We stayed here as part of our honeymoon trip. The hotel is absolutely perfect. It’s impeccably clean. The staff are wonderful! They cannot do enough for you. They are all so kind, helpful and welcoming. It’s clear to see they value their work and enjoy what they do. From welcome drinks, showing us the best spots on the map to restaurant recommendations - they really went over and above. The hotel itself is beautiful. The library is a lovely place to relax and have some quiet, the bar is lovely and the area by the pool is relaxing. The rooms are stunning and so unique. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back. Thank you to everyone at hotel Caro for the extra honeymoon treats and our whole stay. |Emma + Richard xXx

Beautiful hotel with fantastic staff who were very professional. The little touches like a card on your bed each night telling you the weather for the next few days with a treat, the coffee brought to your room, lovely comfortable beds and pillows set the hotel apart. It’s clean and has a beautiful fresh fragrance throughout the hotel. It’s air conditioned during the hot days so you walk into a nice cool room. Valet parking is so helpful in the Old Town you just arrive and they park your car. The Roman ruins throughout the building are incredible. Would highly recommend the hotel.

We stayed three nights at this hotel. The location is fantastic — right on the edge of the old city, providing easy access to the main attractions and excellent accessibility by car. The design of the rooms and public areas is impressive, combining modern amenities without disrupting the charm and flow of the historic building. The service is genuine, professional, and very pleasant. There’s a lovely indoor and outdoor bar area as well. Overall, an excellent choice for a stay in Valencia.|

What a great hotel. Excellent breakfast with choice of meals they prepare for you. All people superfriendly. You can ask for water, coffee, tea,... as much as you want. They stored our rented bikes and took them when we asked. Coming back to the room after a walk or bike ride in hot Valencia is a special feeling as the airco remains on when you leave the room, even taking your card with you. OK, we were also lucky, getting the Playroom, room 13, as this was a great room. All rooms are different. We highly recommend this hotel, it is also located centrally. The pool is small, about 7m long and quite narrow so just OK to swim a little bit and get refreshed.

This is a great hotel. The service was impeccable. Alejandro was amazing and greeted us by mapping out things to do and see in the city. The front desk ladies and the ladies serving breakfast were helpful and courteous. The location is central and we walked everywhere. The only meals we had there were breakfast and it was delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Valencia.

The Caro Hotel is fabulous! It is perfectly located in the heart of the old city. The hotel is impeccably clean, cool, and modern, and the staff are gracious and knowledgeable. Our room was spacious, super quiet and dark at night, with nice cold air conditioning. The hotel has wonderful history and architecture. The bar in the lobby area is very nice, with a patio and a plunge pool adjacent. We hope to return to Valencia, and would 100% stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at this truly boutique hotel. Its small, very clean and well managed by a professional and dedicated staff. The breakfast service is an outstanding experience and worth the money. The hotel is located centrally to shopping and dining and we felt completed safe walking around really late at night. The only negative relates to the air conditioner, it is centrally controlled. At check it we were told setting had to stay above 19c, but it was still hot. Once we complained, they sent a worker and the unit cooled the room enough to sleep. Would definitely stay here again!

In the general the hotel is very nice and feels like they care to maintain it with high standards. The bed and pillow were very comfortable and the decor was also very nice. I felt a bit letdown about what the hotel had to offer as the swimming pool was very tiny and there wasn’t a gym. Also, although the breakfast was nice, the poor lady who was trying to serve all tables on her own (and was very good at her job) the whole weekend clearly needed help as there were too many tables at once to be served. You would expect a different service in a 5 stars hotel.

Yelp
Really nice, like living in a castle, which this actually is. Phenomenal decor, like a museum -- they have a piece of the Roman Circus in the lobby, for example. Rooms are spacious, modern, luxurious. Worst thing I can say is that the mini-bar contained no alcohol, that the tub had the faucet in the middle, and that the attached restaurant had no written menus listing the things they were going to serve you prix fixe. Otherwise, just amazing. Would stay there again happily.
