Guide to Planning a Cruise Wedding

"Features three wedding packages including an entry-level Signature Ceremony for up to about 10 guests that bundles a pre-cruise wedding planner, pre-recorded music, priority embarkation assistance, a local officiant, keepsake certificate, cake, sparkling-wine toast, photography (with a canvas print), onboard decor, and a honeymoon dinner for the newlyweds — packaged at a price point that can fall under $2,000. Larger onboard-reception packages accommodate bigger groups, an off-ship beach-or-garden option is available, and premium add-ons (champagne, breakfast, couples massage, chocolate-covered strawberries, etc.) can be purchased à la carte." - Lauren Dana Ellman Lauren Dana Ellman Lauren Dana Ellman is a New York-based writer and editor who specializes in travel, lifestyle, food, and shopping content. 5 Affordable Cruise Vacations and How to Find the Best Deals

"Positioned as a value leader, this line combines competitive base pricing with a wide range of onboard activities and dining options, making it attractive to budget-conscious travelers; many short itineraries are very inexpensive (for example, four-night Bahamas sailings from Miami have been priced at just over $150 per person), and the line’s extensive network of departure ports often reduces or eliminates the need to buy flights, while frequent flash sales provide additional savings." - Lauren Dana Ellman Lauren Dana Ellman Lauren Dana Ellman is a New York-based writer and editor who specializes in travel, lifestyle, food, and shopping content. 6 Cruises That Are Perfect for a Girls Trip

"Positioned as a budget-friendly, high-energy option, the fleet sails from many major U.S. cities and packs each ship with splashy attractions—roller coasters, water slides, mini golf—and broad entertainment that keeps groups busy. It also offers quieter options like the Cloud 9 spa and adults-only Serenity areas for those seeking downtime. Short, affordable sailings are a hallmark (for example, two-day Bahamas trips from Miami and three-day Baja Mexico itineraries from Los Angeles with fares advertised from about $189–$224 per person), making it an easy pick for tight schedules and budgets." - Lauren Dana Ellman Lauren Dana Ellman Lauren Dana Ellman is a New York-based writer and editor who specializes in travel, lifestyle, food, and shopping content. This was a wonderful experience for us first time cruisers however I was disappointed that we brought two excursions and we only did one. The first one didn’t get us back to the port in time and they didn’t compensate us or reach out to us. Overall the staff were amazing and the hosts was lit and full of energy. I loved it and can’t wait to go back.

What an amazing time I had!! The countdown was aggressively on at 130 days, and it was worth it. Had 4 friends join us for their first cruise, and they had a blast. It is perhaps more so watching them have fun that made this cruise that more memorable. Days for some well-deserved sleep, fun, adventure, and, of course, the FOOD made the experience that much more pleasurable. Carnival is the fun ship for a reason. Hey....what's not fun about a carnival? Looking forward to doing it again in 2026!

Five-Star Experience on Carnival Cruise! I recently returned from a wonderful trip with Carnival Cruise, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience! From the moment we boarded, the friendly and welcoming staff made us feel right at home. Their attentiveness and cheerful attitude truly added to the joy of the journey. The food was absolutely fantastic — fresh, delicious, and with plenty of variety to please everyone in our group. Whether it was a casual bite or a sit-down meal, every dish was well-prepared and flavorful. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout the cruise. Housekeeping did an excellent job — always prompt, thorough, and respectful of our schedule. It was such a pleasure to return to a tidy, refreshed space after a day of exploring. Carnival truly delivered on comfort, service, and hospitality. I’m already looking forward to planning my next cruise with them!

Was on the Magic out of Miami. Honestly, I would book a different ship. Half of the doors on deck 5 don't work, the ceilings were leaking throughout the whole ship, my toilet stopped working 3 times, the showe overflowed after being in it for about 3 to 4 minutes, dining room staff forgot something every night, and the shows were subpar. This ship, by far, has been my least favorite out of the 18 ships with Carmival that I have been on. Will not book the Magic ever again.

It was my first time on a cruise and I loved it. The breakfast was boring but delicious for 8 days at sea. Guy Fieri also has an establishment on bored. The burgers were next level delicious. Lots of activities to enjoy on board.

We popped our cherry on Carnival Conquest. If you're a 1st time cruiser this is the boat! If you like to dance, party, & drink you'll enjoy meeting new people. The ship is old school and has a classic charm. It's in the style of impressionist painting artists such as Van Gogh, Monet, & Renoir. The adult private area was great to get away from everything. Food was excellent in the main dining room & at all buffet areas. Our dining room servers Vissile & Joel were funny and friendly. The room attendant Bagiyo kept our room tidy & Clean. Overall great experience! Only Cons- some guests were screaming in halls late at night. A group of kids were yelling and unattended. I was told to call customer service and report issues on our deck if it happens again. Blue Lagoon Island excursion was fun but too short. We were there for maybe 4 hours and then they were already giving us times to leave. If you are running late you can miss your time with the sea life and to eat lunch. Everything is very scheduled out.

10/10 just bring me back overall, the best vacation and birthday gateway. Food, entertainment, hospitality, cleanliness, the ship, and the perfect day at Coco Island were phenomenal. They left no room of disappointment in my book. My family really enjoyed our time.
