can tell, the only thing they serve is carnitas tacos. There is a bar with different salsas, onions, cilantro, pickled jalapeños and carrots. Open air place. The carnitas are tasty and unctuous, nice salsas, great prices. A very good choice!

What can I say? Carnitas were heavenly and served in a flash! So succulent!! The folks that work there are very happy and kind.

We were hungry after a day of travel to Mexico. On our way to La Paz we stopped to enjoy some absolutely delicious tacos. I wish I had tried the quesadillas, but two corn shell tacos left me stuffed.

The only one choice for meat is carnitas. But, boy do they do it right. Taco bar with fresh fixings to go with the carnitas. Best carnitas tacos I've ever had, and the prices are low!

Very good carnitas and reasonably priced. I also like the crispy chicharron that they give with the order.

They only have one thing on the menu and there's a good reason for that: BEST CARNITAS TACOS EVER. Clearly a favorite among the locals, this roadside spot will give you a sample of the goods before you order, which will mostly likely inspire you to order one or two more than you thought you were in the mood for. The meat is crazy flavorful and succulent, the tortillas are perfect, and they are literally cooking the tomatoes and vegetables for the salsa right there on the grill in front of you. Don't overthink it, you're in Mexico, stop here for some amazing authentic tacos and a Coke. You won't regret it!!

I am a local and I eat here at least 3-4 days a week. The are the gold standard for carnitas. Hands down the bestt place for carnitas tacos in Baja Sur! Don't pass it by. Stop and have a few. At 25 pesos each heck have 3 or 4. You won't be disappointed!!

This place has incredible carnitas tacos. They do one thing, and they do it well. All of the freshly prepared salsas are great too, as well as the escabeche. Here's a tip- if you're not into the fatty bits of the meat just ask for "Puro carne." It's a lunch spot only so make sure you go early. Also their Jamaica tea is good too. Not overly sweet as is the norm around here. Enjoy!

They basically sell one thing here. You guessed it, carnitas. Really tasty meat. The sides weren't fantastic, but did the trick. Great stop if you're driving to Todos Santos or La Paz from Cabo.

I'm local. This is the best carnitas around here. Is it the best? No. Is it the best in Baja Sur? Top 5. PERFECT after surfing.

Walked out of the way for this special Carnitas stop in Cabo. It was average IMHO don't think I'd go out of my way again when in Cabo

What a true Mexican experience! Order a taco and gordita - only carnitas at this establishment. One of the most flavorful preparations I've eaten. So if you're passing through Pescadero, don't miss this place - located across from the Pemex station on Hwy 19.
